FortiVoice Software


Fortinet offers a line of on-premise VoIP systems known as FortiVoice that scale from small businesses up to enterprises with 2,000 employees. In addition to IP connectivity, FortiVoice also supports connections to the public switched telephone network (PSTN) for businesses that need backup connections in emergency scenarios.

FortiVoice offers a SIP trunking service, known as FortiCall, for a single-vendor solution. Administrators can also select a VoIP provider certified to work with FortiVoice from a drop-down menu in the administrative interface. Moreover, configuration settings for these providers are already pre-populated in the system.

FortiVoice offers a number of call routing possibilities for all extensions. Users can route calls according to number of rings and whether or not the extension is busy. Users can also screen calls or set an extension to “Do Not Disturb.” Additional FortiVoice units can be deployed in branch offices to allow calls to be transferred between offices.
