Great for webinars

Helped us support our webinar initiatives and gave us the functionality we wanted in hosting them.

Pros

It's easy to use and there's lots of added functionality to add interactivity. We've used this for meetings, but we've started using it to host webinars and it's been a great asset for us. It's a great way to get people talking, and some of the functions, like the audience polling, helps keeps listeners engaged. The test links also work wonders to help setup the meetings.

Cons

The chat function can be a little invasive at times.

A Software for Webinars and Video Conferencing

Pros

I use ReadyTalk for one-one sessions with the people I work with. I can use the video call or voice call and either one provides a smooth connection. This really helps me when I just have to pick up the phone and discuss a brief matter. I also use this software when I need to undergo new training or classes for my graphic design. It’s webinar based learning is convenient because I can access the trainings during my own schedule. I can pause it when I need to take a break and pick up where I left. ReadyTalk has a mid-range price, but is definitely a good investment for your company’s needs.

Cons

They keep updating new features and at times this can be annoying. However, I think that’s pretty standard when it comes to software. They all need to upgrade one way or another.

It works, but not well.

I had constant issues with people being unable to connect. EVERY time someone needs to log on or become an admin they need to install a plugin, unlike may other platforms where this is only required once.

Pros

Relative ease of use, and excellent customer support.

Cons

Errors, problems, and connection issues were common.

ReadyTalk is a Wonderful Program for Webinars

Pros

We uses ReadyTalk so we can take the trainees through a webinar. This gives you the opportunity to learn at your own pace and schedule. I find this very advantageous due to my busy schedule. The software also features audio/video conferencing and live chats. I’m glad we have ReadyTalk so I can take up trainings whenever I need one.

Cons

Sometimes the sound quality can be choppy but it also depends on who the speaker is. The speaker who was doing the training in one session had a very soft voice and I could barely hear her.

Easy to use for webinars and video conferences

Some other programs you have to call in for the webinars because the connections through the computer isn’t great. Not this one

Pros

Easy to use system when attending video conferences or webinars. It’s a short process to sign in and you don’t need to download.

Cons

I would recommend this, I've never had issues using it

You can connect anywhere

Pros

I usually use go to meeting. That has been my go to program. Recently one of companies we work with use Ready Talk. I was not in my office and the meeting was last minute but I had my phone with me. I was surprise on how user friendly the program is and my favorite on how easy to use with my phone. I was sold after that.

Cons

The cost was a little to much for us. We did get one of our board members to fund it for the first year so I am excited.

Good enough tool for collaboration

Pros

An intuitive dashboard for audio/video conferencing; other features such as screen sharing and file sharing make this software comprehensive. The customer support is available 24/7 which is cool.

Cons

The integration of conference details to Gmail calendar is a hassle. Competitor conferencing software such as WebEx, Zoom and Skype performs better jobs respectively as they run smoother

Good Tool but needs improvement

My employees are happy because they can "work from home"

Pros

It is very user friendly and it has the desktop app to facilitate meetings in different geographical areas. Any employee can join from any part of the world. It also has an automation feature reminding the people in advance of scheduled calls.

Cons

I cannot share my screen without the opposite person installing the plugin. It maximises its potential in only audio and needs to improve otherwise.

Inexpensive Webinar Tool. Has all the Basics.

Hosting Webinars, integrating that data into Marketing Automation. Hosting recorded webinars as if live.

Pros

It's has all the basics you'll need to get started with Webinars. The integration into Marketo generally works but could pass in more data around time spent in the webinar in a way we can action. We use their illuminate tool for recorded webinars with also generally works well.

Cons

Their illuminate product is good for recorded webinars but has its limitations. There is no Q+A, it's all chat only. The chat is public by default, so you'll always need a moderator online watching it.

Chat App

Pros

Fun application and clear and intuitive. Easy to use and doesn’t lag everytime. One pro it hs over its competitors is its low RAM requirements. It’s faster than other chat apps.

Cons

I believe that the app’s design might need a little work but that’s is definitely not enough to demotivate the purchase of This object.

Okay but not AWESOME

Pros

The basic features of this program work okay. It allows different people to be in different locations and all jump on a call, which is the best feature.

Cons

Need some updates to fix some issues, like the web meeting, long up load times, etc. I think it could be a really good product just need some improvements.

Extra feautures are helpful!

Pros

We really liked the ability to upload slides and have a moderator on the call to support us and help people log in. The private meeting room for speakers before the meeting started was also helpful. The customer service is really good!

Cons

Our users always had issues signing in. Everyone is so use to gotowebinar and online audio. Readytalk prefers people to call in so our webinar attendees were often confused. Also they didn't have the plug ins installed. If the platform was more adopted it wouldn't be an issue.

Overall a great product

Overall I am quite happy with the product most of the time. I would recommend it.

Pros

Relatively easy to use, has lots of features, and meets our needs. I really like the meeting management portion for the fact that I can invite people very easily into an already existing call.

Cons

My international constituents are frequently confused by how to log into calls - we seem to have challenges with participants from all countries with almost every international call. It is eventually resolved, but seems more cumbersome than I would expect. Also, the gmail calendar integration struggled in the most recent g-cal update (Q4 2017 or so). The integration of automatically inserting call information into the appointments went haywire for awhile, and which was especially challenging since it was the end of the year and we were setting up all of the reoccurring call times for 2018. It has been resolved now, but was a major source of consternation for a time.

It works really well for us

Pros

I like the functionality of it and how we can interact with the software. The recognition that you are on the call and don't log in through your computer is great. Better than Skype.

Cons

I don't have many cons for it. It seems to be a great options versus Skype. We have lots of trouble with Skype so this has become a great alternative.

ReadyTalk has made our webinar services much better

Pros

This software is easy for our webinar attendees to join and participate. Since it is web-based, they can easily join from anywhere with no downloads required.

Cons

Additional features would give this product an edge. For example, it is limited on creating one webinar event with multiple times.
