Vonage Business Solutions Software


Vonage Business Solutions is a cloud-based communications solution suitable for small and midsize companies. The solution offers a business phone system that enables businesses to connect their VoIP phone system to internet-enabled devices and communicate via text, over the phone or via video conferencing.

Core features include call announce and screening, multiple devices on a single extension, do not disturb settings and more. Calls are managed through the admin portal, where account managers can review call recordings, set up dialing restrictions, adjust dashboard visibility for employees and view billing information.

The Vonage Business Solutions mobile app gives users another method for accessing the service. Vonage Business Solutions also offers desktop plug-ins to customize the system. Users can also integrate their contacts from Google, Outlook and customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce.

Vonage Has Been Excellent!

Pros

Vonage has provided us with excellent and clear communications systems for our business. It's been so crucial for us to keep our phone systems clear with clients across the globe and with Vonage we've accomplished just that!

Cons

Initially the fees seemed to be a little bit high but after you really break down what you get for the price, Vonage can't be beat!

No complaints- at all

Pros

I’ve been using vonage for my business for the past 6 years. I started using them in Canada and liked them so much that they were the first company I thought of when I relocated to the States. I like that they give their customers great introductory offers at the start. Thereafter, the rates are fair from year to year. If you want to keep the same rate, all you have to do is let them know of a better offer you have received elsewhere. I bet you they try to match it just to keep you. I love em. Vonage is here to stay.

Best Bang For Your Buck

I would definitely recommend Vonage and will be a long-term customer.

Pros

Very user-friendly and they have excellent customer service reps that will help you with any questions or problems that you may have. Great way to save money without sacrificing quality.

Cons

Power outages and losing the internet is the only issue that we have. Other than that I have no complaints.

Great for a small-med sized company and for call routing

Pros

This software has helped our office out so much with staying connected and organized. We can easily forward our phones when needed and track all of our lead calls.

Cons

We’ve had some issues with our account reps in the past but our tech support guy right now is great!

Great For International Business Comms!

Pros

Vonage has been there for us consistently when we needed it most. I haven't experienced a more consistent provider and will continue to use Vonage!

Cons

The quality is moderate in comparison to Whats App's quality. However, this does so much more so the trade off is worth it!

Good alternative to traditional phone service

Overall great, especially with recently added features such as conference calling via video and group text.

Pros

Mobility is a plus. I am able to operate from a mobile office. The app makes it all super easy. I no longer have to use multiple phones.

Cons

Reception quality relies highly on internet quality and speed. We had to increase our internet to support the number of phones that we had in the office.

Great product for connecting the people. Helps us lot in the business. We want to use it in future if the cons above are are solved at least 50%. Thank you.

Pros

This app helps all the people to access their vonage account at home also because many people from India also uses this app mostly recruiting companies. The app has a great UI which attracts the users to use it on daily basis. The great advantage using vongae business app on phone is that we can read the messages if someone texts us because in the office on dialer phones its not possible.
I really Enjoy using Vonage Business which give us great advantage to connect to people sitting abroad from India. It has a great Voice quality(HD Quality) and we can hear it very clearly very easy to use and options are very easy to handle.

Cons

what do i like least about it? Its the issue of voice breaking sometimes i understand that there is network problem but when i have a great network then also i face this issue. The names that appear when we receive the calls is not the name of the person actually calling us. This is the main issue i face.

Its been alright.

again it works so if you need a reliable voip this would be great its just not a bells and whistles type of application .

Pros

So one pro is that you will actually get phone calls, (had that issue with another VOIP)
you can use this as a desktop application or you can you log on to their site.

Cons

I dont like how the phone rings, it rings very loudly over everything. Which i find really annoying,
its also hard to tell if someone else answered the phone.

Great softphone software

Overall, we do like using this app due to its user friendliness, though I am saddened to say, we are looking for other options.

Pros

It is easy to use when calling our customers. Its voicemail interface is easy to use, no matter if you're a veteran or a trainee.

Cons

The only con I have to bring up regarding this system, involves the softphone app you have to download in order to interact with the web browser version. It this app is not up to date, it can mess with your workflow by not allowing you to connect into the system properly.

Best VOIP service

Pros

The voice quality is great without any call drops. Works as good as normal phone with text features available. The iOS and Android App works awesome.

Cons

Not more than 3 people can join the conference on a single line.

Expansive features but price point an issue

Switched back to our former software for conferencing despite lesser features as price point for our business was going to be a major consideration long term.

Pros

Feature set is extensive, compared to our previous preferred conferencing option. Also, messaging option was useful for keeping everyone updated, especially as some of our staff are based further afield in San Diego and we’re not always reachable for full conferencing.

Cons

Price is expensive considering what we had with our initial set up. Felt it outweighed the feature set.

Good phone service - managing the setup needs a technical degree

Pros

We love this as our phone provider as it is very cost effective and we have few service interruptions.

Cons

The phone system setup is very hard to use - it feels like you need a technical degree! to set ours up I had to have their support walk me through the whole process. Now I don't touch it.
