Windstream Virtual PBX VoIP is a cloud-based phone solution that offers businesses across various industry verticals PBX and business communication features such as auto attendants and voicemail-to-email.

Windstream offers SIP trunking to businesses and allows them to choose from various bundles of applications and services designed to meet the needs of small businesses as well as midsize enterprises.

Windstream is also an Internet service provider (ISP)and can provide managed connections to SIP trunking services over Ethernet, T1 and/or MPLS. This helps businesses to troubleshoot voice network issues by consolidating Internet service providers with SIP trunking providers.

Windstream Virtual PBX VoIP provides features, such as find me/follow me that helps employees to divert the calls to mobile devices when they are not in the office. Businesses can manage PBX features via a self-service web portal provided by the solution. Support is also available via phone, Windstream online application and other online resources.

SIP trunk user

Unfortunately, I can't give a negative number of stars for a review.

Pros

I wish I could put something here. There is nothing I can think of that would even remotely be considered a positive aspect of our experience.

Cons

Support is non-existent. Reps can't even spell SIP (CIP? Really?). Very hard to reach anyone who knows what they're doing. Still waiting after 2 weeks for resolution to what should be simple requests like updating 911 address and enabling international dialing.

Pros

Windstream Virtual PBX VoIP offers easy and effortless prompts when setting up and also manoeuvring through different menus. Setting up vacation messages and or transferring a cold is beyond simple.

Cons

The system has crashed twice in the last 14 months. I am unsure of the reason however, this was only for external calls and not internal.

I love this website for transfering phones

Overall a great website and would recommend it to others

Pros

I love this website for transferring phones! It makes it super easy to transfer when on call from one staff member to the next.

Cons

It takes a while to load. Sometimes it glitches out and says its not available, although that is rare, the loading time for the website is pretty often.
