X-Lite is a VoIP softphone product that is useful for those with high-speed broadband connections or VoIP systems. The solution supports video calls, conference calls, traditional phone use and instant messaging. It also offers features such as call history and call recording.
X-Lite provides technology that enables users to integrate voice, video and messaging across fixed and mobile networks. X-Lite's user interface resembles a normal cell phone with all 10 digits and working buttons, such as mute and redial.
Users can also make use of the address book, which is located to the right of the dial pad for contacting other users.
X-Lite can be downloaded via any high-speed Wi-Fi or broadband connection. The solution works with most SIP-based VoIP services and IP PBXs.
Well, we choose this route to get away from paying several hundred on desk phones. Loved the money saved for the business. Support was fairly good... they have built-in support-log generation.
My goodness did we have lots of bugs trying to incorporate this into our Cisco environment. They did not play well together. Everyone from users, helpdesk, and system admins did not approve of this software.

After a long softphone software analysis, our team finally got to the conclusion that there's nothing like Bria. It makes your phone system 10x easier. The best part of everything is being able to have a high quality phone call, keeping track of your calls on something else then the VoIP software as well and don't even get me started on the ease of use- it's brilliant!
I can only say that the downside of Bria is how expensive every license is. It's not accessible to small businesses.

We use Bria for our call center and is a great software. Easy to use. I love the fact that im able to see which agents are online and taking calls.
instant messaging feature does not work. other than that software is great and works properly to company standards

When I needed to call people using just my computer, it was a useful software that got the job done!
It wasn't the most intuitive piece of software to use, and some of the features were a bit confusing.

It has a robust configuration (You can adjust one or several users at a time), works well if you have new users. The admin can make all of the adjustments on the server side.
Sorry, the only thing that I could think of would be if the cost per license went down some. Then it would be great.
