Zultys MX System Software


 

Zultys offers a line of unified communications (UC) solutions and phone system equipment known as the Zultys MX Series. Unlike IP-based phone systems that depend on third-party IP phones, Zultys also offers a proprietary line of IP phones that fully integrate with the MX systems for a single-vendor communications environment. The MX series can support organizations with 10 to 10,000 employees.

Zultys MX systems support on-premise, cloud-based and hybrid deployments. On-premise systems are available in 50 or 250 user models. Additionally, on-premise systems can be deployed virtually, in which case they can support up to 1,000 users each.

Licensing for Zultys cloud is user-based. Businesses can choose from standard, premium and contact center feature packages for users.

The Zultys MX series offers a number of UC capabilities. The MXIE client for end users integrates presence, email, softphone calling, call control, faxing and video calling in a single application. Contact center features, such as an outbound dialer, are also available.

Pros

I like the ability to have different call groups, so different phone numbers ring different people. I also like the reporting functionality so I can see how we're handling our calls.

Cons

Sometimes the software seems a little glitchy. Occasionally it will just pick up a call without touching the phone or disconnect for no reason.
