Pros/Cons
Pros
- OpenVPN is one of the most reliable VPN solution out there in the market. I like the ease with which i can set it up.
- Our customers are happy because everyone likes a free product which is secure and is easy to implement (hence low labor costs).
- It is secure and especially to access our office servers from home our IT department has set it up and since I am using it I am fond of it. It is really easy and works at an excellent speed.
Cons
- The only downside is sometimes I can not seem to connect to the server. Although it is not always but still it does get a bit irritating.
- To set up is difficult and requires quite some technical know-how before it can be installed and configured correctly.
- I get to access data that is quite a distance from me maybe with slow internet, but i no longer have to be on site to access our companies servers.
Pros
- This software offers a free plan with 10 GB of monthly data, which is fantastic. It helps to get experience of the service before committing to a paid subscription.
- Windscribe offers a great amount of features and a solid, reliable service for the price. I consider it the best valued VPN on the market.
- It was super easy to use and did the job. I tried out several different services and this one impresses me.
Cons
- Often, disconnecting and reconnecting the VPN works, but this can be frustrating.
- Having bought the software purely for the VPN features, the added extras bought in are a little confusing - maybe some more descriptions and instructions for these.
- This feature, at times, can fail to connect to the closest server but this typically happens when using a mobile device that is consistently connecting to different cell towers.
