  • Pros

  • Easy implementation, good REST API interface, easy to create backups and DR systems with this product.
  • Easy to use, friendly, efficient. Rubrik understood how backups should work and how to simplify IT Team's tasks.
  • Cons

  • Limited reporting built in to the system and not much report or audit customization availible. Also lackluster RBAC implementation.
  • Missing a few features, many of them are legacy, but still missing. Every release gets more features.

  • So easy to deploy... its OVF, assign IP and you are ready to go... so so so simple.
  • The easy to use interface and to see how many hosts are affected by a particular bug/issue. The ability to group issues into categories.
  • Cons

  • Unfortunately it's only for a VMware environment, nothing for Hyper-V or Xen.
  • Product keeps either losing creds or some other issue, as it periodically loses connection to various vcenters. Sometimes the interface can be overwhelming.
