Beautiful web to print software with an unbeatable price point

We've implemented PitchPrint for our web to print store for over 1,800 design templates. It has not only revolutionized our process of releasing new designs to our library, but also has given us a unique edge over other trade printers in our industry.

Pros

The best thing about PitchPrint is the ease of use experienced by the end user. Even clients that have minimal experience with layout software can easily navigate the PitchPrint interface.

Cons

Color management between screen and PDF output has proven difficult. Also, the rendering of fonts between the editor and PDF output can be problematic.

Reasons for Choosing PitchPrint

PitchPrint was sleek, had a solid team behind it, and was available at a much better price point than the former vendor.

Reasons for Switching to PitchPrint

The former product was very clunky and incredibly expensive.

Great product configuration software! So many possibilities...

Our company has used PitchPrint to allow customers to customize products (sign and banners, etc) through our eCommerce site which was managed by another company. We are currently in the process of redesigning the site under our own management and have decided to keep the pitchprint plugin since there's literally no better looking plugin available.

Pros

The end user interface is the most polished and user-friendly I was able to find. The back-end is likewise easy to navigate and use.

Cons

The one feature I would like to have added is the ability to add multiple layers to a design (print, non-print, etc.) and be able to arrange those layers in any order. There are some designs that we can not show using the plugin because of this.

Reasons for Choosing PitchPrint

Much nice user interface - more intuitive, minimal/non-cluttered. Many options for different types of products. Customizable.

Not perfect in everything, but with extremely great design features.

We are actually very satisfied with the program. Despite minor flaws, we think the designer is good and has lots of great functions. It is also constantly being worked on and bugs fixed, which is very good. Support is always there immediately, especially in the case of direct errors.

Pros

The "clickable image mask"with own made svg-datas is one of the best thing we use.

Cons

Unfortunately the cooperation with prestashop is not perfekt. In some times it shows all saved designs from the customer in the order - that can be cunfusing for us. And we had to compare all pdf´s with the designs - whether this was exported identically.

From budgetprint.lv

In general, it is satisfactory. In those few cases, when support is needed due to some glitches, in most cases it is instant.

Pros

Our online shop customers use it, and I would think that ease of use would be the best feature. Because most people are not designers and are not tech competent. Our customers have said that it is easy to use and don`t have to bother with people contact, and can use it in any time of the day. Also it`s easy enough to make default design templates which customers can use afterwards.

Cons

Sometimes exporting PDF print files there are some issues (with colors or fonts) but usually they are solved quickly after we inform customer support. At the moment there is no option to use design tool for custom product sizes (as in if customer want to make a design for their own size, it can`t be done at the moment). Also perhaps having some kind of a ruler would be nice and customers could see actual size of the product easier. Exporting PDF is very quickly, but exporting PNG or JPG is very slow for some reason.

Would recoomend

Overall I'm very happy with PitchPrint, it's perfect for what we need it for.

Pros

Once you get used to it, it's very easy to use. It has just about all the features we need to satisfy our needs. Support is very friendly and always do their best to solve any issues.

Cons

I would like to see more video tutorials for setting up the software and tutorials on each of the features and what they do and how to implement them.

Reasons for Choosing PitchPrint

PiytchPrint offered the most bang for the buck and it was best suited for what we needed in a web to print software.
