The viewing experience, down to the colors of the room and the custom domain, all point back to our brand. Featured actions work well and really help to engage our audience. It's incredibly simple to create beautiful, simple registration pages with minimal effort and the waiting room makes for a great attendee experience. We also love that you can pre-load materials into the room for less stress day-of!It's obvious that the Banzai product, sales, success, and support teams are all invested in developing a great end-to-end experience for customers and they're extremely receptive to feedback...I _especially_ appreciate their public roadmap. #### Cons The biggest friction points for my team are as follows (and to Demio's credit, their team continues to invest heavily in correcting these issues, some of which are already better since the summer): 1. Performance & quality: This sometimes result in laggy, lower resolution streams (replays, especially)2. Overconsumption of RAM: To compensate, we use Firefox rather than Chrome (the latter being our preferred browser) to run live events3. Somewhat difficult to manage Q&A: We'd love to see the option to "claim" a question when there are multiple moderators attempting to answer chat or Q&A with written responses. This would ensure that we avoid duplicating effort. As far as I'm aware, this isn't a feature available on any platforms at the moment, but would really make a huge difference when it comes to managing large events with a high volume of chats. #### Reasons for switching to Demio We needed a platform that we could better customize to our brand and better engage our attendees. Demio fit the bill, while remaining competitive in price. We used to use Go To Webinar and had issues with every broadcast. Demio wins not just because of ease of use but also because of their fantastic customer support - they really do care. Easy to deploy, customize and use. It can be customized and integrated with your website without intrusive logos. All colors can be adjusted to your brand. #### Cons No subscription would allow you to have all the options you may want (like an automated webinar) for a smaller audience. If you need those options, you need to pay for a much larger subscription which you may not need. No incentive was offered Unfortunately it has gone from very positive to extremely negative... exacerbated by the fact that the customer service/billings team have simply gone radio silent and ignoring our request for this to be reviewed. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 4/5 - Value for money: 3/5 - Customer support: 1/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros The software was simple to set up and offers a fully browser-based solution. We enjoyed the platform for a few short months which had great features for engagement. Unfortunately poor customer service has left us a very bad taste in the mouth, and shows Demio as a platform that does not care about its users or retention. #### Cons - Technical glitches during the broadcast - every time a presenter muted it would switch sound/speaker settings for the other presenter and some of the audience... which meant they could no longer hear the presentation. - The biggest con is the customer service. After a decision to temporarily pause our account due to trialing out an alternative software (though with the intention to return to Demio), we asked if it was possible to pause our account and keep everything active so that we could return. The customer service agent advised it was not possible unfortunately and to cancel the account instead. The account was canceled immediately, but it was already 1 day after the bill for that month had come out. Despite this, the billings team let us know kindly that "All sales are final" with a redirect to illegal sales terms and conditions claiming that consumers are NOT entitled to a 14 day cooling down. It is a real shame and pure unethical to see platforms that do not have a care about retaining their customer relationships or loyalty, and instead treat them as just another sale (even if the goods/service were not actually delivered). #### Reasons for choosing Demio We wanted to support a smaller organisation and try something different. Sadly they disappointed. #### Reasons for switching to Demio Poor & unethical practice. Illegal terms and conditions. Two main problems were that the presentation's complete formatting used to get corrupted after loading it on Demio. Never happened with Zoom. Anyone can easily figure out how to use and customize the webinar rooms. They also offer better features (customize registration page and add logo or background, customize automatic emails, can send replay links, PowerPoints/handouts, call to action links, polls, public and private chat boxes, etc). We have rarely had any issues, and if issues do come up it’s usually something we can troubleshoot on our own. #### Cons If we had to pick something that is our least favorite, it might be that the platform is not supported on Internet Explorer. Very useful to check if everything is working well without answering to my audience or checking my phone to get an answer... The customer service is the best I have ever known! They helped me figuring out how to upload my slides, answered ALL my questions in a very short time, and were really kind. Demio is super user friends, clean, modern, and full of features that I never even considered needing or using for my webinars, live events, and coaching calls. It takes all the fuss out of trying to set things up by allowing you to duplicate events, schedule series, and use on demand as well. I am extremely satisfied with their newer features like 6 LIVE guests capability. I am so grateful for their flexibility in pricing and overall features. Thank you! #### Cons At first I was a bit disappointed that only 2, then 4 people could share the camera because I host LIVE events and needed more flexibility. Now with 6 camera usage, his will be very seamless and professional for me and my summit attendees. Usint this platform does not have any complexity, when you start using it you will be able to fully adapt to the creation or programming of webinars for some dates, in addition, it is quite easy to integrate new participants for each webinar and also send invitations for some people. Demio helped me a lot in my work area, it allowed me to hold quite extensive meetings without any kind of limit in the elapsed time, in addition, it allowed me to enter many participants in each webinar, which helped us to share information with a larger audience. Demio has excellent ways to get in touch and constantly communicate with the participants, you can carry out various surveys, voting with expiration time and you can also send questions to the participants and view the answers in real-time, in addition, live chat allows attach files, send emojis, attach images and have a fluid conversation thanks to real-time chat. In addition, Demio allows the integration of roles and multiple hosts, this will be really useful if any user needs help in managing a Webinar. Demio has everything that any user is looking for to have a stable connectivity in a Webinar. #### Cons Demio does not have wide availability or device compatibility. Its web version works perfectly, but it would be great to be able to use downloadable Demio app, this would help so that you don't have to use the browser to start a Webinar or schedule it for a certain date, it would be great to be able to use Demio from my MacOS computer without make use of the Safari browser. Another of the problems that can be found in Demio is that currently it is not possible to share a specific window on your computer with the participants; if you want to show something specific on your computer, you will have to start screen sharing and all participants will be able to see everything on your computer, that can be a bit awkward. #### Vendor response Hey Eolimary! The webinar recording is automatically available to my clients. #### Cons Lots. The service is totally based on your Internet speed. I have fiber optic Internet speed, which is about as fast as it gets. And every time I have an issue, the company still tells me that it's due to my Internet connection. This is all they ever tell you as an excuse. It's never their platform, it's always your Internet. Also there's just not a lot of features that the other big webinar services have. I have seen many tools gicing such integrations. #### Cons This tool doesnt have several features. Like in some computers it shows up that you can share specific window screens. But in some computers again it doesnt let you do that. You only got to share the entire screen. Thats so painful in a webinar. You cant turn off the chat. They dont have an app for windows like Zoom. Zoom is way handy. Most importantly, it consumes hell lotta internet bandwidth. Note, I am not talking about the internet storage, I am talking about bandwidth. Where Zoom is way better and a way light weight tool. Like, while testing the connectivity, it will show you the connectivity is excellent. But while being in real time it will show up it is poor. That is painful. Also you cannot pause your screen like you do in ZOOM. you got to disconnect it completely. Again painful. I continuously connect and disconnect, do you think that is something a trainer or host would prefer. Like ZOOM would even load when the network is slightly slower. But demio doesnt give a damn, the webpage will not load itself, it would keep loading forever. Although it is ok in most of the cases, but ZOOM is way better in this coding aspect as well. I reached out their customer support team with very specific questions about their technology and where it was hosted - because of several bad experiences I had with other companies. Their team responded quickly and provided every piece of information that I asked for. I really wish there was a pay wall option either PayPal or Stripe. Having to use Zapier is not convenient or ideal. #### Reasons for choosing Demio Aside from a payment integration, Demio offers all of the features that I need at a reasonable price and they do it with US based staff who are responsive, and very helpful. #### Reasons for switching to Demio I tried all three of those solutions. WebinarJam was honestly too confusing and I did not like the user experience. WebinarNinja and ClickMeeting were horrible to deal with. WebinarNinja had all kinds of tech issues and extremely slow response time to service requests. They are based in Australia and I am in the US which didn't help with the communication. I had to file a claim with my credit card company before I was able to get them to refund my money for an annual membership. ClickMeeting offers a free trial but doesn't tell you that it is limited in features - specifically you can't try the payment features until you set up a paid account. I paid for an account only to find out that their PayPal API was broken. This company is in Poland and again - the communication was slow and painful. #### Vendor response Hi Joe! Its platform is incredibly easy to use and very pleasing to look at too. A lot of other webinar platforms are very dated. A major plus for me (because I wanted to set up automated and evergreen webinars) was that Demio allows you to upload your video files directly to it. Other platforms I found force you to do a live recording and use that as your evergreen webinar. Either that or link an existing YouTube or Vimeo video which looks unprofessional and jarring in a webinar environment. #### Cons There are a few things I feel are missing from Demio. One is being able to send a replay link to people who attended on-demand or evergreen webinars so they can watch again if they missed it. Another is having the times listed when users register be visible in their local timezone. You can only set a timezone right now. So if you're in a different timezone to the person registering, they would need to work out the actual time of the webinar based on the time-zone displayed. Having said this, Demio have brilliant support and when I flagged this with them, they added it to their suggested improvements area. You can then 'vote' for changes you'd like to see. I’ve never had any issues with it, and my show up rates have all been really good. I also cancelled my recurring webinar tool because they added recurring automated webinar. They are constantly improving the product too, each month coming out with new things.
