I wish when we create our email blast (which are very beneficial) we could have more flexibility in the graphics. There is also confusion on why the phone number is different than our normal number. We went from a painting company that lived on referrals to one that shows up on page 1 of Google and gets regular quote calls from Rockford and the Stateline area. They took the website and marketing off my plate, talked to me like a contractor instead of a marketing department, and delivered jobs I can point to—including whole-house work that started with a website call. The business has almost doubled, and the schedule is more predictable than it used to be. It took time to ramp up, and we still have to answer the phone and do the work. I also like that I don’t have to run the marketing myself. I paint for a living. They explain what’s working in plain English and handle the digital side. The payoff is on the schedule: better leads, weeks I can barely keep up, and a business that’s almost doubled since we started. That’s the part that matters. #### Cons What I like least is the wait at the start. Getting the site and Google visibility built doesn’t produce a full calendar in the first couple of weeks, and I wanted to see calls sooner. You also still have to pick up the phone and close the estimates yourself—Hibu brings the leads, they don’t paint the houses. Neither of those is a deal-breaker. Once the rankings kicked in, the volume made the ramp-up worth it. They helped us create a website that not only looks professional, but is user friendly, and provides such an important tool for our customers to see our portfolio, learn about our company, and educate themselves on why they might need our services and how that works. Our customers use this website to make a good decision for themselves on masonry repair work and new construction. What is even better.....is that Hibu then coupled the website with a campaign package that has pushed our company to #1 in the services that we are targeting in our service area. When a potential customer searches for the services we offer, we are not only on page 1, but at the top of that page. Before HIBU, we were wasting so much time on leads that were spam, and not specific to the services that our residential masonry company offers. We were fielding concrete leads, landscaper leads, and commercial masonry leads. Now, with HIBU, we can hardly keep up with the number of estimates for all of the specific leads.
