Easy to use landing page that captures leads. Easy to integrate with other CRM management. One page.

Generating leads is the core business. First year I've been doing this for the Fitness niche. So getting them new members & now I'm helping employment agencies gain new employees.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The best feature of Leadpages is the ease of use. People without really any knowledge about web development or landing pages could get one up and running within the first day/week of using this software. With the big template library you can surely find a landing page that fits your needs. Leadpages gets the job done quickly and easily. Best beginner landing page builder in my opinion.

#### Cons

The only con I really have for Leadpages is that you don't have that much design freedom. For a beginners and someone that aims to create a simple landing page this is awesome. But for more advanced users and page builders as myself I sometimes miss some features that make my design come to life.

#### Reasons for choosing Leadpages

Clickfunnels was to expensive for my liking Builderall is really cheap for the features you get, but not as intuitive as Leadpages.

### Rigidity and Disregard

I recently had an incredibly disheartening experience with Leadpages, which I feel compelled to share to forewarn potential customers about their questionable business practices and overall lack of empathy towards clients. My journey with Leadpages took a turn for the worse when I attempted to cancel my Pro Annual subscription. Expecting a prorated refund for the unused portion of my service - a fairly standard practice in today's customer-centric business world - I was met with a cold, inflexible stance. Despite my reasonable request, and having paid in advance for services I no longer intended to use, Leadpages outright refused any form of refund, hiding behind the small print of their Terms of Service. The response from their support team, while polite on the surface, revealed a deeper issue within Leadpages' culture: a fundamental disregard for customer satisfaction and fairness. Their insistence on sticking rigidly to their TOS, without considering the context or fairness of the situation, was both disappointing and frustrating. The interaction was an eye-opening insight into a company that prioritizes policy adherence over customer relations and fairness. Furthermore, the cost of their services, when compared to other options in the market, is exorbitant. This realization only added to my dissatisfaction, making it clear that Leadpages is not only inflexible but also overpriced. The refusal to consider a partial refund, even when such a request was made well in advance and for legitimate reasons, speaks volumes about their approach to customer service. To add insult to injury, the final communication from Leadpages was an impersonal rejection of my request, devoid of any genuine attempt to understand or accommodate my situation. It was a clear message: Leadpages values its policies more than its customers. This experience has not only led me to cancel my subscription but also to advise others to steer clear of Leadpages. There are plenty of other services out there that value their customers and understand the importance of flexibility and fairness in today’s competitive landscape. In a world where customer feedback and satisfaction are paramount, Leadpages' rigid and uncaring approach is a stark warning to stay away.

I am solving my email marketing problems with Leadpages. Also, my brand awareness. When I create a lead form I know that it has a greater chance at converting because of Leadpages professional features and forms.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The product is easy to use. Leadpages integrates with my business and is able to keep up with the growing demands of running and online business. It is easy to integrate with Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics and I appreciate that they are always updating their service.

#### Cons

I think the fact that you can only integrate with Stripe when it comes to creating a checkout pages has really limited my using this feature to sell products. I would like to see them integrate with Shopify one day.

#### Reasons for choosing Leadpages

I thought Leadpages was the easiest and more seamless when it comes to creating landing pages that convert for my business. They are also the less expensive of the two for me budget wise.

#### Reasons for switching to Leadpages

Sendlane didn't have updated features like Leadpages. The customer service wasn't as knowledgeable as leadpages and I feel like leadpages cares about keeping things up and running for my business and that means a lot!

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Cons

the price could be better for what you are getting. when i had it-the low tier was 50 dollars canadian, and i think you could only build 3 landing pages, then you would have to get the next tier feature if you wanted more than one landing page.

We are working on several new initiatives and need a quick and easy way to capture leads and drive traffic to a dedicated page that is easy to set up and update by anyone in the team and replicate to adapt to different use cases or new languages

#### Ratings breakdown

Leadpages is easy and intuitive to use, so simple to set up a page in a matter of minutes and as customizable as I need it to be. For someone who is impatient, this just works!

#### Cons

Takes up so much RAM, so it can slow down my computer when I use it. I'm on a MacBook Pro, so I can't imagine how it would run on slower Macs. A Mac app would be great to make "offline" changes and then commit later?

#### Reasons for switching to Leadpages

One of the best features about LeadPages is that we can have one up and running in an hour! We bypass development, which translates into weeks of lead time savings. With LeadPages, we can have a new campaign live within the hour. Often, speed to market is the underlying success of a campaign—and LeadPages delivers. Not only do we save time, we also save BIG in development dollars as we typically have to outsource a quick turnaround campaign. Additionally, I have never had to call for support. The few times I have had questions, I found ansers on the support site.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I've tried several landing page vendors and LeadPages meets all my needs. FInally, a tool designed for (and maybe by!) the end user, instead of an engineer. It's so easy to use, whether I design from scratch or use a template. It integrates with my email program and with GA, providing the most important success analytics and also an excellent guide for A/B testing. They have so thoughtfully included many conversion tools such as opt-in texts. LeadPages is thoughtfully created for the success of the user.

#### Cons

Although I have mastered the design aspect of LeadPages, I still wish it were easier to size different parts of the layout/design, but its grid model lends itself to being, well, modular. I can still create a beautiful landing page, but I'll never be able to start from a blank canvas. I realize LeadPages has to allow for responsive optimization, therefore understanding the need for a modular template. I'm not complaining about this—I'm just saying...

#### Reasons for choosing Leadpages

Until I began employment at this company, they had never used a landing page tool. Given that I was the lead on securing this tool, I had experience with InstaPage, LeadPages and HubSpot. Before I began research on the project, my bias was LeadPages, as it is clearly the easiest to use and the one with the most widgets, tools, plus it costs less than Instapage. Using HubSpot landing pages as a stand alone tool, just wasn't good—but it does shine when integrating it with all the marketing tools Hubspot offers. Given my previous experience with LeadPages, it is what I chose for my company.—no ramp up time except for the latest upgrades they added. Truthfully, LeadPages or Instapage would do the job. My [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was happy that I saved the company money and I was happy having a tool I could use right out of the box.I came to the conclusion Instapage and LeadPages are a toss up in terms of what each can deliver. Instapage has the design flexibility I like.

Beautiful landing pages that are way easier to make than I could do on my own.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

Everyone loves Leadpages, right? When you think about good looking landing pages, Leadpages is who comes to mind. Gorgeous templates, easy drag-and-drop editor, integrations with WordPress so you can host your pages on your site, and for the more expensive plans you can integrate Stripe products and payments. Which leads me to what I don't like...

#### Cons

I'm frustrated that the coupon functionality with Stripe doesn't work in Leadpages. I use coupons as a way for other bloggers to sell my events, and I track their usage by who used which coupons. It's not the most sophisticated way to do it, but it works. But even though you can make coupons in Stripe, the functionality isn't supported in Leadpages. So I upgraded, and paid the extra so that it was a smooth experience for customers, but when the coupons didn't work I had to change. My workaround was to put a Shopify Buy Button on the landing page, embedding the html code. It's not as pretty, but it works.

#### Reasons for switching to Leadpages

I love the idea of Thrive Themes, but it was honestly getting a bit too complicated. Leadpages is much simpler. Of course, you pay extra for that, but in the end I think it's worth it.

#### Pros

I like the overall appearance of the leadpages. I like that it can be used with facebook but have not tried this part of the software.

#### Cons

I've been paying these guys per month for several years now for just one leadpage. I never call their support center. I called to inquire about sales but had to leave a vmail and the response I received came to my email below... "Phone support is currently only available to Advanced Subscribers, as we just don't have the staffing power to provide it to everyone. More about support options here: How to Contact Technical Support" The fact that I was actually calling about sales and I can't speak to a real person is frustrating. Furthermore I work in engineering with software and even I found it difficult to figure out how to do basic things with their platform. Its like they have all these ideas but their engineering team doesn't take the time to consider how the features will flow on their UI to be intuitive. The system is so complicated that it requires for you to upgrade your plan to receive phone support for them to help you. There are companies like mailchimp that don't even offer phone support however the difference is they offer a simple mail template platform, however leadpages is way to difficult to use and in return not offer phone support. Bottom line is they treat their lower plan users like 2nd class citizens unless you pay them a high amount monthly, they will probably give you the same kind of support I received. I'm currently looking at other leadpage solutions I found on google and found a couple cheaper options that offer phone support.

### LeadPages helped explode my business

At first, I wanted to implement decent-looking 2-step opt-in forms, where users could click a link and bring up a pop-up. In 2014, that was surprisingly challenging to do. I've scaled back from that strategy and the extra javascript leadpages loads, but still use the software to host several one-off landing pages, custom thank-you pages / digital product sales pages, and even a custom 404 page.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

I was a reluctant LeadPages customer in 2014, but it turned out to be a great purchase. Within 3 months, my email list had tripled. Within 12 months, it had 12x'd. It was a big inflection point for my business. I like the pre-built templates (always easier than starting from scratch), and how fast it is to build pages. There have been a few issues of down time, but overall it's very reliable. I recently started testing the countdown timer and Stripe integration, which has been a cool new way to sell digital products.

#### Cons

Mainly the price. I'm always tempted by other landing page builders on AppSumo, but at this point LeadPages has the SaaS tentacles wrapped around me pretty tight. It would take a lot of work to undo it and switch to another tool.

I used to love LeadPages, until I moved on

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

LeadPages were the first to focus on speed, the first to introduce sms optin, and the first in many features all their competitors have or are adopting. And we've used them for years. Until we found the design limitation and the focus on marketing look too limiting a factor. Because people don't want to be marketed to, but want to be informed about. with LeadPages all the landing pages look like a marketing collateral, and the changes are hard to make. and limited too. Making it almost impossible to have something that people actually want to read, watch or listen to. Instead of being forced by the same old FOMO tactics used by many, but not working anymore.

#### Cons

All the pages made with LeadPages look the same. You can spot on of theirs a mile away. And they all look like what marketers would do (which creates resistance form visitors) instead of looking like high value articles & blogs (that remove friction form users).

Most people will use this landing page builder and enjoy it, but if you like to control every detail of your page, you might find it a bit lacking for the price. It's a solid tool, and much easier than coding a page from scratch!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Value for money: 4/5

#### Pros

If you are brand new to using landing pages, this is a very easy tool to use. You can create a landing page or pop-up box in a matter of minutes.

#### Cons

Honestly, I found it pretty impossible to customize my pages exactly how I wanted. The software isn't set up to enable customizing little details. You have to be okay with just building a page using the blocks they give you. If you need to do further customization, you have to call customer support, and although they are helpful, they don't really give you options for repeating something in the future. So, you have to call them every time. (Teach a man to fish...) For the price you pay, I think you should be able to customize a bit more than you can.

#### Pros

This is a great solution for many companies and entrepreneurs. The price is better than other options and they boast a large template library. Additionally the platform works with a lot of various integrations and that makes it very attractive. Yet still, I cannot warm to this platform.

#### Cons

I find the builder to be clunky and not easy to manipulate designs and placements. It is a very old style and feel to the builder and does not have the responsiveness I have come to expect. I have tried to like this platform multiple times and just find it in need of some updates and a fresh user experience. I also find the pricing a bit off putting. The monthly plans are considerably higher than if paid yearly. I get the reasoning but why not earn loyalty by trusting your product enough that you don't have to discount a one year contract and stick it to a monthly plan. Some of us are startup mode and need cash flow. Loyalty is not earned over price but in Service and impeccable products.

Terrible company. Stopped using the service for ages and they kept charging me for 10 months. They are really sneaking and they have bad business practices. They didn't even notify me (or email me) that I was getting charged. I had not idea they were taking money out of my account. I believe (in my opinion) that this is a tactic so you just let charges slip. The website service is basic and pretty amateur. You cant' design anything good with the site. Stay away

the service let's you get a basic site done with no code.

#### Cons

they have questionable billing practices. They don't not notify you when they charge you

#### Vendor response

Hey Nick, As a company, we have always strived to be upfront and fair with our billing practices and have complied with legal requirements. That being said, after further review, we have determined that in regards to monthly subscription billing reminders, the standard industry practice is simply not good enough and does not align with our company values. For that reason, beginning July 1, 2021, we will be sending monthly renewal reminder emails to our customers. Our mission is to support the growth of small businesses and the well-being of entrepreneurs. We acknowledge that our previous billing notification policy may have fallen short of that purpose and appreciate the opportunity to better embody our values and serve our customers. Thanks for your feedback! Our Best, The Leadpages Team

### Easy to use and a go-to recommendation

This instantly improved the conversions for our lead generation offers, and we've used it in both lead gen and sales capacities. It's one of my go-to recommendations for business owners who want to take squeeze page and landing page creation to the next level, rather than just having "just another page on the website."

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

From the beginning, Leadpages was easy to implement, and it integrated comfortably with our CRM system, Infusionsoft (that was really important for us). When I first started using it, I relied on the templates, which were fantastic and produced great results for us. As we grew, Leadpages added a drag and drop builder that hit our need for a greater level of customization. What I really appreciate having is pages built on a system that I understand and that aren't coded from the ground up. It means we can scale easily and aren't tied to a particular web developer.

#### Cons

The most annoying part was that you could "hide" sections on templates but you would still need to fill out the action set for buttons that were hidden. And if you didn't set up the actions, you couldn't publish the page. That was frustrating.

It's a great piece of software! It really is! But is it worth the asking price in this day and age where there's so many great alternatives that do it for a fraction of the price?

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 2/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Leadpages is the easiest lead generating add-on for any business. It's super simple to use, has a lot of design options and conversion stats, and also gives you a lot of templates so you never feel lost. Building landing pages is super easy. What I like about Leadpages is that it really defined what a good lead generating platform should look/feel like. It's a really solid product.

#### Cons

Leadpages has become really expensive for what it does. I've been recommending to a lot of my clients to switch to something that can do what Leadpages does but at a fraction of the price. What it was doing was a really novel thing a few years back, it's now become the standard in many other platforms. For example, Divi, the drag-and-drop visual editor for Wordpress - has a leadpages-esque opt-in component built right in... and it's part of the package!

#### Pros

Leadpage is a good landing page builder. It is a drag and drops tool. Here I can easily make high converting landing page within minutes. I can add many types of functions like popup, Alert bar, for high conversion. You can make a simple website with a free domain for 1 year which is perfect for beginner marketers or businesses.

#### Cons

While is using it. Its price is far expensive compared to Getresponse because it also has similar features. Hope they will drop their price so other people can use this fantastic product in their business.

#### Vendor response

Hey Bimal, We appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback and are glad to hear you had a great experience with us! Thanks for being an advocate of Leadpages! Our Best, The Leadpages Team

It's a good deal for what you get.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Before Leadpages, if I needed a landing page—especially one that was built as such to convert leads—I would have had to go to my web developer and get in his queue. That would take as long as a week. Now, I can pop one out in less than an hour and have it integrate with my CRM without any help from anyone else.

#### Cons

Once you understand the platform's structure and how it works, it's pretty easy. There were some frustrating moments in the beginning from not immeditaly understanding how things worked.

#### Reasons for choosing Leadpages

Great value.

Leadpages makes it really easy to stay organized and sort though our numerous landing pages. The platform is fairly easy to use and very good user experience.

#### Cons

This tool could use some form of tutorial and better customer service.
