I have always created my Websites with WebsiteX5 Professional from version 8 or 9 onwards. Once I tested a different product and came immediately back to WebsiteX, because the frequency of updates supporting all features that arise in the market are promptly delivered from the programmers of WebsiteX.

The software is well structured and has good documentation. A great choice of templates and 3rd party objects make life a lot easier. You are guided through 5 steps of the creation of the website until you can upload it onto your hosting space at your provider or even today to WebsiteX own hosting.

Before the upload process, you can check your website for errors or missing details. Here would be more explanation needed, to better be able to fix those arising issues.

I made 4 web sites with it and all are still online, even though they are not responsive sites. It took me a few months to get used to it but it wasn't difficult and if you are very creative, it can turn out very nice sites.

Earlier versions were relatively simple to use and could turn out professional looking results. Current versions offer much more and create sites compatible with smartphones and tablets but they are not so intuitive as the previous versions which has forced me to stick with a very much outdated version, even though I kept paying the annual license fee for the latest releases.

It is very buggy and the company is slow to address issues, if ever. Their usual response is that they will solve it in the next release but that will be a year later thereby forcing you to pay for the software again. Although the company will reply to support tickets, they push you to ask other users on their community forum first. That is not necessarily a bad thing because other users care more than the company itself. I have been an X5 user for 13 years now but only because I am used to how it works and even then I have had to stick with version 11 which is over 10 years old (as Incomedia like pointing out every time I open the program). Despite my use of the program, I would not recommend it to anyone because unless you are good at programming, you will find yourself in need of their optional templates and modules. It's like being sold a vehicle and then being told the seats, gear stick, steering wheel, etc. are all optional extras. These you have to buy but, instead of charging a fee for them, Incomedia force you to buy a pack of credits. If you do so, you will always be left with some and, even though they already have your money, they make your credits expire if not spent within a year. This is pure theft. The software is extremely intuitive and can be personalised with code programming knowledge. The team behond the software is constantly working on the software to make it more and more suitable for users. Plus you have hundred of templates to choose from; many of them have a complete site already done for you I'm a professional way. Plus there's a huge multilanguage community to exchange ideas, tools and help from other customers or from the website team it's self.

The ecommerce area is good but it's fixed in an engine inside the software so it's not really customizable for some particular feature.

I have used this tool to demonstrate to clients with no web design experience who wish to create websites for themselves how simple it can be. The interface is very easy to get to grips with and you can start for free with a trial version of the software with limited resources available. The basic paid version gives a reasonable amount of functionality and resources and can get the uninitiated a website built fairly quickly. There is a professional version of the application which removes most of the limitations from the more basic version. All of that said, there are alternatives on the market which provide a similar level of functionality to the Pro version of this application for the same price as the basic version of it. I would only recommend this package to anyone with absolutely no experience of web design whatsoever.

I've done a 180: from wanting to chuck it, I've grown to really enjoy using it and the relative freedom to be creative. I cannot speak to using a template as I ended up developing my own, but there are many available both free and for a fee.

Good functionality. A lot of features, and a lot of control. I love that it has screen responsiveness (resizing for phone/tablet/desktop) built in. Also the built in FTP manager makes uploading super simple.

Steep learning curve, not very intuitive. Sometimes figuring out why it won't do what you think it should can be time consuming but once you 'get it'... you're good.

Bei jedem UpDate gibt es Fehler und die Merkt man erst wenn man das Projekt, welches man noch bearbeitet hat vor dem Software Update, dann bearbeitet. Denn dann sind schnell mal alle BILDER, DATEIEN, PDF-DATEIEN,etc. weg und nicht mehr Vorhanden. Da sieht man dann anstelles z.B. des Bildes - ein schwarzer Rahmen und innen oben links am Rahmen hat es dann ein Rotes Kreuz. Wo eigentlich das Bild, welches man vor dem Software Update hin zugefühgt hat. Einfach nicht mehr da ist und ebenso wenig in der IWZIP-Datei gespeichert ist. Sowie in der Web-Datei, noch in der anderen Ressourcen-Datei.Dies ist mir bis jetzt zwei (2) mal Passiert und dies mit einer Webseite die ungefähr 3500-4000 Bilder enthält und etwa 12 PDF-Dateien enthält.Ich musste jedes mal von Vorne beginnen und jedes einzelne Bild auf dem Externen Laufwerk suchen und auf den PC verschieben und dann an der entsprechenden Seite einfügen.Vor zwei Tagen ist es mir dies ein drittes (3) mal passiert. Ich werde die incomedia Lizenz umgehend Kündigen und einen anderen SERIÖSEN Anbieter suchen und die Webseite erneut von Grund auf neu aufbauen. Wo Hoffentlich keine Bilder, Dateien, bei einem Software UpDate vom Webseiten Anbieter einfach so Verschwinden.Für mich hat es sich mit incomedia erledigt. Die sind genau so schlimm, wie die Italienische Mafia. Nur incomedia ist nicht aus Palermo sondern Turin.

Sehr gut sind die vielen modernen Vorlagen inklusive Parallaxe-Effekt, Lazy Loading und mehr, mit denen man sofort loslegen und diese in wenigen Schritten wunschgemäß anpassen kann. Insgesamt ist WebSite X5 eine ausgereifte Web-Software zum relativ günstigen Preis und definitiv zu empfehlen.

In die Webdesign-Software muss man sich erst etwas einarbeiten. Das System ist aber recht schnell zu verstehen und dann profitiert man einfach von dem Vorteil, keine Ahnung von Programmieren, Suchmaschinenoptimierung oder gar vom Konfigurieren eines Webservers haben zu müssen. Eine passende Vorlage ist schnell gefunden und kann dann relativ einfach sogar mit kostenlosen Bildern angepasst werden, um einen einzigartigen Webauftritt hinzubekommen. Besonders toll ist auch, einen gut funktionierenden Onlineshop in recht kurzer Zeit umsetzen zu können, ohne noch weiteres Geld in die Hand zu nehmen. Auch ein guter Hosting-Service mit Webspace, Domain und E-Mail ist über ein selbsterklärendes Online-Control-Panel integriert. Man muss sich praktisch um nichts kümmern und kann auch kaum Fehler bei der Erstellung einer Website oder eines Onlineshops machen, denn das lässt die Software gar nicht zu. Nach Veröffentlichung der Website lässt sich diese direkt auf dem Desktop verwalten. Ein wichtiger Aspekt ist auch die laufende Aktualisierung der Software, wodurch man immer auf dem neuesten Stand und für alle modernen Anforderungen gewappnet ist. Gerade am Anfang ist der große Funktionsumfang trotz der in fünf Schritte unterteilten Vorgehensweise etwas erschlagend. Ganz ohne Einarbeitung und dem Lesen einiger Anleitungen kommt man nicht sofort zum Ziel, auch weil manche Features nicht intuitiv zu finden sind und teilweise ihre Besonderheiten haben, an die man sich erst gewöhnen muss.

Negativa in assoluto! L'assistenza funziona poco, non danno retta ai suggerimenti dei clienti, ad ogni aggiornamento succede un casino, una cosa funziona altre 10 no. L'uprade che danno annualmente fa pochi ritocchi,spesso inutili. Lontano anni luce da altri software come WP (che uso regolarmente). Web site è adatto per siti web vetrina di rappresentanza. Per siti complessi devi essere esperto in programmazione.

ottimo per il sito della parrocchia molto gradito dai fedeli.Mi piacerebbe fosse più compatibile con Word: bisogna importare senza formattazione e rifare tutto daccapo. Non mi soddisfa molto l'oggetto audio di una pagina. Non mi funziona mai sul sito come vorrei

la facilità dell'uso che rende più agevole la costruzione del sito.Un po' faticosa però la fase di impostazione del modello responsive. Non ho capito sempre bene come farlo anche se l'intenzione di rendere i sito fruibile per i vari dispositivi al trovo ottima.

Non è un CMS, quindi occorre avere il programma installato sul proprio computer con sistema operativo Windows (su Mac si può usare tramite Bootcamp, Virtualbox, etc) per poterlo usare.E'indicato per siti web di piccola/media dimensione.Non occorre conoscere HTML e CSS per creare i siti web, ma la loro conoscenza è utile per chi vuole ottenere qualcosa in più, dato che si possono sfruttare i codici extra per sopperire ad eventuali mancanze del programma o per personalizzare ulteriormente la grafica e le funzionalità.E' indicato anche per gestire, in proprio, piccoli ecommerce e blog personali. Se fate SitiWeb per altri va bene solamente nel caso in cui il cliente non voglia farsi in proprio gli aggiornamenti, poichè per qualunque modifica (alle pagine, al blog, all'ecommerce) è necessario avere il programma. Quindi, ripeto, il progetto/sito/ecommerce/Blog NON è gestibile senza il programma.(per questo motivo 4 stelle, anzichè 5)L'assistenza viene data tramite Forum online, dove c'è oltre all'assistenza diretta di Incomedia, una gran partecipazione di utenti propensi ad aiutare il prossimo.

Alcune funzionalità non sono ancora sviluppate a pieno, ma solo in parte e quindi limitate per certi casi (dati strutturati ad esempio).Anche se si riesce a creare un sito web da soli e velocemente, per avere certe personalizzazioni, occorrono codici extra.Non essendo un CMS, è indispensabile il programma per gestire ogni modifica al progetto, gestire il Blog e l'ecommerce.

Interessante solo per iniziare a progettare siti web, con strumenti semplici ed efficaci in particolare sotto l'aspetto dell'indicizzazione delle pagine. Ormai lo trovo un sistema piuttosto superato, con limitazioni legate allo sviluppo per mobile e ai requisiti attuali.

Semplicità di utilizzo, interfaccia di gestione e strumenti di indicizzazione molto efficaci, genera pagine veloci e leggere.

Ormai obsoleto, limitato e poco orientato al passaggio da desktop a mobile, difficile ripristinare da vecchi backup.

Complessivamente la mia esperienza con WebsiteX5 è altamente positiva. Ho potuto creare siti web professionali in poco tempo, facilmente gestibili e facilmente modificabili anche graficamente, restando al passo con i tempi grazie ad aggiornamenti e plug-in sempre nuovi. Dopotutto è un software che consiglio sempre a chi vuole realizzare in autonomia dei siti web professionali, anche avendo poche nozioni tecniche per farlo (aiutati da un comparto di "consigli all'uso" davvero ampio e di facile comprensione).

Facilità di utilizzo, interfaccia chiara e funzioni complete che permettono di lavorare rapidamente a 360° su un sito web dal punto di vista grafico e tecnico con risultati professionali anche per chi ha poca dimestichezza con la grafica e con i codici di scrittura. Ottima l'assistenza e ottimo il comparto dei "consigli all'uso" per il migliore e corretto utilizzo delle diverse funzioni.

Se proprio dovessi cercare il pelo nell'uovo direi che sarebbe positivo durante la creazione della pagina avere un comando "torna indietro" (e corrispettivo "vai avanti") nel caso si volessero ripristinare vecchie impaginazioni di funzioni nella griglia durante tentativi e applicazioni di funzioni che non dovessero convincere durante l'anteprima.

Semplice da usare risultati fantastici e veloci assistenza sempre pronta e gentile nel risolvere eventuali domande. Insomma x5 è il top del mondo

Besonders dann, wenn man sich bzw. das eigene Unternehmen mit einer modernen professionellen Webseite belohnen möchte, man aber dennoch seine Hauptzeit lieber in das eigene Kerngeschäft investieren möchte. Überzeugend sind die erzielbaren Resultate und die dazu zur Verfügung stehenden Möglichkeiten bei gleichzeitig sehr einfacher Bedienung.

Die umfangreichen Möglichkeiten, um eine moderne Webseite zu erstellen kombiniert mit der Einfachheit und der gut zugänglichen Bedienung.
