I have been able to track issues before they could happen and it had been really useful during incidents #### Cons The recent AI recommendations are sometimes not very useful. When a query is slow obviously the first recommendation would be to add indexes. For some reason the AI recommendation system does not check the indexes before recommending. To an engineer who doesn't have admin privileges to the Database, these recommendations might sound confusing and they would create tickets which gets marked as Won't Do #### Reasons for switching to Datadog We took a survey on used features from pganalyze and realized DBM had similar offering at similar prices. We did a trial with 5 instances and found it useful.
