### Most mentioned pros

- Divi by Elegant Themes is hands down one of the most powerful and user-friendly WordPress themes and page builders out there. Whether you're a beginner looking to build a website without coding or an advanced developer wanting flexibility, Divi delivers in a big way.
- I have been a user since 2019 and subscribed to the VIP support service, which, even though I don't use it regularly, has more than paid for itself because when I have got into trouble by changing something I shouldn't have, they've been there to put it right for me very quickly.
- It works and cuts down my time to build websites with premade templates and community layouts etc.

### Most mentioned cons

- Spent over 100 hours to get a fundamental grasp on this uber complex building system and the overal confusing ecosystem of Elegant themes and started to understand but still unable to create the website I needed.
- Even when I requested the VIP customer service to try and sort out the myriad of problems with this system, it kept putting me with thier chat bot that would give incorrect info.
- I'm sure if you use Divi already, once they are actually out of beta with all the glitches then you will be pleased, but for the rest of us I would steer far away from a system that is FAR beyond the average user from a company that really only seems to care about keeping your money with no accountability for their product.

### Divi VIP Support is fast, precise, and reliable!

Overall, Divi has been a strong platform for building and managing WordPress sites. It lets me move fast, keep designs consistent, and adjust layouts without rework. When I do hit an issue, VIP Support has been top notch, which turns problems into quick fixes instead of long delays.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I use Divi for WordPress sites where I need speed, flexibility, and full control over layout. The visual builder is easy to work with and really speeds things up. The biggest standout is VIP Support. The support team responds fast, reads the details, and stays on the issue until it is actually resolved. They do not waste your time with generic replies. When something is urgent, they treat it like it matters. That alone makes Divi a strong long-term choice for client work.

#### Cons

Some updates can introduce small quirks, especially when you have custom CSS or third party plugins in the mix. It is rarely a deal breaker, but I always test changes before pushing to production.

#### Pros

I really like Divi because is a fast WordPress theme, is well made and gives a fast experience. It has many templates to choose from and Divi builder is easy to use and customize the design for my needs. Another think that I like was it has its own builder so i saved some money on buying a website builder plugin.

#### Cons

Divi builder is not that versatile and has many options like Elementor.

#### Reasons for choosing Divi

From my point of view Divi was a little better.

Incredible really...I learnt how to build the site intuitively and easily, without needing to read many articles or conduct much research at all. And their customer support is quite simply outstanding.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Exceptional value for money. The best investment I've ever made in a product for my business. Their editor is intuitive and easy to learn, and their customer support is absolutely outstanding. Their team help you promptly, and address complex technical challenges with ease.

#### Cons

There aren't really any cons...just a few areas where they could make some minor improvements in order to streamline the interface...but they're already working constantly to improve it. I've installed two updates since I began the site. So, there aren't really any issues.

#### Cons

Love it, I have used elementor and gutenberg and Divi supersedes them by far. It is easy to use, but very powerful. It may seem simple but that is the great thing, you have the power of complete control all within a user friendly interface. The only page builder you should use. [sensitive content hidden] also recently helped me on support, she made my life simple and handled it better than any other support service out there. No long wait times or useless links to documents that won't even help you. Support makes using it and learning how to use it to its full potential effortless. I have never been unhappy with divi.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The versatility of the product allows you to make anything you can imagine. Integrated perfectly with all the proper plugins. Support is incredible, never waited too long, very friendly and very efficient

#### Cons

None - but not all plugins support it, but I think that is a negative aspect of the plugins

#### Reasons for choosing Divi

The price solution for divi makes so much more sense, especially since it does everything and more than the other block builders. It is a no brainer

#### Reasons for switching to Divi

The functionality to create designs like I was using graphic design software on my website wasn't there, or it was too complicated and time consuming

Perhaps not easy to use "out of the box" per se, but very easy indeed to get started with the support of an experienced "Getting Started" in-person and/or online service provider who encourages DIY development.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Cost competitiveness; Awesomely efficient support technology and people. (Well, the screenspace of the support chat could be increased for use with 4K displays, but who's counting :) )

#### Cons

Almost nothing (I had to jump over a version release once, but that wasn't a big deal)

#### Reasons for choosing Divi

Primarily because I prefer to "own" all my data, maintain local copies and backups, and restrict server side content location to our preferred service provider (currently VentraIP); and be able to relocate without hassles if and when required.

#### Reasons for switching to Divi

The current version (v21.4) is getting tiered -- it hasn't been updated in 3 years. But even before that there was no comparison with the growing plethora of easier to use tools. Even further back (mid 1990s++), I edited html files in a text editor(e.g. vi). Funny how it seemed cool a the time. Nevertheless, I still use Dreamweaver for content "under the hood" (not public) of some sites. The best of all worlds.

To begin with, Divi is pretty straightforward to get started, but the more I use it the more I realise I don't know. This is nothing against Divi it shows what a great tool Divi is and the many features and functions there are. I do know that most of my cons above are because I just haven't learnt how to do it better so there is a learning curve and a lot to learn but I love learning it - thank you to support for your continued patience.I do love using Divi it's so diverse and I can offer my clients so much.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I love the variety of the functions and the flexibility of what I can do. I didn't realise how good it was until I tried to edit an old website on an old builder. The flexibility with Divi is amazing. I love the awesome support. No matter how little a question someone always takes the time to answer my question. Knowing I have the support is an absolute game changer for me.

#### Cons

I think the drag and drop, moving elements and resizing could be a lot easier. At the moment it always seems to work better if go into the module and adjust the spacing (it's a bit slow this way but I get better results). I also feel like the ease to make a website mobile responsive needs to improve. I am getting faster but it still takes me more time than I want to spend on it to adjust the design across desktop, iPad and mobile.Things like transform is a great function but if I use it on a desktop it upsets all of the spacing and causes major issues with mobile optimisation so I am kind of like what's the point of this function ( I only use it for mobile if I really need too now). I would love it if the H1, H2, H3 sizes could be set for desktop, ipad and mobile in the themes options right from the start. It's a pain changing every module. I know I need to create a global setting but it would be so much easier if it was in the theme options.

#### Reasons for choosing Divi

At the time it was definitely the price

#### Reasons for switching to Divi

I switch because of all the themes Divi offered. Now I use Divi as my builder and build a lot of themes from scratch. Divi was an unexpected surprise and gave me more than I could imagine. It's awesome

Using Divi Theme you can create modern websites very quickly. The price of the theme is reasonable for the offered functionality and the licensing policy is very moderate compared to other themes. Therefore, I can still recommend the Divi theme for most websites.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

When I first tried the Divi theme, I was very surprised that it doesn't require writing a single line of code to create responsive layouts. What I often had to painstakingly create directly in CSS can be done with Divi without even knowing what CSS is, by simply using a slider. There's no more backend where you have to paste shortcodes (and don't you dare forget a bracket!). You work directly on your site in Divi and see your changes immediately. This is a really big advantage compared to before where shortcodes were used or other page builders.Just clicked the wrong button and the layout slipped? Divi has an Undo function that lets you undo your last changes with just one click.Divi comes with a variety of modules. So you can easily add images, sliders, icons, texts, price lists, videos, newsletter forms, galleries, countdowns and much more to your site. Additional plugins are not necessary. This offers the advantage that your site will not be slowed down by a multitude of plugins.

#### Cons

Updates don't always seem to be tested very well by Elegant Themes - it has happened quite often that after an update some smaller things didn't work anymore. Or the new functions work for simple use cases, but cause problems in detail. The Divi backend (the Divi Builder) still feels very sluggish even after the latest performance improvements to the frontend. Working especially with longer pages often becomes a test of patience even with potent equipped servers ...

#### Reasons for choosing Divi

in 2015 I just was intuitive. I didn't realize how it developed that successful, because easy to work with

I loved the flexibility, the ease with which it can be operated, the ease with which it can customized, the ease with which it can set up.

#### Cons

Perhaps a feature that I would like to see is eLearning. I know that there are several LMS's - but I feel that that would be an added feature which I would like to see the Divi team develop as the world is turning more and more to online learning.

#### Reasons for switching to Divi

Avada has too many issues. Customization isn't good. Responsiveness isn't good. It's honestly a nightmare to work with (no offence Avada!)

Excellent overall. I've used Divi for years in a great variety of projects.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Integration with Woocommerce, ease of use both for my design needs and for allowing non-designer clients to understand and use Divi, attention to detail and generally a solid experience while also avoiding too many offerings and bloat. Support is essential too. I rarely have problems with Divi, but, when I have, support has been mostly fast and definitely above and beyond expected level of resourcefulness and help.

#### Cons

Divi is not very lean and tends toward slow loading both front and back end, though it's not terrible most of the time. Even after Divi's recent update to only load scripts and other code as needed, it wasn't noticeably faster. Some features in Divi are too basic. Example are sliders and galleries. Their adequate at best and have few features to offer flexibility. The worst part is the proprietary nature of the builder. When clients no longer want to use Divi, it's a long-haul manual affair to extract content from Divi and into another theme (though I have no clue how that can be streamlined).
