They are also really good at listening to the customers needs and altering the program to meet these. Ratings Breakdown 3 Ease of use 3 Value for money 5 Customer support 4 Functionality Pros: At a basic level of just writing and updating job notes Vintrace is easy to use. It is also really well set up when you are viewing a product to look at all the different aspects such as lab, composition and additions. Cons: The new vessel search feature is a bit ugly and not the easiest to use. It can be annoying when it keeps clearing the search if you go into a product and then come back out without clicking on the correct link. I probably only use a small percentage of it at the moment and would like to know all the possibilities I have available. Ratings Breakdown 2 Ease of use 3 Value for money 2 Customer support 3 Functionality Pros: I've only started using it less than a year ago. It wasn't necessarily easy to get used to it, but once you start using it on a daily basis, it becomes a real tool and helps you keep track of your wines and jobs. Cons: The helpdesk could be more interactive. I struggled learning how to use it and the assistance hasn't been great. I would have liked a bit more guidance from a Vintrace staff to help me get my head around it and gain some speed. Reasons for switching to vintrace I have worked with Vintrace before and know a lot of people who use Vintrace in their wineries and know it's a very good software. For example, automatically tying an additive or operation to a price and automatically showing up on the invoice. Also, analysis tracking has been useful. There are some aspects that are less helpful with the way our custom crush billing is set up that makes it difficult to use vintrace. Overall, a good experience (once you learn the system.) But plenty of room for improvement. Ratings Breakdown 3 Ease of use 3 Customer support 4 Functionality Pros: There are many capabilities that may or may not be utilized, depending on how in depth you want your tracking to be. The system can track everything from wine compositions and gallons and equipment and storage and dry goods inventory and costing all in one place. You may choose to use all or only some of the functions which makes it pretty versatile for different business models. Cons: \- Unable to perform topping from more than one topping vessel at one time. - There is "time-tracking" of labor for completed work orders, but not a way to export this data in a manner in which beneficial to track labor costs. Generating reports from this data would he helpful. - CSV files generated are not very "clean" looking. I always have to do a lot of reformatting in order to be able to send a clean looking excel report to clients and other staff. - Client logins where they can generate their own work orders for custom crush would be a plus. Easier DMA data uploading adds way more points which we have been waiting for 5 years. Mass data uploading is also a great help. Cons: Would have been good to add function to email/in-system notify someone say winemaker if result is abnormal. Or options to choose to be notified or to track specific tank if someone else update the result which is in high importance.
