A Simple to Use and Indispensable Process Management Tool

I'm using Flowster mostly to document processes which have a lot of moving parts to them, and in which the details matter a lot. An example is how I am creating icons as images for my blog and digital products. I'm working on a Flowster template which will show others exactly what to do, so that I can finally delegate this process without worrying that a critical step will be forgotten. First I need to select a suitable icon in one program, then download it as a certain file type ready for importing into another program. Then I need to add a particular outline to the icon, in certain colors, and add a background (circle or square depending on the use case) and then add another, different outline to the background image. I need to replicate this process using different colors for the same icon and then I need to upload the set to my blog at a certain size using image optimization software. It would be very easy to forget to do something along the way - but having it documented in Flowster and being able to check off items as they are completed, makes the process consistent and reduces errors, no matter who is doing the work. That's the joy of Flowster. As I get to grips with everything Flowster has to offer, I've had a few questions. Their support team has been fast and answered everything with plenty of detail to keep me moving forward. In short - a very positive experience and I'm now planning to completely integrate Flowster as part of my business documentation.

Pros:

I think I may be falling in love with Flowster. For the first time, I have a way to document how I do everything in my business so that I don't forget the processes, and so that I can teach others how to do what I do, too. That's a tremendous time saver - not to mention efficiency-booster. I love that it was easy to learn how to use the software. And it just plain works. I don't have the patience to learn complicated new programs. Flowster delivered a fast, smooth onboarding experience which had me up and running in no time. A huge plus for me is that I can send workflows of my processes to others to work on. If something changes in the process, I can just update the template and then everyone with a workflow is automatically updated. That's a headache-saver right there. I've only just scratched the surface of possible uses for Flowster. I haven't been using it that long, but I can already see that it's going to be an integral part of how I work from now on.

Cons:

There is a marketplace for Flowster templates which has a lot of potential (Flowster owners can sell their own, original templates on the marketplace, too), but so far it's not offering the detailed level of templates that I'm looking for. The Premium templates (for which you need to pay extra) seem to be better though. The templates can be used to jumpstart documenting a process, but they're not critical since I'm going to want to document my specific processes from scratch anyway.

Documenting all the User stories how the system modules work

Pros:

As we are using this for all the User stories of the modules, so whenever we are having new joiner in the team or someone from the existing team has to work on different module, then can simply check on Flowster in the related User Stories how system works, Which is really great and ease of work.

Cons:

I wish they can add a the read only feature, which is really a very helpful, when we want that others can see only but can not modify it.

Cons:

One of the best pieces of software for automation

Overall I'm really happy that I discovered Flowster - I can already see the benefits that my business has received from such an easy to follow SOP software. I've got more time to focus on my business, rather than answering questions by new staff or having to update the systems and processes in different places all the time.

Pros:

Even before discovering Flowster, I had SOPs and lessons housed in spreadsheets and google documents. However, they were cumbersome and hard to maintain - especially with a remote team. However, since transferring all my SOPs over to Flowster, maintenance of my business' systems has never been easier. I love how easy it is to create the SOPs from scratch. The user interface is easy to understand and navigate, which makes it more appealing, because now I can delegate the SOP creation and maintenance to one of my employees!

Cons:

It would have been great if Flowster had an import or migrate function to import my SOP's that I already had in existence. As tedious as this can be, it did provide me with the opportunity to review the SOPs for any improvements. It is also a little bit too easy to begin editing the template of an SOP without meaning to. Maybe if they had a different screen with a different theme format that indicates you are editing a template (as opposed to a workflow), then it may help to avoid such mistakes.

A foolproof system for your business

I love Flowster. The team and product are amazing. Any time I've ever needed support, they are very fast to reply and are super helpful.

Pros:

Flowster makes it super simple to organize and create standard operating procedures. This makes it virtually impossible for your employees to skip steps while working on specific processes because they just need to follow the step-by-step instructions (with checkpoints along the way). It has made my team work much more efficiently

Cons:

Overall, I think the product is great but there is still some room for small improvements. I'd love to see the option to have see certain fields auto-populate based on previously completed fields within a workflow.

We are also about a week away from releasing the ability for users to embed workflows on their websites so they can use them for a variety of use-cases that include lead magnets and data collection from clients.

It's a little pricey if you add on additional users but for a single user, it's reasonably priced.

Pros:

Creating SOP's has been a critical piece that's been missing in my business for a long time. I am now able to fill the need with Flowster. It does it flawlessly and they partner with other business owners that create SOP's as well so you're left with an empty canvas.

Cons:

What I liked least has nothing to do with the software. It's the fact that I need to hire someone to create my SOP's for me!
