Easy to use, feature rich environment. Competes with the big players at a fraction of the cost.

From a cost/value perspective cDevWorkflow wins by a longshot. Pros: * The product is easy to use. Our requirement was to have BAs, not developers, building processes. Many BPM solutions out there claim ease of use, but don't really have it when you test it with BAs. It's also easier to install than many of the products out there. AgilePoint, for example, requires a huge infrastructure for a small install (if you don't use their cloud product). * Customizable. APIs are available that let you do almost anything with this product. Further, you can build custom steps and types without the help of professional services. AgilePoint, K2, and Skelta are the other major .Net players with rich APIs that support embedding - each of which fail on the ease of use metric. Additionally, AgilePoint doesn't have many customers that embed, Skelta typically does their own integrations, and K2 requires a lot more upfront work to create predefined SmartObjects. * Feature rich. They have built some useful administration features that often are missing from the larger players. For one, you can go back to a prior step with the data that existed at that step. This is critical in any organization. For example, a user has a "yes", "no" choice task, they often pick the wrong answer by accident and want the workflow reset. This is possible through admin functionality. * The customer service is very good. They have extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Cons: * The rules engine is pretty basic. You have the flexibility to write whatever rules you want, but there isn't much management over creating those rules.

Great automation product with potential to be improved more (which is happening).

Using it to automate a wide range of current cumber sum processes throughout our firm. My only current concern is the lack of European timezone support. It often takes approx 18hrs to get a reply from any tickets raised let alone a resolution. This often means loss in dev productivity which everything stops awaiting a solution. That said, Once the ticket is picked up, support is great!

PROS

Makes it really easy to realise your automation goals and improving efficiencies throughout company. Easy to visualise, build and understand/present workflows to non developer project team members. Very stable product with low overheads for basic/medium use.

CONS

There are a lot of basic built in steps but not enough built in steps to do everyday functions yet which means over reliance on building custom steps. Can be a hindrance and extra cost for firms/companies without the resources at hand.

Reason for choosing FlowWright

Recommended by a trusted software supplier (Trinogy). Also combination of direct support from FlowWright and via Trinogy.

Great product at a great price

Application extension! The sky is the limit when you can trigger intelligent workflows from within an application and subsequently receive outcomes; all in real time. Having a product like FlowWright turns problems on their heads! It reaches so many problem spaces, you're now spoiled for choice with the selection of challenges you can tackle!

PROS

Ease of integration, architecture, functional suite...

CONS

a) Not enough ETL capability b) Repository must be SQL Server

Reason for choosing FlowWright

Affordability. Ease of use. Ease of integration. Top notch functional suite. Perfect match with our development stack. It works!!

Reasons for switching to FlowWright

There are a few reasons: 1) Price point - the team at FlowWright listened to the challenges we shared about the Caribbean-market's limitations and the economies of scale. They were willing to help us narrow the gap between wanting / needing advanced solutions and actually affording them.
