Pros/Cons
Pros
- Overall, my church and I have been very pleased. Customer service has been excellent, and the product itself runs great.
- Very easy to line up a programme faster and the Youth team has loved to contribute and involve by themselves without any pressure from leadership, which is very welcome.
- Love the functionality and ease in which Proclaim software makes our Worship Presentations. The quality of visual templates is amazing.
Cons
- Does have a problem with lagging and constantly wanting to update which cause a slow down in production.
- Only thing I can think of is the timing of upgrades...there have been times it decides it needs to update on Sunday morning. Which for a church is the worst time possible.
- In some cases the software upload time is frustrating.
Pros
- We love the ease of use. It's interface is so simple, we have 10 years olds that operate the computer for our Sunday service presentations and they love it.
- Overall, I’ve been pleased with our experience. When we’ve had issues (and their haven’t been many), we always received courteous and helpful responses from the SlideDog team.
- Ease of use and great animations. Good for creating flowcharts and detailed animations.
Cons
- Inconsistent with other software. I had a computer go down or have trouble a couple of years ago ad they offered nothing but deactivate.
- It was difficult for me to integrate the use of my phone as an external camera.
- The other option which I understand would be very difficult to do would be to be able to add things while the show is running.
