I used Cubase for my albums and mixtapes also My team managed to do the whole process from recording to mix and mastering by using this software .
PROSThe tools and the features that allow you edit , trim , cut ,add sound effects and VSTs also having a nice integration with other plugins and software make this software to a gigantic music factory for all the music lover s and producers .
CONSJust the price since I live in Turkey and converting USD to TL cause a big heart attack for me .

The best DAW for my Compression needs
In overall, Cubase has enough if not over enough powerful features with large number of menus, panels and options. They can be intimidating for new users but well worth to experienced hands.
PROSI prefer Cubase for post production work. It has stood the test of time and has kept getting better over time. I mainly use it from evening out the levels of individual instruments, adding punch and sustain to a guitar or vocal performance. Quite a versatile tool for compression work. The Compression in Cubase offers a wide range of settings such as threshold, ratio, attack, release etc which can be adjusted to achieve the desired amount of compression. It is offers a lot of flexibility and control. There is a real-time display of the input and output levels which allows me to visually monitor the effect of the compressor on the signal. The compressor additionally includes several different types of compressor algorithms with unique character and sonic signature. A lot of options and variety to choose from. Above it all, the compressor is integrated into the DAW’s interface, making it easy to access and adjust settings without having to switch to a separate plugin or software.
CONSOne of the main reason why I use Cubase for post production, besides its capabilities, is the annoyance it able to bring due to its constant crashing and failure to recognize some of my MIDI devices. I gave up on this front and delegated it as a post production tool.

A Powerful Audio Recording Software!
When I first started my journey as an audio engineer, Cubase was the first software I used until I switched over to Pro Tools. While I don't use Cubase any longer on a consistent basis, sometimes I do need to use it for certain projects, and must say it has come a long way since I first started using it almost 20 years ago. The program now is much more streamlined, looks better, runs better, and has more features to compete with Pro Tools and the rest of the DAWs out there. I would definitely do your due diligence if you're considering Cubase, as for certain cases this may work best than for some users. Overall this is a great product that should definitely be considered!
PROSThe thing I like most about Cubase is the user interface and overall layout. I find this to be easier than most of the DAWs out there. Another major perk with Cubase compared with other DAWs is the scoring and music notation capabilities, which are much better than most. There is a ton you can do with Cubase, and once you get the hang of it it's really just as powerful as any DAW out there.
CONSWhile I wouldn't say I dislike this aspect of Cubase exactly, I would say that when compared to Pro Tools, Cubase does fall short in it's editing and tracking capabilities. It's not so much a knock on Cubase, but Pro Tools in my opinion is the most superior DAW in this sense.

the best program for music editing
very good and I will continue to use it without a doubt
PROSCubase allows you to include any VST and use USB instruments or record with sound cards on different channels at the same time. It is very compatible and uses the resources correctly to be able to reproduce and record in real time in almost any condition.
CONSSome VSTs have not worked correctly for me and sometimes if the devices are not connected from the beginning they may fail to detect them. ASIO support is not good but not cubase's fault. It is quite expensive

Cubase from producer
I have tried that for some months and than swapped to FL Studio just cause it's way more common and easier to find some good tutorials online and cause i've started with that one. My overall experience with Cubase can be good cause it has all it needs with a professional look
PROSCubase is, compared to other music production software, one of the easiest to use and have a medium price. Easy to set with your instruments and good for live producing with your instruments
CONSCubase is a bit more professional than other more intuitive software like FL Studio for example. It can be a cons for beginners but can be a plus for experienced producers

Cubase is the best, period.
I've used the software for the better part of 30 yrs, and it's my go-to sequencer above all others. I just love it.
PROSThere is nearly nothing that can't be done with Cubase if you're a recording musician, engineer, etc. If you can dream it, Cubase can get you there.
CONSThere are so many options and so many ways to get where you need to go within Cubase, that I believe this specific fact turns some away from the software. Thankfully there are lower tier Cubase options than the Pro version I have used since the early 90's.

Better and better with every upgrade
Working with plugins can be challenging with most DAWs. My challenge was always how to map and control both internal and/or external plugins with a midi controller. I use both Keyboard & korg controller. Cubase Focus quick controls have greatly made this easy and gone beyond just mapping…. The quick controls offer the ability to control various plugins and I am able to do custom map the controller very easily. Additionally, now I am able to use the same plugin mapping when i load it on another channel without the need to remap the controller. Awesome!
CONSFor some reason I have never liked scrolling horizontally in Cubase. It always felt a little mechanical and don’t make a mistake and forget or misplace the dongle. I am glad that upgrading cubase helped address most of my issues.

Reason for choosing Cubase
Maggiore disponibilità di tutorial e documentazione online.
Reasons for switching to Cubase

Reason for choosing Cubase
Familiarità con il prodotto, compatibilità e risultati sicuri.

Reason for choosing Cubase
I really haven't given enough time to studio one yet, but looking forward to it.

Has everything I need and more
Definitely positive, really good learning curve, and in the bottom line it really helps me make music.
PROSGreat MIDI editor, easy to install plugins, lots of really good guides, both the manual and online tutorials, sn a lot of really useful stock plugins.
CONSThe update pricing not reasonable in my opinion, as upgrading from version 10 to 11 cost the same as upgrading from 5 to 11. Also, sometimes projects take a while to load, but I guess that happens in all DAWs, and depends on the computer recourses and specs.

Overall, CUBASE offered me more flexibility in mixing and mastering. Routing individual channels to groups and sending effects to a desired channel is stress free.
PROSVocal recording and editing is easier in Cubase compared to other DAWS. The default presets are a good starting point for every mix as it gives me an almost accurate settings from EQs to compression.
CONSProgramming beats takes longer time. And the metering sometimes doesn't translate the actual levels.

I used Cubase LE for several years on my PC. I was happy with it until I learned about other options that were available at affordable prices.
PROSCubase LE came packaged with an interface I purchased. I found it easy to pick up and find shortcuts. It was the first multitrack audio software I worked with on my personal computer. There are plenty of tutorials and tips for using Cubase available in print and online.
CONSThe features were limited unless I wanted to spend a good chunk of money. It took up lots of memory when running and crashed my computer a couple of times.

I switched to an easier to use DAW.
PROSIt’s got some good plug ins. It Does what you need to do when you get it working.
CONSReally hard to understand and setup audio busses and the program really doesn’t remember your choices. This program works well for industry pros who have had years of training. I tried to use for a year or two with little luck. Tech support is not good for the free version. Which is understandable.
