I've been a daily user for over 15 years and it's been rock solid when system requirements are observed.

It is very Stable ,always current and updated compatibility , Performance and UI customization.

Program was great and the quality files produced were amazing. If it wasn't so expensive, I would have been thrilled to keep it.

It’s hard to navigate especially for a beginner user.

Ve been using PT since it required proprietary hardware, and I’d say it’s improved a lot since then.

Plus you have to continue to pay a yearly upgrade amount to get access to your files after the first year.

The editing capabilities are great and my favorite is the rooting system. Close to analog style mixer leads to more precise mixes i believe.

I've been using Pro Tools since 1998. And even though I favour Steinberg Nuendo as an audio post DAW, I do love working with Pro Tools when it's required for jobs.

I dislike the fact that some of the shortcuts are hard to use and memorize.

I have spent ridiculous amount money on third party plugins and some of the stock plugins like D verb and 3-7 band EQ stand up in the mix better.

It is an easy over dubbing tool used to dub your audios faster than other softwares that i have used before. I have found good quality of recording on this tool in comparison to other tools.

It has a decent learning curve compared to other DAW's. It's not technically harder, just a bit more confusing to learn.

A good layout, great features and shortcuts, and it lets you do all you need once you put in the time to learn it.

Pro Tools has a lot of useful feature to help you get the job done. It comes with a good amount of very useful plugins to get you started.

This could be daunting to new user because even as a B.S Audio Production I get confused myself from time to time seeing that I don't use them much.

Detailed editing and comping is the most accurate of any DAW that I've worked with. The built in free plugins are also great and worthy of use in real production situations.

I love that they upgraded the free version to allow collaboration. It's great that you can also purchase more storage by paying a monthly fee currently at a flat rate.

You are so busy with Pro Tools in their mechanic complicate system that you forget and no time to spending in your commercial projects of your music.

I have worked with Pro Tools for a number of years and it is the industry standard and a must know if you want to work in the music business. It is a great program overall.

ProTools earned the reputation of being the best DAW for a reason in the 90s and 2000s, and it’s still one of the best.

You don't necessarily need to spend more money on third party plugins like waves bundle etc unless you so wish.

I have used the software for a short time but I have found it very useful and it has allowed me to do a better quality work.

Import audio features uses many formats including mp3 which makes it easy to use different files as a part of my projects. Very flexible with the ability to choose your bit depth and sample rate.

Now I use it primarily to edit, mix and normalize podcasts. Over the years, Pro Tools has stayed effectively the same version to version, with some changes integrated.

The flexibility with the protools software and hardware is endless and renown for its crystal clear quality, which i appreciate a lot as professional audio producer and sound engineer.

To top it all off, the ease of setup and use, regardless of the use case, is what makes this the best software out there.

It's kind of an odd mix of skeuemorphic and minimal design which makes everything seem a bit disjointed.

Reaper made this much more fun and easier than using traditional heavy softwares such as Sonar and Cubase.

The only problems I've run into have involved things that I overlooked or didn't completely understand. I have been able to fix them, easily though not always quickly.

The UI can be a little scary and old fashioned but there are tons of themes.

It surprised me when the app inform me that I would be charged within the 3rd time using it. I hate how money hungry it seem.

I don't like the default color scheme of REAPER, but with a wide variety of downloadable skins in the internet, a user doesn't have to settle for REAPER's default appearance.

Most plugins that you find built into the software is more than enough for even Grammy winning recordings. It simply is the best software you could use for audio and media production.

Multi monitor support is great - being able to lay out the tracks effects and instruments on screen as I want.

Reaper is just a very easy software to use for up and coming artists. It's cheap and intuitive, it's effective at its job and amusing.

Therefore on the side of in built and integrated virtual instruments, Reaper covers all grounds to allow any user to expand capabilities within it.

The only downside of Reaper I can think of is that it doesn't come with a suite of cutting edge plug-ins or have an option to purchase different tiers of the program with elite plugins included.

Very intuitive, but even if there is something that isnt clear, the community have great in depth tutorials.

Starting off young and having no money to spare, REAPER was a god-send. It helped me to scale my business and get better projects while not making a huge dent in the bank.

It allows third party integration and automation in Reaper is perfect.

The software is strong and the community is stronger. There is absolutely no place for regrets.

It is easy to use, easy to watch, you have a great work flow with the interface and also the native plugins are so good and have a great quality.

I have not had any issues so far, however having previously been using Garageband, I miss the built in drummers it has available.

Reaper fits my needs the best. I love that the developers are conbstantly updating it and adding new features.

The only trouble I had with this software are the tutorials but they can be found by just searching the tool name on google or youtube.

I enjoy the hovering over the setting and education of what it would do. As well the sound quality captured is good.

Reaper is so easy to use and learn with lots of customizability for how you want your layout to look. I've mixed literally thousands of hours in the program and it's the only program I mix with now.

Reaper is light, fast, cheap, effective, intuitive, fun to use. I tried last 3 decades many other music production softwares, most of them are huge slow monsters, full of bugs.

The easy layout and use and compatibility with most MiDi controllers. Weather YAMAHA, M-AUDIO or AKAI it still rocks fine.

But sometimes it just has some bugs. But maybe this is a problem with my computer memory.

The program offers such deep ability for configuration that I find myself forcing my attention to the few basic features I need to mix my audio. It's an amazing program for an extremely low price.
