Grow has been one of the best softwares we chose to work with as an organization. It is user friendly to the point where any team member can go in and create dashboards to solve problems and understand how the company is working at any level of detail. The UI is smooth and easy to follow, and the customer support will help right away if there are ever any issues.

Grow is a user-friendly, advanced tool that has allowed our company to fully understand metrics from every department. It is incredibly powerful in its ability to pull in data from every platform we use and compare the data against each other in every imaginable style of metric. The customer support is very helpful, and they will not only help you solve your problem, but advise on best practices - helping you learn how to work better in the software.

The new feature releases they make are very powerful, however they require quite a bit of manual work to implement. We almost have to overhaul all our dashboards & datasets in order to utilize the new features.

The ease of use and ability to analyze/present the data to leadership.

After paying Grow for professional services to help us migrate to a less buggy version of their system, I received an email from an account manager whom I had never met asking for a “check in” call. The call wasn’t a check-in. It was notification that Grow was raising our price more than 100%. I was told that Grow’s prices were actually going up more than 3x but that they would be doing us a favor by only doubling them. My initial salesperson connected me with with Grow’s VP of Revenue. Identified in his professional email as “Mr. Revenue,” their VP spent the first 10 minutes asking me about my kids and family. He then offered me an 85% increase in price and a two-year contract term to “lock it in.” The reason for the price increase? To satisfy their investors. Needless to say, we’re no longer working with Grow. We found a more robust platform at a lower price.

The platform has been very buggy, especially their spreadsheet functions. Moreover, they recently raised our price more than 100%. They know that the switching costs are high, particularly once you have invested the time to setup your metrics.

Easy to create and manage dashboards. Setting up new connections is easy and straightforward, often with detailed guides, if required. Tools for parsing and manipulating the data are thorough and vast.

The guides for setting up connections can be a little difficult to find the first tie you go looking for them, with most internet searches sending you to a contact us form page

The capability of bringing all KPIS to one location to be compared side-by-side and even layered to more precisely set goals. the visual impact and the ability to see the company's statistical position and future direction.

It can occasionally be a little overpowering. It would be beneficial to have a few more color options to distinguish between the various sections.

The reporting functions in Grow are great, they make it easy to pull in data from different systems and combine data to analyze everything in one space. The data visualization is also great in making the data easily understandable to others in the company. Perfect for showing KPI performance.

Figuring out how to create data sets takes some time, some of the functions can be clunky. The main thing I don't like is that once you combine reports you can't go back and add another before you have to either start over or create another combination.

Grow has given our organization greater visibility on what's important to our business. It elevated performance and helps us understand past, current, and future performance trends. This helps us model and predict future goals. We're excited to see all our data points in one place.

Grow makes displaying data from multiple sources very easy. We have many different data points that stem from multiple locations and user interfaces, and Grow displays this data all in one place and on many different customizable dashboards for the different departments that may want to look at the same data, but in a different way or combination. The charts, run rates, goal trends, and simplification of data presentation has streamlined our operation and made all of us extremely competitive! It's great seeing our teams' performance lift simply by giving greater insight into the business in an easy-to-interpret interface.

It would be a nice addition to layer in some gamification. This may already exist and I am unaware of it.

We have 30+ SaaS systems and were using SQL/GSheets to analyze data. Within 15 days of implementing we had over 100 metrics and 10's of dashboards - six months later the Grow and the discussion of metrics is everywhere - slack, email, online, on company dashboards, in the hands of our investors. This all with one dedicated analytics resource.

Ease: because 100's of the most common data sources are pre-integrated you can quickly get past the headache of secure access and onto the business of working with data. Because you can do most analytics without deep sql knowledge more of the business staff can participate in developing the graphs and knowledge. Pace of Innovation: Grow is launching new features every month making it increasingly easy to develop the metrics you need. Pricing Model: Because this isn't a "pay per seat" model and instead a per metric model the value delivered is aligned with cost - occasional users, heavy users all can leverage the full power of the platform without breaking the bank.

If you want super advanced visualizations on par with the highest priced BI tools this isn't for you - this tool is rich but has made appropriate tradeoffs for the purpose of simplicity. For example, you can't have multiple series on the second axis of a 2-axis graph.

Our experience has been very positive. Thanks to training from the last Data Driven Summit, we've been able to successfully tap into our data and successfully aggregate it enough to gain insights.

This software allows for the majority of your data to be accessible within Grow's platform. The abilities to transform the data and present it in a professional, and aesthetically appealing way is critical. I've enjoyed the ability that Grow has to leverage a lot of the functions and abilities available in Excel and other database querying languages inherently in their builder.

Without a knowledge of SQL, many data sources are rendered useless or very cumbersome to retrieve meaningful data. Many of the lesser know data sources do not (understandably) have metrics pre built and ready to add to dashboards, therefore, inspection of the data sources and knowledge of SQL transformations and joins are required to achieve the right data for what's needed.

Once everything is up and going, it works great, just takes some time initially to set up.

We were a somewhat early adopter of the platform, so I've seen a lot of change and improvement over the years from the software. They add useful features on a regular basis and have an amazing support team that is quick to help with any issues that arise. There is a large array of outside connections that can be pulled into the platform, making it easy to aggregate all of our data in one place.

It can be a bit tedious to overhaul metrics once they've been created if we want to update them to use the newest features.

The product allows you to pull in data from different sources of your company (and combine them) and build visualizations. It also supports custom SQL queries on the data sources. It basically turns them into SQL tables and then lets you query them. They also support excel type features. The company is definitely early stage and has a bunch of things to iron out but I love the design the vision of the product and think there is huge potential here. If you are familiar with Salesforce and the Dashboard app, Grow is what that should be. It supports multiple users and custom permissions for each user. Which is great for sharing the dashboards and reports with Investors / Interested parties without giving them everything.

The list is long, this product has so many nice features, I was told when we signed up that they have a 90+% retention which doesn't surprise me. I'd just give it a shot if your looking for dashboard, visualization software.

There are some really basic things missing from this product that would make it a lot better. There is no "pivot table type" feature which for ETL is a basic feature and I'm surprised they don't have it. The application runs slow. Given the complexity of the visualizations and dashboards I'm not surprised, the amount of javascript that must be under the hood... But still its really frustrating to work with at times due to speed. For all the criticism salesforce gets its super fast and reliable and that just counts for so much.

The product itself is decent. Can take care of most needs. As our business has grown, we have outgrown it. There are limitations with both the database functionality and visualizations.The account teams that have serviced the accounts over the years have not been good to work with. [sensitive content hidden] (our latest rep) has been awful. No communication from her and had to constantly follow up with her to get information. When we had issues, neither her nor her manager [sensitive content hidden] would respond to my emails or meet with me.

- If you're not an analytical person or comfortable with numbers, it will be difficult for you to ramp up. - Steep learning curve- but so worth it!

I've never used a dashboarding tool before and with a little bit of training, I've found Grow to be a powerful and simple tool to use.

A small nitpicky thing, when you create a new metric the charts don't snap to fit in a grid system - you have to drag all of your charts around to accommodate anything new or just drag your new one to the bottom.

We built a very comprehensive dashboard showing all our most important KPIs. However, so many changes were being made to the platform that it was hard to keep up because it required us to make major changes to our metrics. We decided to switch to a different product.

Brought in every single data point that we needed to bring in. The customer service was also top notch! Their support staff was very responsive and helped out above and beyond their commitment.

Not much customization available. Lack of features. When we had our account we weren't able to change a date filters for the entire dashboard, but I believe they have fixed that. But i was disappointed in the lack of customization.

Everyone in the company can keep track of KPI's much easier. This saves the company money and helps them to perform better.

Grow makes it easy to create the perfect dashboard that can hold all of your KPI's in one place. It is great to be able to quickly glance at your computer and see how the company is doing with all of its separate goals.

Building the reports can be time consuming, but this is made much less of an issue thanks to their support team and the new tools that they have released recently.

We enjoy being able to see all our satay very clearly streamlined and optimized in one place!

There really aren’t many negatives, maybe just trying to integrate to other systems as that can be difficult at times.

The visualization of the product is amazing. It has a wow factor to it that makes everything you are presenting look so positive. It is really useful to be able to provide daily results to everyone on the team. Makes communicating results more easy

It is a really great visualization tool but it lakes the ease of use and ability to drill down deeper. Each metric stands alone and it is great for presenting but not necessary for analyzing

I like them for use when they are operational and the program isn't being bogged down by large user pools. But they need work on the back end with heavier duty use servers to insure the program doesn't crash as often when a group is using the same program.

The software filters are great and easy to use. The dashboard for review of KPI's is very user friendly and makes quick work of reporting.

The whole program has issues with functionality based on the size of their server. They have crash issues regularly when the server is bogged down due to heavy user traffic.
