For serious users and growing companies, BlackMonk can be a viable option to grow. The on-premise content management and web-publishing platform gives you plenty to work with but can be frustrating when it comes to customer service.

The biggest plus that stands out for BlackMonk is its user friendly set up. With a number of similar platforms that have complex layouts and difficult command dashboards, this is a welcome change. BlackMonk gives you a number of options to implement, which translates to a better user experience.

In terms of cost, BlackMonk can be pricey. While you get your money's worth, this can be a tough hurdle to overcome for new users when compared to a number of competitors in the field. The other main complaint is the lack of customer service. While things are set up easily and navigate, if one has an issue or question, support is hit-or-miss.
