WebMerge is very intuitive and works really well "out of the box". It helped fill a distinct need that we had in a short period of time. You can do some really powerful stuff when paired with Zapier. Additionally, their support is really awesome.

Cons

The only thing that is a challenge for us is the pricing structure compared to what we were previously using. However, provided some grace as we went over our initial quota as we were getting things set up and were very understanding.

This has been a HUGE help to us in terms of helping our customers, and creating a smoother, quicker, guided experience for them.

Pros

We're able to integrate WebMerge with Survey Gizmo to help our customers document their procedures. The integration was key in terms of setting up a guided experience for our customers via Survey Gizmo, and then allowing them to get an output of their procedures automatically via a Web Merge document.

Cons

If you're not a whiz at HTML and code, it's tricky to make sure you've setup syntax correctly. Luckily we had someone our team that was able to troubleshoot the tough stuff, but I could see that being a challenge for other WebMerge users.

As we've been developing our solution they have always been quick to respond and accommodating of our various needs. Every time we have a request for a change or enhancement, it's fulfilled. And QUICKLY! We have over 1000 templates housed in Webmerge and have built out a rather intricate workflow automation. Customer Rep. has tirelessly worked with us to build out our solution. He's even been patient as we've dealt with internal incidents. There hasn't been a single outage in the nearly year we've been using it.

Cons

We have not a single complaint... other than we didn't find it sooner! Seriously, worth every penny!

Support is outstanding. The team is responsive 24x7 and very quick. A simple email will get their attention and they'll go above and beyond to help you solve your problem.

Cons

This isn't really a con but you'll need to be comfortable with the basics to set things up. If you are not, you should look into hiring the support team to get you setup.

There is definitely a wide range of possibilities with this product. It makes a perfect companion for Salesforce, where document generation is needed. Support for SOQL queries, chart generation, and the ability to create dynamic tables are some of my favorite features so far. Whenever I have gotten stuck while trying to implement some of the features, support has been super quick and helpful.

Cons

There were some limitations around some of the features I wanted to use that I did not see in the documentation. I came across a couple of them by reading through the comments on the documentation articles, but others didn't appear until I tried to use a feature that wouldn't work the way it was described in the documentation.

WebMerge integrates seamlessly with Zapier, enabling me to quickly build reports and dynamic content based on surveys, spreadsheets or other data sources. I could create web pages, word docs and PDFs through use of configuration settings.

The programmability of the tool is powerful, enabling conditional content to be developed based on sourced data files. I could also generate outputs that could be emailed, stored in Google Drive or many other places.

Cons

The only thing that I didn't like was the pricing model, which I think didn't quite align with my business model. That said, it would have cost me a lot more to get started building something without WebMerge, so overall it was worth the price.

I searched for a long time for a product that could merge multiple forms into one visually appealing pdf and found none, except for Webmerge. Not only did it work, but it was seamless. Highly recommend this software.

Cons

Can't think of any. The software is super solid and customer support equally good. I initially had a small issue where I couldn't figure out one of the settings, but was resolved quickly.

The customer service is solid, the functionality is great, no down time (ever), but huge gaps in pricing structure.

Pros

I use this in conjunction with Zapier, Office 365 and SurveyMonkey and I am in love with how easily it works for small and large files to pull information from SM, complete forms and email them to our clients (completion certificates from training courses). It saves me a ton of time in data entry.

Cons

Sometimes I need a little more or a little less of the merges, but I have to buy either 100 or 500 merges. Why can't I get 150 or just charge by the amount I use?

Overall, Webmerge has helped us easily track, edit, and customize each waiver to each individual client. If you have any sort of signed documents or waiver in your business, you need webmerge!

Pros

We love webmerge for all of our critical waivers. Being both a boarding facility, daycare facility, and a grooming facility we have several different important waivers in our business. Webmerge has helped us create these documents and saved us a bunch of time with retyping and pasting an old waiver then formatting it for a new client in a word document. Webmerge allows us to change variables within each wavier, which is very useful! We were even able to upload all our old documents from Word into Webmerge, which helped us avoid retyping the entire waiver (some of our waivers are multiple pages long).

We had been using Salesforce's built in quote document tool to create customer facing documents. Anyone that has used it knows of the limitations of that feature of SFDC. I researched and discovered WebMerge. Installed it in our sandbox and had it running in minutes. They have an extensive trial period and after a few days realized it was the perfect affordable solution. Our documents look professional. Plus being able to use the document routing allows me to merge multiple documents into one. I am pulling in technical specifications from AWS S3 and merging into my quotes to create 1 document to give to the customer. WebMerge also helped me with the settings in AWS S3 to allow only WebMerge to access my data bucket.
I know there are many undiscovered uses that I am going to have for this product. Plus flexible pricing. You pay for number of merges - not number of pages.

Pros

The more I use this product, the more i find out new things that it can do. Extremely flexible document template creation. Can use your own MS Office documents for templates or create using WebMerge template builder. Extremely easy to get up and going in a few minutes by uploading an existing Word document with merge fields. The ability to add logic to the templates (formatting,hide fields,sort,etc) is a game changer. If the data is in SFDA, you can get it into a WebMerge document. Another feature that makes this product unique is that you can include a custom SFDC SOQL query in your mappings to merge in almost anything from SFDC.
Even as great as the software is, the support is even better. You submit a case and almost immediately get a response and a solution. If you post a question, you get a response almost immediately. WebMerge will email and and respond to your emailed replies. They will help you until you get a resolution/solution. They will give helpful tips about how to tackle your use case. I bet I emailed them a few times a day with different questions and they replied each time with support.
I cannot explain how helpful this product has been to me to accomplish what I needed to do and I am going to be able to do so many more things that I did not realize. Also a lot of helpful articles on their website.

Cons

Not really anything. If I had to pick something, when uploading a template to WebMerge - if you do get an error message at times it might be cryptic and hard to decipher but your error is usually easy to pick out of the message.

Beautiful! a blessing for the life of contract management.
Very easy to implement. After routes have been established, copying each doc and then replacing the file makes it super easy to create multiple documents that go to wherever you want them to.
Support has always been superb and overall Webmerge has been a savior given the fact that in Mexico there are piles of letters, contracts and documents that legally need to be signed on paper.

Cons

The pricing between the 2nd and 3rd version is a huge difference. For a growing business it's easy to go from 30 docs a month to 100. But going from 100 to 500 is a massive leap, which is also reflected in pricing.
I am a bit unsure of what my boss will say when I tell her that we are about to reach an average that is higher than our current limit (100) and explain that the next limit is 500 and that it will cost over 3 times what we are paying.

I am the owner of a national law firm in Canada. We have to process a high number of leads each day / week. Webmerge solved a major issue with our sales team workflow in that we needed a way to print a PDF report of information from our Hubspot customer database. Webmerge allowed us to automate that process and has saved us tremendous time and boosted productivity. It has allowed us to automate the process using Hubspot. Would highly recommend Webmerge.

WebMerge is a very intelligent and elegant method for combining data from a variety of sources to output a polished and professional final product. The version management system and the field mapping wizard make using WebMerge very straightforward and easy, without the need for long and expensive training programs. Also, the ability connect well to a multitude of different services make it a good fit for most businesses without the need for them to change the processes they already have in place unless they want to.

Cons

On occasion, I find functionality that I assume would be built in to WebMerge that instead requires the use of an additional 3rd-party service. While it is generally easy to set up, there is often a related additional expense.

Pros

It's very easy to use it with their API
Also, customising mails and PDFs helps you to automate complete processes on your business like sending quotes, invoices, reservations etc

Cons

Design and user experience are a little bit too old compared to the value of their software

WebMerge is an absolute gem of a platform. I can't say enough about how much of a pleasure it is to use the product and how powerful it is. The design of the site is intuitive and scales well for small or large operations. The development platform is extremely powerful. The potential for document automation is almost limitless. The most impressive service of WebMerge is hands down the customer service.

Cons

There is a slight learning curve to document development depending on your application and how you are importing the data.

I have been looking for a service like this for years. I do in fact have a very close friend of mine who has a service like Webmerge, but their service is more expensive and has no way near the features Webmerge offers!
Thank you so much for a great product that has made my life easy!

Customer service is excellent! Any issues I have had have been fixed for me.

This online platform lets to collect data and manipulate the document in the ways we desire. It gives us the ability to upload forms and/or data and to the put in the documents as per our wish. It also has featured with which the prepared documents can be shared and also merged with other created/existing documents. Data can be accessed from and merged with other data from emails, GoogleDrive and other third party applications as well. It also has features of uploading data such as spreadsheets and we can also enter the data into this manually. They also provide document forms that are customizable and reusable.

Cons

The interface that they provide is not very user friendly at first, but with use one can learn to use it. The first time users sometime find it cumbersome to use. For very small businesses, the pricing may be a bit high, when compared to that of middle class businesses. We need a strong grip in programming, else it’s difficult to use this application.
