This software has so many cool and useful aspects to managing our company, there is nothing like it!

This software has really made our team complete.

PROS

The fact that We can complete a bid in hours and not days. The bid center saves time and questions. The interaction on any changes within the plans, using the draw tool and sticky notes. It integrates with quick books. The app for our phones and tablets. It literally sells our jobs, clients love it. Truly I could go on and on.

Good but buggy

I am assuming Buildshop focuses on the paid version for use with professional contractors because the home owner version feels like an afterthought. The team answering their facebook page messages early on told me they were still in Beta and so I offered to be a beta tester because I was doing a deep dive with the sioftware trying to organize the myriad of projects and contractors for my home renovation. Most of the options are not suited for qa home owner, things dont work or the information gets pulled from the wrong fields, other fields populate in multiple builds even though they should only be notes for that one bid. I have emailed them many times suggesting a better way to do it that made sense for a home owner that is renovating and NOT a contractor working on multiple contracts but most oif them were ignored. Ultimately it is a good place for me to keep records of my bid requests but very little else which is sad because it really has a lot of potential to help someone like me that is just trying to renovate their home.

PROS

I am a home owner using the free version of this software so I cannot discuss options in the paid contractor version. I like that it is free, that I can manage all the bids for my projects and keep notes for each of them.

CONS

Free version is VERY VERY buggy. Ive even emailed the Buildshop team on facebook with dozens of bug finds and while they seemed appreciative, 85% of them were never addresses.

Build shop helps keep business organized and on track

Basically I use this as job tracking app. I can fill in details about appointments for my workers, so they know where to be be, when and what to expect an what is expected of them.

PROS

I started using this for my business to keep track of jobs, when they need to be done, started, finished, and keep notes.

CONS

Its not the exact answer for my needs, but its filling the need for now. Its free and has most of the features I need for this appliacation.

Very easy to use

Only just started using it, so far it seems quite easy to navigate

PROS

The layout is user friendly and inviting. I've only used it on smaller projects. Very visually appealing.

CONS

I don't know how well it works for larger projects as I've only used it for small ones so far. There are a lot of features I haven't tried yet
