About Countfire

Countfire software from Rapid Tender is a best-of-breed take-off solution suitable for businesses of all sizes. The product is majorly used by residential or commercial construction companies, including electrical, mechanical and plumbing contractors. It provides automatic on-screen take-off, automatic scaling, 2D take-off, linear and area measurements and both CAD and Excel integration.

This Web-based application automates counting from PDF drawings and blueprints. Estimators and quantity surveyors create and select symbols, then the symbols are automatically counted across the entire building. If estimators receive an addendum, Countfire uses all previously defined symbol selections to calculate quantities in the revised drawings.

With marked-up drawings, users see what is counted and which areas the counts are split into, and quantities can be split across different areas even after they have been counted. When finished, users can export quantities to an Excel spreadsheet file for reporting. The file contains all the quantities and symbol descriptions broken into columns according to different areas, or demarcations, defined by estimators. Countfire will also produce record drawings showing what has been counting, and an accuracy report allowing fast double checking to ensure everything is correct.

A great checklist

I like how I can have multiple lists with tasks or shopping lists. Also, I love sharing lists with a team of people who are working together to complete a task.

I do not like the inbox feature. I seems very pointless.
