Higher Logic Online Communities, formerly know as Socious, is a provider of private online community solutions suitable for midsize and enterprise-level businesses, user groups, and nonprofit organizations. It primarily helps technology companies to build a dynamic and private online community for their user groups and audience.
Socious customer community platform offers features to help engage customers online via email and on mobile devices. The rule-based logic allows targeting communications and tracking conversion metrics. Companies can create multiple directories and online groups, keeping the groups status as the public, private or even closed. The online community platforms can be used by business representatives and community members to collaborate, ask and provide answers, share business updates and discuss daily topics. Members can participate from their browser, email inbox using integrated listservs, or community and the mobile-optimized event attendee center.
While some businesses just use it to build online communities for customers, employees and partners, other organizations expand their use of the system to include their public-facing website, events, user group memberships, and peer-to-peer customer communities.

It is easy to use and the vendor is customer oriented.
Cons
There is nothing I do not like about the product. It is a great product and the vendor works hard to make sure the customer is taken care of.
