Marketing automation made easy

I can't speak highly enough of their responsive customer support and product team. Truly a white-glove experience.

PROS

It's simple and easy to use with just the features you need. Bang out landing pages in minutes, run split tests, automate email campaigns, create referral campaigns, etc. We've been using it for 3+ years and it only gets better.

CONS

I'd like to see a Zoom integration for webinar leads (not a must-have because we can easily upload webinar leads + they have a Zapier integration) as well as a webchat widget.

Reason for choosing Wishpond

Prior to Wishpond, we were using different tools for things like email, landing pages, forms, etc. Wishpond helped us integrate it all at a reasonable cost and low mental overhead. It's easy to use and train people on. Plus I can't speak highly enough of their responsive customer support and product team. Truly a white-glove experience.

Loving Wishpond!

Wishpond helps us solve almost every aspect of our inbound lead generation and automated email marketing. I am extremely pleased with the results.

PROS

Having the landing pages, lists, and forms on the same platform as the email automation is a game changer. What used to take two or three different pieces of software can easily be done on one. The landing page editing tool is really, really good. It's easily the best one I've seen on a landing page building platform.

CONS

The biggest drawback is that I can't use my top-level-domain. I have to use a subdomain for my landing pages. Integrating tracking codes onto individual page assets is difficult, and sometimes the javascript doesn't play nice.

Reason for choosing Wishpond

Wishpond had the capability to handle more aspects of inbound lead collection and email automation than any other software I tried. It also had the best landing page editor.

Reasons for switching to Wishpond

I actually switched from using several solutions. I was specifically looking for a platform that would combine features so I didn't need to rely on so many others.

I wanted to love Wishpond but I hate them due to terrible customer support

I love the products but I hate their support. Product is 99% is ready to be used internationally. Because they reject to enable translation of 1% it cannot be used in Europe at all.

PROS

I like landing pages as they can be easily customized. I also like that I can copy html code of landing page and paste it to any website.

CONS

The company appears to be international. After logging in, you can select your language from drop down list. Even if you select your preferred language, all text and templates remain in English. If you live in a non-English speaking country, Wishpond is essentially unusable. There are little things missing to make Wishpond great and usable internationally, but their support is the worst you can imagine. They don't listen to customer feedback. A few examples. Two years ago I requested that they enable the editing and translation of the "Unsubscribe" button in the footer of an email so that I could use email marketing in Europe to comply with the GDPR regulation. I sent them translations and communicated frequently with support, but they did nothing. Recently Wishpond introduced a new feature called "Appointments". This is a very useful feature as customers can book an appointment date and time with you. However, it has one major problem because the calendar is only in English and cannot be translated. The time format cannot be set in 24 hours format. Again if you come from a non-English speaking country this feature is unusable. I have contacted support to enable translation of the calendar into other languages, but as always their response is negative: it is currently only in English, we don't know if we will enable translation into other languages.

Super personal service and support

The experience was fine throughout the time I was subscribed. Nice people to work with. Good support when needed. For the right business it can be a good agency to do the marketing and sales funnels.

PROS

I got superb support and service from my contact person [sensitive content hidden]. Throughout the time I was with Wishond they handled everything, all the tech stuff, all the changes, all the integrations. Every question was answered. I even had an issue a few months after my subscription ended, and still got the same wonderful personal service.

CONS

For my business we did not manage to convert positive ROI, after 8 month we decided to stop the subscription. The sales pitch presentation was very polished, when we discussed the narrow margins, and how it may be difficult to reach positive ROI. Overall the sales campaigns did not even break even. So we had to stop the subscription. I new as a business owner I was taking a chance. The hyped presentation made me hope it would be a long lasting subscription.

Has great potential, but the platform hasn't been updated for years and years (over 5 yrs)

Average. Once I got support to help me setup the automations, it worked flawlessly and the campaigns for my clients worked amazingly.

PROS

The landing page builder is very good, easy to use, you can create practically any design you want as it has an open design, where you're not restricted to blocks. It's an open canvas system. once you get the email automations setup the system works great.

CONS

Wishpond was one of the first platforms within this space of CRM's, automations, but unfortunately it's not a leader in this space at all, because it hasn't kept up and innovated, my guess is, it has some huge accounts keep the cashflow going, and they've gotten comfortable. The worse thing about Wishpond is the support. The support is atrocious. They always take long (48hrs and sometimes longer) to get back to you. The platform is so difficult to use (email marketing automations and triggers specifically)They need to update the platform the UI, we are in 2023, and every other platform (their competitors) in this space, as continually innovated and made things easier to use. Wishpond as stayed the same. This is fine, if the platform was easy to use, but it's not. Im very well versed with SAAS products so I have so much experience using CRM's so it's not like I'm not a techy person.

Marketing for the Small Busines Owner

PROS

They provide full marketing services, including creative, copy, and running of campaigns for my small online business. They took the time to understand my target audience, and are doing their best to reach them. In the few months that we've been working together they've executed one campaign for me, with some positive results. The ROAS is not positive yet, and only time will tell if the whole investment will be worth it.

CONS

While I have appreciated the various services and strategies provided by brax, one aspect that I found challenging was the requirement for a long-term commitment contract. As a solopreneur managing my online shop, flexibility is crucial for me. I understand the need for stability in client-agency relationships, but a more flexible contract structure would have been more aligned with the needs of a small, growing business like mine.

Jam packed with tons of useful features

Wishpond is definitely a jack of all trades kind of platform. So it suffers from what most all-in-one tools suffer from - that it doesn’t truly excel at one particular feature. However, since not everyone needs all the bells and whistles, this isn’t a bad thing since it makes things simpler. Email automations are actually pretty powerful and once you get the SPF record added into your DNS, email deliverability is okay as well and I really do enjoy the contest/sweepstakes feature as it’s not something that’s easy to find outside of dedicated tools.

PROS

Wishpond does a lot of stuff. It’s probably one of my most useful tools in my marketing kit thanks to its robust features. Not only does it have the easiest landing page builder ever that anyone can quickly build out a page on even if they have zero experience, it can also make pop ups, run contests, and even do email marketing automation!

CONS

I think the biggest weakness right now though is the UI and UX, which hasn’t changed in the past few years I’ve used the platform. And there really isn’t a lot of great modern templates for the landing pages.

Wishpond is great - if it worked!

How not to do customer support.

PROS

Their blog is pretty good and informative. And the idea of what Wishpond could do is nice. There's a lot of features, and it would be fantastic if it was a 'end-all, be-all' kind of software.

CONS

Oh my god everything! Features would frequently not work or are just buggy. Email campaigns would break, or the site would just decide to ignore your submission and make it disappear. Customer support is incredibly miss. They would ignore questions and have given my clients the runaround. They would blame my clients for being confused, and then apologize that the feature didn't work 'for them even though it works for everyone else'. Their help docs are a mess. Screen shots don't align with the product. Even live walkthroughs, things would be out of place.

Intuitive product - poor , weak, support department

Support department is weak. Severe time gaps in communication. Example: Just got off Chat with a support-tech by the name of [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]. He was the first to respond to me after two days of waiting for a chat response. He basically said, he sent a test email to his email and it works fine. Without probing or asking more troubleshooting questions, he LEFT THE CONVERSATION, and I was left hanging AGAIN! I don't see how anyone can create time-sensitive marketing campaigns, when there is o much lag time in support troubleshoot conversations. So completely discouraging. I do NOT recommend this product due to a good transparent support system for their customers.

PROS

Product, for the most part, is intuitive. But still fumble a bit, enough to reach out to support .

CONS

Product is pretty intuitive, but still could use improvements. Especially since this is mostly a DYI. A lot of the HOW TO library was outdated.

Horrible

They set up a 6 month contract that they don't deliver on. Said they'd manage at least 3 campaigns in 6 months and only got one done. During the one campaign, they could not keep the facebook ads running. I needed to find out the ads were not running and tell them. They do no monitoring. And then when we told them the ads were shut down it took them days to get it going again. The split testing was with very minimal adjustments to the campaign. When the first campaign finished, they did not have the staff to create the next one. And they continued to charge every month. Can't ereach anyone by phone. Forget it. And they rarely answer e-mail.

PROS

They charge your credit card every month, no matter what.

CONS

It is a disaster. Makes more work for you than doing it yourself.

Automation Made Easy

I love working with Wishpond. They paid attention to detail and made sure to implement more services than I initially asked for to ensure that I get the most leads. Each feature was throughly explained to me.

PROS

I appreciate how everything was broken down to me to explain how things work and how I can add more services. From the very first meeting with Mat, to my onboarding specialist, Jannessy. They have been so helpful in explaining, clarifying, and changing the services to accommodate for my needs.

CONS

The user interface is not as simple to navigate. I had a full on session to walk through the Wishpond dashboard, even though I'm great with technology, this dashboard wasn't the easiest to understand and the cost of other services isn't listed in dollars which can be confusing.

Great Platform for Marketing and Lead Generation

PROS

Wishpond is incredibly easy to use. The templates are beautiful and offer endless customization options. I'm not a techie and I figured it out quickly. I opted for the hybrid package where the team assists with the first campaign. They're really great and super responsive. I tried another platform before and it was a lot more expensive and not nearly as good. I'm launching my campaign this week so I will follow up with a review once that's done and be generating some leads. Overall I highly recommend Wishpond if you're looking to grow your business through outbound marketing.

Itzel at Wishpond was very easy to work with, and adjusted to our evolving requirements ensuring a final product that we were happy with.

CONS

Would have loved to have a template to follow to ensure we were providing the correct information needed sooner in the process. Also, it would have been great to understand from the beginning the number of 'iterations' allowed so that we could have grouped our changes into iterations as to follow this requirement. Wishpond was very understanding and flexible with the number of changes/iterations though and we were able to roll out all needed changes.

Great experience and easy to manage

We were able to get the campaign up and running in just a few hours rather than a few days and the ease of use from the UX side made it easy for our followers to sign up and participate.

PROS

We love how easy it is to implement a campaign and how it organizes the content and the data on the back end to make it easy to manage. We also love how easy it is for the user to take part in our contests now!

CONS

It gets a little pricy as you scale up and this software makes it so easy to sign up for the user that your usage will go up quickly.

Great product!

PROS

We've had a great experience with Wishpond! We have used this for multiple video voting contests. When comparing other products we ultimately selected Wishpond because it was the most user-friendly while still having fraud filters that we absolutely deemed necessary. We've run contests on multiple platforms and we have had the least issues with Wishpond. It's also very easy to set up and any time we've run into an issue during set up, Wishpond was quickly available to assist us by chat or by email.

CONS

While Wishpond is incredibly easy to set up, it is a bit limited in customization.
