Lightspeed allows easy integration with our digital catalog and gives most teachers user level control of their student's digital experience.

We have found that we enjoy the product. It is very intuitive and we find that we now have greater control and visibility over what our users are doing online.

When I try to run a report for a user that is getting blocked from something it lags way behind and the customer is waiting too long to get a URL unblocked because I can't see the block occuring.

Most of the pains we experienced earlier have been addressed in newer versions.

Having the ability to do this by grade levels has been useful as elementary need stricter guidelines than the upper grades.

Sometimes the filter is TOO restricted and must add to a list to allow access.

Lightspeed deployment was straighforward and supported the cariety of devices on our network. The filter is reliable and performance is very good.

The most useful features of Relay that I use every day are the reports that I have automatically sent to my inbox every morning.

The product is very reliable and the flexibility of it being based in the cloud has enable a more proactive approach to keeping children safe online.

The support is exceptional for this company. It's chat based but they are extremely responsive and are able to assist remotely for quick fixes if issues arise.

No YouTube category filtering for iOS. Relies on the Relay app to be installed (we've had to prevent users from uninstalling apps).

It is hard to implement various syncing tools at the same time.

Everything about this software is wonderful. Ease of use, data collection, reporting, etc. I have used several types of filtering software in my career and this is the best by far.

The ease of pushing the Relay extension to our chromebooks has been the biggest benefit.

I love that it is specifically focused on school features and usage instead of being strictly technology focused.

Lightspeed is easy to deploy across our medium sized network (15,000 devices). Training teachers and getting them up and running quickly made the product a solid choice for our 1000 teachers.

Most of the problems I deal with are allowing access to websites or blocking. Also, white listing sites to allow programs to function correctly.

The Safety Alerts for at risk searches and online behavior has been very helpful. It is nice that it integrates with the Google Administration Suite.

However, it is the customer service behind the product that really makes it worth the money. I can’t state strongly enough how great the team there is.

The expansive feature set at a very competitive price makes the Firebox a really attractive option. The ease of deployment and management is, I believe second to none.

The GUI is user friendly and looks quite modern and slick. Generally the configuration is logical and easy to navigate.

Configuration is a bit difficult. An example of this is connecting to one of the four available ethernet connections.

Web console is great for most of the options, it's fast and easy to use, even if you're not very experienced with networks.

We were introduced to Watchguard by a consultant after years with a Cisco PIX/ASA. We love the intuitive user interface and the level of security that has been provided by the appliance.

I've installed and manage well over a hundred fire boxes. The cloud management tools make it super easy to manage updates across all the firewalls that I am responsible for.

All in all, I'm really satisfied with this product because of the regular updates and how stable a firewall can be.

The ease of setting up the Firebox was huge, getting us up and running quickly with the minimum of setup time.

Basic UTM with Poor Manufacturers Support & Poor Reliability.

It's ease of use and ability to provide integration as well as security.

I love the alerts that help me get on top of things quickly and how the monitoring and reporting help me stay aware of how the network is running.

The firebox is fast and easy to setup, Availability of 2 modes of firewall access: web interface and watchguard system manager application. BO VPN services is stable and is not bandwidth thirsty.

Watchguard firewalls are a great option for companies that don't have a large IT budget or large IT staff to manage and constantly monitor the firewalls.

I really don't have any cons for Watchguard other than it can be hard to configure all the features without their support team.

Changing the firewall rules is sometimes confusing for the policy manager.

Licensing easy to understand, High performance even with all security services active, Easy to managed using the WG Cloud and totally integrated with the rest solutions of Watchguard.

Dimension Command is strong report tool to help IT to easy to monitor and show the issues quickly.

It has caused a few buggy situations and does log you out every day which can be a pain.

I like the protection provided for a reasonable price. The ability to manage access points is a bonus.

It has great ability to create any kind of policy you want, and a crazy amount of other features for security and protection.

Setting up client to Site VPN is not overly clear. Took some time to figure out and the odd phone callDoes not work as a DNS server for internal LAN DNS.

Very good experience managing Watchguard Firebox Firewalls.

We have been using these for a few years and have had great luck. Everything from the small Firebox series up to the XTM series that we have in place have been bulletproof.

I have experienced relatively trouble free use of all their devices in the small to mid range. They provide great degrees of administration, control, security, and customer service and support.

WatchGuard is a leading vendor but lags behind its direct competitors, and it's reliability on the smaller range makes it questionable.

Its a good price when I compaire to other products with same features.

I feel that some of there content filtering and blocking is lacking.

Ve used them for many years now, having had a number of generations from the 200/300 to the 270/370 to the 290 series. They work well, are so easy to use, are reliable and the support is fantastic.

I feel very comfortable knowing our network and users are protected. Plus, I can easily modify the UTM with the help of Watchguard's support team should anything be needed.

Full in depth functionality is excellent. You can get as granular as you like for very deep control or general network use.

The depth of features is impressive. We use these at all of our locations with great success.
