I'm surprised by the speed, the overall UX/UI and ease of use.You also get access to a variety of mockups, although I would have liked to have more credit card sizes for my work, I can deal with that. (The actual credit card size isn't right if you take an existing image).And more.. you can also convert image into different format with their tool. I'm a big fan and it really does save me a lot of time when creating social media posts as I use it pretty much every day for work. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros The user interface was very clean and it just seemed very intuitive to use and I do also like that the company sends out updates and tips in their email communications. Just a great program to have which I find very useful. #### Cons There's not a lot to dislike about this software to be honest, if anything I was say that I seem to have to click out of the project I'm working on quite often when I need to open up another project. I do tend to open up a lot of browser tabs though and so this actually helps me to focus on one project at a time more. #### Reasons for choosing Pixelied Pixelied had a better offer on as there was the option to sign up for a lifetime deal when I was looking for this kind of software. I did also end up buying Crello later on when a similar deal became available as both have great features and offer a few slightly different ones, but I must admit I do tend to use Pixelied a lot more than Crello as it just seems to run better for what I generally need and I tend to just use Crello when I want to add in videos or animations mainly. The user interface looks like a piece of software I would run on Windows 95. I'm baffled they made it look this bad. In 2021, I expect a certain aesthetic with SaaS tools. Also, if you're going to try to be a Canva competitor (because they are, as they made it seem like its canva with similar layout and features) then really step up the game. I heard of this off AppSumo and my colleague purchased it, but I played with it, and I honestly felt it would be a huge downgrade to use this product. I'm convinced these reviews are from people who got additional licenses if they wrote a positive review. I mean that honestly. Simple things like being able to search illustrations is not a thing. You have to choose the category and then scroll through them. I want to type in a topic area and find illustrations that can meet that search topic. This was annoying. Also, I couldn't get the border thing to work with illustrations. In other tools, you can drag an image from your desktop ONTO your canvas and it will show up there. Not with this this tool.. If you know how to use vector and pixel graphics editors like Photoshop. Affinity Photo, Paintshop Pro, etc., you will be able to master Pixelied in less than an afternoon. Pixelied also offers a nice selection of stock images and other design elements. For the price, Pixelied is an amazing value. #### Cons I really cannot find any big cons with Pixelied. It is a very nice program. If I was pressed, it would nice if it offered more stock images, but this is not a show stopper and for the price, I cannot complain about what the programs offers to users. #### Reasons for choosing Pixelied Corel Draw is a nice vector graphics program but it is far more expensive than Pixelied. Pixelied is a nice alternative to Canva. It is much newer and doesn't have anything like the amount of features of Canva but it is considerably cheaper and has a much simplier pricing policy. Its realitively easy to create nice looking layouts from scratch even if you're not a designer but there are also a large number of good looking templates available. It's clearly in active development so hopefully it'll be much closer to Canva in a year or two featurewise and ease of designing. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 4/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros Templates - good selection of layout options for all kinds of uses not just Facebook and Twitter Templates - many nice looking templates available and new ones being added frequently (weekly I think) Design - resizing the templates and downloading the finished images in different sizes is quick and easy Background remover - great for images that just need the background removed Fonts - easy to import fonts that be used across all designs Custom images - easy to import and use custom images Mockup tool - really nice to be able to add all kinds of styles and designs within existing mockup templates Teams - can easily add members to your team to work together #### Cons Layers - can't show/hide different layers to try out different styles/layouts Layers - can't see / select different layers so often have to move existing designs to reach the part you need Branding - can't set branding colors or logos, basiclly no branding abilites Colors - can't set a selection of brand colors to use, every item needs its color inputted manually Background images - can easily search images but can't replace background images with new ones which is extra hard because there's no layer control either so sometimes the entire design needs to be taken apart to get to the background. We have used other systems that gave sizing / templates that looked good but needed resizing / adjustments / fixing to actually fit in the real estate of the social media posts. It's truly a "design and done" system! #### Cons Although the interface it very similar to other online image editing / design systems, there are some tweaks that would help make things even easier.
