ApplicantStack, is a cloud-based applicant tracking and employee onboarding solution specifically designed to suit the needs of small and midsize organizations in any industry.

ApplicantStack offers tools to help companies generate online employment applications, create and post new open positions, share positions on top job boards as well as social media sites and build screening questionnaires to accompany online applications. Users can track and manage candidates and allow them access to schedule interviews directly on a shared calendar. As a part of the onboarding module, users can manage new hire paperwork, communications, tasks and employee information in a single place. ApplicantStack provides a library of state and federal forms so new hires can electronically sign all documents, via their employee portal.

The solution is hosted in the cloud, so there is no need to invest in IT infrastructure or support. ApplicantStack provides a support portal as well as a help center which includes getting started videos. No long-term commitment or contract is required.

There customer service are so great! They have a long patience waiting for you to learned what you have inquire , they will teach you step by step process on making your imaginations comes to life .

Cons

There is a little bit problem on uploading or adding videos,pictures, links etc. , It is not a user friendly for a beginner but if you learn how to use it , It will become so useful.

It's a good stand alone ATS.

Pros

I liked how easy it was to use Applicant Stack - and that we could post a job once and have it hit several job boards simultaneously. I liked the ability to create questions, and rule out unqualified applicants - it saves a lot of time.

Cons

Drop down lists and filters have improved some but could still be better. The ultimate reason we aren't using this software now is because although there are integrations available, our company went with a software that had everything in one suite, that worked seamlessly together (CRM, Recruiting, Payroll, Books, Time Tracking, Invoicing, Campaigns, etc.).

Hands on didn't take time for us to understand the product entirely. Applications are processed and delivered in a customized format on the screen as expected. Hope my team catches it up soon as it's easy to help them understand it as well.
It offers the same things that the other systems did for us previously and it's actually our cons that we didn't try this earlier.

Cons

Help setup more better documentation for referring so that we can help sort our issues without having to contact the support team. And please skip the confirmation of every chosen option at the end. Faster is better, but should also be idiot proof.

If you're debating whether or not you need this type of software, go for it. Instead of piles of paper to sort through, it's all digital. So much more efficient!

Pros

ApplicantStack helps keep all of our applicants organized. It is a huge step up from paper applications. We are able to post to different job boards as often as needed. We also love the onboarding portal; we can send new hires their paperwork online.

Cons

You may need some technical knowledge in order to edit the application yourself, but AppStack has people available to help you make changes if you need assistance.

They recently changed their user interface and had a really annoying feature where all filters “collapsed” every time you made a selection. We sent a few change requests to their customer service team, and they actually listened! It took about 3.5 months to implement the change, but it’s fixed now and all is right with the world again. It’s nice to see they take change requests seriously and want to improve their product to meet user needs!

Pros

We've been using ApplicantStack for over a year, and it's still a great product! They just did a major update that changed the user interface a bit, and for the most part it was an improvement. Still absolutely amazing for the price - it's based on recruiter/HR/admin users, as opposed to employees or # of applicants like with Taleo or iCims.

Customer representative and her team have provided nothing less than excellent support in problem resolution, consideration of new features and overall functionality.

I have used other ATS systems with other companies and found this system to be very simple but with all the right capabilities. I would like to see different seminars such as recruiting laws and how to get better use out of the system based on recruiting requirements.

Pros

Easy to use, easy to train other to use, and very adaptable. Great for companies of any size! I have had no issues using the system or changing it to our specific needs.

Cons

I would like to be able to send an email to my managers with feedback forms so they can fill it out and it will show up in the candidates profile (Much like how I can send an email to the candidate with a questionnaire and it automatically uploads into their candidate profile). Now they have to log in and go to the profile to complete this action.

I have seen significant improvement with HR process using this application. Not only the hiring process, but another HR process including training etc can be managed within this application. Reporting module helps a lot for weekly and monthly data reports. Good App for management.

Pros

I don’t see any problem with functionality or UI. Everything looks great!

Before we looked into getting a different applicant tracking system I found applicant stack to be intuitive and easy to use. Once we started looking into other systems I found applicant stack to be a little behind in terms of capability and functionality. There is similar software that has more capability for a fraction of the cost of applicant stack.

I am able to access information about applicants from anyplace I can get internet access. I don't have to wait for an HR representative to send documents to me. It is very easy to post the JD and requirements. It has allowed me to save a considerable amount of time chasing paper and it is VERY flexible in that I can access it 24/7.

Workflow and required steps can easily be customized.
It is a secure environment.

App Stack helps to keep track of progress of applicants and their status. It allows notes and keeps track of duplications. The reports are wonderful when pulling stats. It is amazing overall.

Pros

App Stack is very user friendly and easy to learn. It has many benefits to helping with the hiring process.

Cons

There are a few things I would tweak, but that is preferential and not operational. Example: The current job for an applicant has to put today's date and there is not a "present" option that they still work there. Not sure yet if that is just a malfunction on my end or not.

Tracking resumes, applications, and applicants has been very easy. It is nice to be able to see if the applicant is a repeat applicant or if they have not ever contacted us before. The knockout scoring has been helpful in wading through all the resumes.

It's accuracy and efficiency. Easy to get reports when I'm asked how many applicant are hired.

My experience with ApplicantStack has been great! It has streamlined our processes and allowed me an easy way to keep track of applicants. Any complaint or issue I've had has been quickly resolved by the customer service team and they are constantly introducing updates.

Pros

Ability to move applicants through stages, send automatic emails and keep track of their progress through the pipeline.

Cons

Some times I have trouble finding the settings I need
