Innovation is an important part of any organization especially in the B2B Marketing and Advertising Industry where constant ideas need to be materialized so that innovation is in constant motion.

Maybe because of its great features, some contributors will think out-of-this-world ideas not out-of-this-box ideas hindering efficient gamification but we can handle it.

Our Firm is utilizing Ideawake to bring out any and all ideas that all employees, long-term and new may have. Those that impact out customers as well as the employees individually. This has brought about a plethora of ideas and is showing areas in which improvement is needed, which the Firm is addressing by relevancy.

This program is a great collection center to have for gathering ideas and funneling them into one place to be viewed by one and all for an organization. It helps an organization to innovate and grow by utilizing their current knowledgeable staff as well as their newly acquired talent. Instead of having to submit stacks of paper documents, graphs and spreadsheets and any other documents that were needed when submitting an idea like in the good old days in years past and having to worry that some of the documents will get separated or misplaced, Ideawake allows you to put all your files into one area where the end user can find them at any time. The other nice option that is offered is that as a user who submits ideas, they have the capability to follow their idea, as well as others, and see where it is in the approval process as well as who is handling the idea. Overall, this software has helped the employees of our own Firm to contribute a wealth of ideas to those who can help us to make change happen.

Technicality wise I do not feel that there are really any Cons. My only issue with the idea of submitting information of this type of substance via electronically is that it removes the one-on-one connection that is built when working with a person. Trust is formed when interacting with a person over a period of time. And when interacting with a person about an idea, you are both able to discuss it and view it from different perspectives, which can generate more ideas, which can improve upon your idea or point out an area in which you need to shore up a weak spot in your idea. Communication is an important component in not only business but also in creation and innovation. So while this product is a fabulous tool to utilize, please do not forget that communicating with others is still important in developing and implementation.

Not happy. Many changes are required to make it suitable to implement.

Only first step is good to capture the idea. Reports are good.

After idea capturing, it looses the track. Work flow and the dashboard sequence do not match. Every process step i.e. evaluation, approval, implementation etc, need to have separate screen to understand. Date and time stamp with completion process is required for each sequence and it is missing. At the same time real time updating is not visible, every time i need to refresh it to see the effect. Idea system should be integrated with the KAIZEN, IPR and Big project systems. It shall be integrated with the TPM pillar concept to have good integration.

Whenever we have meetings with the creative and technical departments, we are always brainstorming about ideas. I call it the meeting with the greatest minds because I’m always learning something new. It keeps me motivated to work better. Ideawake is an amazing application that allows you to put this ideas into good use. We compile them together and see which ones we can apply to our work. We also use it for the outside consumers because they are the ones who can provide helpful advice. Their added features are project management, tracking and status developments. Such a useful software for everyone.

Haven’t encountered any problems so far, but I heard from my co-workers that they were not too happy with the customer service department because they had to wait for a long time to receive their reply for a certain issue. Other than that, a perfect 10.

We use it to improve the environmental management and work safety system of workers and it works very well, increasing the competitiv eness of employees because they strive to provide the best solutions. Another contribution of the software is that it allows us to identify problems and situations that we did not know, because the employees take advantage of the surveys to also comment on other situations that were unknown.

The approach that allowed us to do with the workers of the different areas. The work environment improves substantially because they begin to understand that we work for common problems, that we are interested in improving the environment for all.

I liked the least is that there are many valuable individual ideas that can not be incorporated. In addition, it does not classify ideas or projects according to their viability. If we could incorporate a greater number of physical and engineering variables would give us the feasibility or discarding of ideas or projects at one time

Lacking some customization capabilities

I am using this platform to rank business ideas and vote for a contest winner. IT has been super easy to navigate without any instruction or prior experience with the platform.

Easy to use and allows uers to post videos, documents etc to an accessible platform for views and sharing.

The learning curve is there. It is easy once you understand the system, but if you are thrown in without any education or training, it could be difficult at first. I say this as I was added to this project after it was already selected, so i did miss any training that was done.

This system is great! All companies should be using this! So easy to use and when anyone has an idea, just post it! Never has it been so easy to be heard and make actual change in the company you work for.

Perhaps if the tags could be used to better target each department they pertain to. That way anyone with the power to make change in that department can be notified of the idea as well. This would hopefully get their input and move things along as well as get more eyes on a potential important idea.
