Excellent for non-skilled personal to use yet still versatile for skilled nursing.

Also, the customer service staff are AMAZING, they are always kind,  helpful, patient,  and have excellent follow up.

Ease of use is the most common praise from LTC facilities.

I can easily retrieve data whenever and wherever I may be which keeps everyone on their toes. It's very cost effective.

The system has greatly help centralize our medication management and ADLs. More importantly, it builds care plans with ease and translate easily into TAR and MAR that can be printed out for staff.

My overall experience has been very good, the customer service and help team are great.

Anytime I contact ECP for assistance they are always willing to help in whatever way possible. Everyone has been very cordial.

Everything can be added into this program and makes it very easy to stay organized. The company is always willing to make something work to best suit our facility.

I love using ECP, I have used a few documentation system over the years geared toward AL/CBRF and this is by far my favorite to use. Also there tech support is beyond great and helpful.

It is easy to teach staff how to use, it is user friendly to customize, pharmacy integration saves valuable nursing time, customer service is excellent. We have been very happy with ECP overall.

The Drug Info link also is difficult to find the drug class. This is how the CBRF Med Administration course teaches, based off of drug classes, as well as nursing.

Can be confusing to staff as it’ll appear as if that resident has no meds to take.

The best thing about this product from an inpatient hospice standpoint is the ability to document in the Agency Front Office via the internet site.

Brightree did not need cell services to do documentation. We are able to document in homes that have limited cell coverage without the fear of losing information.

This integration is critical in the areas of disease management, telemedicine, and data analytics. The scheduling component is by far the weakest area of the Brightree EMR product.

The support we have received from the Brightree team during our training and implementation process has been great.

If you are a family owned business and don't need to provide good financial reports, this could be good system for you.

System is not very easy to customize, and if you need a custom report, it is very expensive to have done. They will not let you self host their platform, which makes data access very difficult.

Vendor won't release us from contract and we are stuck with a product that doesn't suit our customers needs.

Overall, our experience has been very positive, and we would recommend using Brightree.

ECP is a cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) solution that assists living and senior care communities of any size. It is suitable for multi-state providers and includes assessments, care charting, alerts, task lists, and reports. ECP is compatible with mobile devices.


The solution features electronic medical administration records (eMAR) capabilities that include alerts and reminders for staff regarding patient regimens. Administrators can receive notifications when inventory is low on specific medications and since ECP integrates with most major pharmacy software vendors, the reordering process is automated.
