User friendly and easy to learn, convenient delivery of notes to facilities, patient census by facility, portability, voice recognition for text to speech notes, MIPS and Meaningful use capabilities.

It has enabled me to have an EHR at a reasonable cost with relatively good functionality. It is helping to gather data so I can report and fulfill the MIPS requirement.

Ease of Use- Straight forward charting - work flow. The faxing of notes straight to the nursing home after I completed note saved me time.

Integration with MIPS dashboard. Easy access to patient education.

Overall a great product tailored to LTC  so providers can focus more on quality patient care.

The support team is extremely helpful in solving problems immediately or promptly looking for the answer. They take your suggestions seriously and look at the benefit of it for all users.

Fair to good text-to-speech software. Ability to use real person transcription services.

Expensive for lack of customization. Terrible e-prescription that is clunky, does not allow scheduled 2s.

No lab features to be able to intergate a bridge to get results and very useless medication function.

Some doctors I contracted with rejected this software due to lack of scheduling program. I tried to show them how to use the regulatory visit schedule but their office manager would shut me down.

I also like the way the census tracks the number of days since the patient was seen. The support team is fabulous, and Christy Bailey was awesome getting us launched.

The notes are really nice and very professional for presentation to our customers. The note is easy to read and looks great.

No lab or diagnostic integration. No facility EHR integration which they have been advertising as available for over 3 years.

Excellent integration with Dragon voice dictation.

I like the QPP support provided by the company related to the EHR data tracking and reporting features. I like the way the facilities are aligned and ease of access to the information.

Significant improvement in searching for patient diagnoses. Incorporation of Quality Measures is extremely important to those of us working in long-term care.

The worst scheduling system ever that has never been addressed despite 100% user request to improve. Macintosh integration is error ridden and released too early.

No labs/meds integration; not possible to transfer notes between users. ARx function lousy, even compared to free software.

I dislike that the add ons are so expensive and thus we don't have most of them. I dislike care assist but I also disliked the previous MAR setup.

This product is one of the easier to use for long term care billing that I have used in past. Customer support is amazing.

We have had good overall experience with the program. It is easy for one user to teach another user the functions needed for their daily tasks.

If we have any questions, they are answered, and answered timely. Great options for uploading documents and growth capability.

It's quite frustrating because it happens often.

As a smaller facility, it is hard to sell the cost, if the rest of the organization doesn't need the particular add on.

The only real complaint i have is that at times it feels inefficient. A lot of clicks to get where you need to go to sometimes, comparatively speaking.

Using MatrixCare for over 15 years, I find it is very user friendly and easy to train.

From my standpoint in medical records, I feel the software is very user friendly. It's easy to use & easy to customize to my specific needs.

I feel that compared to other softwares, the 'basics'... maybe even the basics that we took for granted before, are markedly more difficult.

Integrates with Great Plains and several other software products.

The current API that we can add face sheets from our other software is time saving but again other API's are needed to increase efficiency.

The communication of product enhancement is wonderful. The help desk staff is always very friendly and helpful when calling with questions.

You folks are clueless about Senior Living other than nursing home.

Post implementation support was simply outstanding.

That's just plan foolish. On reports the date does not default to current date and then you change from that if needed - cumbersome and illogical.

What i like the most is how responsive the company and team are. Wondering if the software can do something.

I dislike the short time span prior to it automatically logging you out.

If I were a larger building, I would be extremely frustrated if I had any experience with some of the other softwares at just how much back and forth there is with this software.

It is really easy to use and to navigate once you get used to it. Screens are not cluttered and “clean.
