ChiroTouch Chiropractic EMR Software


 

ChiroTouch is an electronic health records (EHR) and practice management system designed specifically for small to midsize chiropractic practices. It combines electronic health records, billing, patient scheduling, outcomes assessments and inventory management in a single, integrated suite.

The EHR has custom templates for chiropractors, along with image management, dynamic SOAP notes and real-time patient flow with room management capabilities. The EHR provides lab integration and wireless support, and it can be used on a PC or on an iPad through the CTProvider iPad app. ChiroTouch's billing application features eligibility inquiry, claim scrubbing, automated batch posting, DME billing, workers’ compensation billing and other capabilities.

The scheduling application has appointment reminders, room scheduling, patient messaging and a patient portal. The entire system is HIPAA compliant. Chiropractors can send text and email reminders to patients, while patients can use the system to fill out intake and outcomes assessment forms before their office visit.

I filed a complaint with BBB and they lied stating they resolved it when in fact they terminated my account with no notification, my contract since 2013 states this cannot happen and no one will speak to me. if you write a negative facebook post then they will call you and realize they messed up and won't call you back

nothing the company is run by ignorant thieves that claim they have thousands of users when they dont

if you want to waste thousands of dollars and have a terrible experience then Facebook don't your money

Quickly produce notes And relatively simple billing software included with the product. Works well with basic chiropractic offices who do only minimal soft tissue work or sports work.

Cons

Customer service is absolutely horrible. It takes forever to Get on the phone with someone. And if you try to use the call back now option, they never actually get back to you within the allotted time and you end up having to call back again.

I like that it sends out reminders to our patients letting them know of every appointment. The system overall is pretty easy to maneuver around and it has everything their at your fingertips.

Cons

I do not like that when patients receive a reminder for their appointment it doesn't allow for them to upload or save that appointment on to there calendar of course such as Google. I also don't like that although they offer everything that a clinic needs to successfully run a medical practice it charges you for each and every item and that for our practice gets pricey to use them.

I’ve been in private practice for 25 years and I have had many in house billing and outside billing agency’s over the years. The support team has shown to be the most assertive, organized, and pleasant billing company to work with. They responses to your emails, text or calls within one hour, and your request(s) are usually performed within one day. It’s a joy and pleasure to work with their support team.

Pros

I was able to construct a level 4 exam that meets All insurances standard with just a few clicks of a button.

Cons

None that I can think of. It has all that I need and that is required to bill. The billing software is great.

Customer support makes things easy to understand, team is efficient and knowledgeable. With a calm manner team shows me how to tackle my issues and questions, I appreciate team patience very much. The ChiroTouch program itself is easy to use and keeps things very well organized and accessible. Everything is large and easy to read. It does a lot of the work itself!

Cons

The Scheduler is a bit more complicated than I'd prefer, editing block colors and active providers etc.

In any software package that is comprehensive I think that support and training are the keys to ongoing success. CT has a tremendous support staff and they are available online to help with questions and problems. In particular rep has come to the rescue of my office in times of front desk transitions by coming in at 6 am to help me to get back up to speed, to train new staff, and to help with a backlog of billing snarls such a transition can engender. She was always cheerful, detailed, patient, warm, ...and I do not think it an exaggeration to say she was instrumental to the health of my clinic at many times of transition and flux. Just knowing she is available with answers to back us up has given us a huge sense of security since the billing issues are always changing and evolving and she stays up on them. She knows the software inside and out and we consider her an essential part of our office team.
The software itself is comprehensive and has more functionality than I can describe. It allows the doctor to ipad notes on the fly..pull up reports that cover anything, handle EHR issues, and is moldable to the needs of many styles of practice. It is the Cadillac of software and was the best purchase I made when setting up my office. I have never regretted not going for a stripped down cheap software package. It really runs the whole office and if you are even considering a software company to incorporate into your practice this is the one to use.

Cons

Not to sound one sided...but I really have nothing that comes to mind. It seems they have talked to many DCs and have anticipated our needs before I do.

She is personable, punctual, knowledgeable, she strives to answer each and every question completely and she never makes you feel you are asking a dumb question. I can not recommend her enough! ChiroTouch has a gem in support team! If you haven’t used Direct Connect with her, you should!

Pros

Software support especially the Direct Connects with support team. Any question regarding the software she is your girl!

Cons

NONE!! I have not one complaint about ChiroTouch and support team. You can’t go wrong with her guidance!

Pros

Very compliant if you fill in all the data on each visit. There are special macros for personal injury, medicare, self-pay, and insurance.

Cons

It takes forever to fill the stuff out and often it is redundant on the same day of service for subjective and plan components.

Information is easy to find on a patient. The reports give us more information on what we need, The system is well organized as we learn more about it. Don't have as many steps as we did with the other program we were working in.

Cons

Some things are hard to figure out as in the insurance file and finding reports. This program was some what hard to learn. Did not like the fact that we were calling in to much to figure out small things. Sometimes the up dates are confusing. The other thing that is puzzling. When a patient pays off their account sometimes it stills shows a balance. Thanks to Customer support they helped us figure out the problem.

Microsoft updates require us to contact support for help that sometimes requires reinstall. Biggest pain.... there are no ways to get patient visit totals and yearly patient visit totals. Office manager has to count them on the computer.. Patients ask how many visits do I have.. Pretty stupid not having this simple setup. My other software made life easier by having that option..

Pros

The program is easy to use and can be customized, but that can be difficult at times. Overall easy on eyes, but not much more than that

Cons

over priced, and difficult to cancel services, was billed 10 consecutive months for a product i cancelled. Have called in numerous times to correct issue and just get thrown into a circle that never resolves, over priced yearly fee for customer service which you will need if you purchase. Due to chirotouch inability to separate providers when billing, I have had issues with insurance companies, that if i wouldn't have proved was chirotouch's problem, I would have had to return thousands of dollars in insurance checks.

This is the best thing I did for my practice besides going to chiropractic college. The exams and daily notes are very easy to use. I like that I can customize the exams and drop downs to anything I like. I do not have to do another doctors exam, I practice the way I have also practiced and better. The ADL and FOAs are easy to tract patient progress.

Overall we feel that CT has been a great addition, the support team is wonderful, and we feel that anyone considering software should look to this product. It does everything. My advice is not to go with a cheaper product when the software you choose will help or hinder you everyday

Pros

This software helps run our entire office. Support has been great! Our support person will get with us at 6 in the morning if we need her and has been supportive, and patient with training new people and helping us get the most out of all the features the software provides. She has helped our office get up to speed with the billing portion of the process with employee changes and has amazing knowledge base. Software is visually easy and makes the flow in the office quite seamless.

Cons

not sure, when we first bought CT a few years ago the wait for support was an issue. But, over last year or so 90% of our questions can be addressed through a simple Chat Widget where a support person gets right onto your computer and together work through the question at hand and this usually only takes a minute or two to connect.

Working with the staff is wonderful. Took a little bit of time to understand sme of the program but with help from our customer service rep, I'm much happier working with this program.

Pros

I like the scheduling and billing function . I love working with our customer service rep when I have any issues. She is very knowledgeable and a great caring person to boot. She makes my job much less stressful.

Cons

What is difficult is the Insurance portion of this program. It is hard to remember how to changeover DOS to another insurance if the insurance wasn't changed prior to the doctor adding charges.

Great platform to be able to create notes for any style of practice. Great customer service esp the Direct Connect sessions with the customer representative. Incredible knowledge and has been so helpful for my billing staff. Makes using Chirotouch for all insurance billing and collecting much easier

The report part of the system is not as good as I would have liked. Difficult to get some reports with detail and difficult to get demographic and psycho graphic information out of the system

The people are very nice and helpful. I have only had a couple who seemed like they were still learning, and
just couldn't help me. But if I call right back, the next person has always helped! The BOYS have always been awesome, crew is always great.

Problems being solved with chirotouch are having electronic health records and almost all information able to be loaded into system electronically. Ability to make changes to a patient record and have it updated immediately. Ability to streamline billing and payment processing more efficiently.

Pros

Ease-of-use, instant update of information, efficient billing of claims and remit processing.

Cons

Some issues with printing paper claims. Inability to update Ledger after Daily office note input, in order to correct Insurance calculations for a specific date of service. Must recalculate multiple dates of service instead.

User interface is easy to use. Clean front desk.

Cons

Smart Cloud was so much easier to read the ledgers and tell patients what their balances are at a glance.

Personally, I have had an amazing experience with C-touch! The customer service is amazing, the price is really good I am totally worth your purchase !

Pros

As a chiropractic assistant who sees around 100 patients a day. Having time to mess around on the computer and get everybody booked and scheduled is a big part of my day. C- touch is very functionable and very easy to understand!

Cons

where in the process from switching over to patient files to computer. However we still use peoples file for Workmen’s Comp. cases, personal injury reports, and car accidents. When we have to pull patient files, I wish there was a button that could print all of the people scheduled for the day in alphabetical order to make it easier to pull fules

Pros

Well this is hard because there really wasn't anything about it that I liked, I guess that guy that did our training was nice.

Cons

ChiroTouch bought out the company that we currently use and all support was cut off unless we switched to them, it felt like we were being forced to switch and so we made the switch and regretted it immediately. We trained like we were suppose to but the system was so non user friendly it's not even funny. There are about 4 ways to do ever task so while that sounds nice like you have lots of options it's not, it just makes things really confusing and very hard to learn how to operate the system. We never went live with the system because we had such trouble with the training so after buying out of our contract with them we are now in search of a new system again.
