Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • We have been on ChiroTouch since 2007 I think. I find it to be the perfect fit for our office.
  • I love the insurance verification aspect when it's working properly and many of the other features like integration with merchant services, billing, etc. Chat widget is (mostly) great.
  • Cons

  • This is the worse software for updates. The updates half the time don't relate to a small clinic but a clinic that mainly does PT.
  • I had a staff member receive a death threat (not kidding) and their entire support team was supposedly fired. Updates are sure to cause problems.

  • Pros

  • Medent is very user friendly. Easy to quickly chart on patients and find needed information in the chart.
  • Clean straightforward design. Fully integrated with faxing, billing/ERA, eRx, labs, patient reminders by phone/text, etc.
  • Cons

  • Costing us much more in payroll hours and employee frustration. We have had two people from our billing office (who have been here for many years) threaten to quit, which would be disastrous.
  • Inferior training prior to implementation. Processes are much more time consuming and cumbersome than with our prior practice management software.
