We transitioned to Hello Health after 7 years using a different EMR platform. Our move was prompted by poor customer support on the part of our prior EMR. The Hello Health staff made our transition as painless as possibly, with on site training for both providers and front desk staff, as well as easy and fast access by phone for trouble shooting after the initial onboarding was complete. Over the years we found the Hello Health staff to be very responsive and always willing to help us to customize the platform to conform with our particular practice needs. Finally, our patients appreciated a more accessible and functional patient portal.
CONSThe software was not ideal for a women's health practice in terms of tracking shorter term medical complaints and obstetric records. However, the team was very helpful in finding work around solutions that allowed us to use the EMR to our satisfaction

The EMR fits my small practice well
EMR is definitely a must have to practice medicine today and having a patient portal is a big advantage for me. I cannot say enough about how fast the Hellohealth team has been to respond to any questions from me and my staff.
PROSThis was my third EMR to implement and by far the most intuitive. From day 1 it has been a easy to use tool that gets my job done quickly and accurately. The cost to get started was fractions of other companies and i could use any hardware. The cloud base product is accessible from anywhere and that makes working from home a breeze. The patient portal is user friendly to the patient and keeps us in contact with one another and able to share test results with patients, truly making the health information portable, yet secure
CONSLike all software programs there are always computer glitches some days, but he IT team is always available and pick up on the second ring to answer my questions and get me going again. It does not interface with other practices or hospital EMR and i hope that comes someday

Worse EMR I’ve worked with, people left practice as they could not access patient portal
Worse EMR I’ve ever encountered & I did agency where you would have a different system almost daily.
PROSI got to put a picture of me on my profile really nothing
CONSPeople left practice as pt portal did not work. Have to keep going to multiple users profiles just to schedule, send email. Support is not help, it’s a miracle if the 1 of 2 people who work that answer but nothing is resolved. Give us the pt ID that’s it’s. Freezes up. I’m unable to order labs quest lab corp directly

Happy, long-term user
It's been over 10 years on this platform. From ease of use, updates that streamline my patient care abilities and customer service that I use very infrequently but are always super responsive, I plan to retire while still using Hello Health!
PROSI love the user-friendly platform for both myself, my staff and my patients. I have onboarded several staff members over the years and it takes a day or two to be up and running productively. I have seen very few technology platforms in the industry be so intuitive to practicing docs.
CONSAs an integrative provider, I hope to see an integration soon with my virtual supplement dispensary. I know that it's being considered for the roadmap though, highlighting Hello Health's commitment to continue to enhance the platform.

Hello Health is ready to use out of the box. They have a business model that actually helps generate more revenue from the practice while sharing a much more involved patient relationship with the provider. Plus, everyone I've worked with there is very friendly.
CONSWhile it is easy to use and intuitive, there is not a whole lot of customizabity. Use of third party applications can help overcome this issue.
