Languard is what we were needing for a long time..
Languard is a great product to deploy patches throughout distributed environments. Easy interface, user friendly, nice reports, automation and scheduling of tasks, auto remediation, etc. It also serves as a scanner to check for vulnerabilities, not only software-related but miss-configurations and other things that can be mitigated. It can be used to scan everything.
PROSnon-stop ongoing patching and remediation, based on locations, settings. Relays can be set to distribute the load. One single pane of glass for all patch-related information. I heard new version is web based and has multiple administrators.
CONSCurrently one single console user at a time can use the system and will have to RDP into the server, so if you are running a task and another person logs on to the server, it will bring a duplicate session but will not work. The new version is supposed to fix this (hopefully). Also, need faster convergence on reports coming back from agents.

This is an great network security and patch management solution for small and medium businesses
Product is easy to use once you get it going. Wide verity of scan tools to scan your network and keep track of patch management
CONSThe wide spectrum of scans on a large scale is slow and can get a bit overwhelming and time consuming

GFI is an effective tool for patching software on the network
lots of man hours saved using this application to patch machines across the network
PROSThe software provides automated re-starts , patching of third party software and providing a list of users on the domain
CONSreports are not the best, the next version should have the input for better reporting. It is suggested that this area be looked at.

It captures the information we require and assist in patching and keeping our network protected.
The ability to do multi patching and updates simultaneously. I like the reporting feature where you are able to generate reports and send patches to the client without interrupting work.
CONSThe unnual renewal and maintenance cost. This may need to be reviewed as the ability to added users are sometimes limited by this.

GFI LanGuard
Looked great out of the box but lacked correct reporting. We moved to another SIEM because of false reporting.
PROSThe dashboard was great. It provides all kinds of information and setup and configuration are fairly straight forward.
CONSWhat I didn't like was the reporting accuracy. GFI vulnerability scanner was reporting false positive vulnerabilities. We would look at a system GFI reported as requiring a patch and we would find the patch already deployed on the system. This created more work for us and caused us to chase down a lot of false positives

Good Tool to Patch Applications
GFI Languard is used to patch Microsoft and other third party tools. The reports generated needs to be sorted in order to be used for reporting. This feature requires improvement, but overall the tool is worth the cost.
PROSautomatic patching of work stations
CONSReports need tweaking

best support i have received in a long time from a company
Product is easy to use once you get it going. Ampel configuration options. Wide verity of scan to scan your network from top to bottom.
CONSBit slow sometimes when you click to open certain setting. The wide spectrum of scans and of different setting can get a bit overwhelming at first.
