Ability to put a lot of information into a consistent tool for presentations and training within an organization.

Cons:

It's challenging to figure out how to change backgrounds and apply background templates. I recently tried to apply a new background to slides from a previous organization and it was very challenging to figure out how to do this.

Ideal for fast presentations to clients

Microsoft PowerPoint is a tried and tested solution for presentation when one has to create something quickly like pitching an idea to the client or presenting some design ideas to internal persons. It’s great for someone like us who is not as advanced and knows more about using design software. The templates will save time but I wish there were more fashion-specific templates. It may be due for some improvements in the performance of the media-rich projects.

Pros:

I really appreciate the ability to easily customize the templates to fit our brand's style. As a designer, it's nice to have the ability to choose colors and fonts and not get into reinventing the wheel. Great quizzes to help me out when I want to do our newest apparel designs in a neat pitch. Also liked being able to embed short videos within slides without needing additional software.

Cons:

At times the tool is a bit tricky if you are working with bigger files, which contain several images. It has also crashed randomly at times which can be annoying during a tight deadline. I'd like more flexibility in the video editing, especially if I want to cut and arrange things, for teasers about a video for social media. It is functional, but definitely could use some enhancements.

Pros:

I like that you can create your own power points with Microsoft PowerPoint and that it is easy to use. You can use templates that are already incorporated in it, or make your own. Great customer support and value for money, no bugs or issues and it is great for video editing and document management!

Cons:

The only thing that I can say that I dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint is that sometimes I have issues with incorporating my own video or voice over into my power points, which is something that I have needed to do for an assignment for a class.

I made the switch because Microsoft PowerPoint has great template choices available to use as well as the video and voiceover options, which I think is awesome!
