Great task-management software at an affordable price - JIRA is a great solution for a small business.

Jira has been good tool to help us organize and execute our team's work. I'd hope to find more flexibility in views and the like in JIRA, but as it's focus is on software teams I understand.

There are nice features that integrate across the ecosystem, like opsgenie, also the charts seem useful,  having multiple metrics about the project progress.

Some of the breakdowns of what issue the problems fall under aren't specific enough, and there are character limits for some of the requests when they should be able to leave more detail.

Great UI and user experience. Flexible, lots of options but not too many that's its overwhelming.

Communication between tasks and larger milestones can be difficult and less intuitive to follow, especially if the Milestone spans several months work.

We were able to enter job tasks and track them pretty easily.

We previously had a system that no one (including me) used because it was not at all intuitive and was a poor fit with what we needed.

If intervals allowed you to enter hours in start/stop time blocks, then I could skip the spreadsheet and have realtime feedback on my budget.

Reports are wonderful and you are able to get all kind of important information to decide whether a client/project is interesting or not. Other of our requirements was tracking time.

Its giving you a chance to try the software before buying it, which is very smart because you will like the software and will ending buying it.

Nice API, you can take all your data and do whatever you want with it. The request management system is pretty good.

Gantt charts are good to swap the task dates. During my research, I observed intervals gives a better UI experience.

It is hard to get everyone to always change statuses and track time - but I think that is a people training issue.

Ease of reports and estimations for business proposals.

We use this every day to track time and set project alerts. It's been a great and easy to use and share with our employees.

For ordinary users it is straightforward to enter time and navigate around. The problem is getting users to do it regularly - but that is a problem with the humans not the software.

This is inefficient and duplicates effort, but I need to be able to enter it in time blocks in order to be accurate.

Overall this tool has done what we need it to do. I would like to see QuickBooks integration at the click of a button.

Love the ability to toggle into weekly time summary displays. Been very insightful having a clear snapshot.

Reporting tools are priceless. Overall a great application, would recommend it to anyone wholeheartedly.

We have been using for over a year now and the platform works great. There are some reporting issues we would like to see added but overall Intervals works wonderfully and fits our need.

Sometimes employees cant figure out where and how to enter their hours and their hours get lost. If they dont use the specific tasks, or task criteria, I dont see their hours.

Intervals combines task management, time tracking and reporting into a single project management platform. It is used primarily by Web design agencies, Web development agencies, other creative agencies, PR firms and IT shops.


Applications include budgeting, document management and storage, issue management (i.e., tracking tickets), reporting and task tracking. Milestones can be used to group tasks together for more effective management.


Having evolved from a traditional ticketing system, Intervals features time tracking by task, which can be updated automatically or manually.
