I don't like the lack of customization. Also, i hate that you can not put a folder into a folder.

Some features in this apps on some devices are located differently, which can be confusing at times.

No real problems other than lack of usage due to feeling a bit burdened by having to maintain two separate task management systems.

It has been a lifesaver in terms of its use. Due to the length of use in our business, it hasn't been to our benefit to switching to a different platform with all our history of notes.

Amazing collaborative workspace to work on docs with multiple people. Pricing isn't cheap, but it's fair and comparable to other platforms.

Great product,  ease of use, affordable. Does everything we need that the larger doc management programs do at a fraction of the cost.

The new re-write (v10) is awful, and forced me to revert to v6. Searching for a new alternative while v6 still works.

This application also using quite large of my phone RAM as it will keep lagging and crash when i am using it more than one hour.

I appreciated also very much that most of the essential features can be used for free without limitations (other tools like Asana limit the number of projects, tasks or team members).

I use it for small and medium projects where live feedback from team members (progress, comments, etc.) is vital. Achieving the same result with MS Project Server would cost exorbitantly more.

Open Project is very easy to navigate, with little-to-no training needed prior. It is easy to help organize project teams and help triage/direct issues found.

They have presented all the information about your projects and profile in a very good manner on the dashboard and that make it user friendly.

Good alternative to Microsoft Project, plus has some capability for swimlane formatting etc. Can get a lot done with just the free trial.

Budgeting is OK, but again awkward as the plugin appears to apply to all projects when within a single project. There is no baseline feature and no way to compare performance verses the baseline.

Well, first of all it's Open Source and it has a good community.

In it's strategic project planning which is great very organized and delivers in time. Economical on team projects atleast this is much faster and conservative on resources.

The way of handling the timeline is not flexible as it shoud.

It’s also great with task management and team collaboration. Very great when it comes to time tracking,cost reporting and budgeting.

I also liked the integrated workflows. The community edition might serve you well when you have only a small team.

Meetings can be logged in their own section, and wiki notes can be captured for reference. Very pleased with the community version of OpenProject.

I love the ease of use of OpenProject and better than MS Project. Tracking tasks is simple and efficient.

Technical knowledge is required to install. If you use it as a team (online) you will need to pay for a server where it will be installed.

There's no app and the trying to use it on a phone is difficult.

The price is also affordable and is a plus for this product. What makes it perfect for us is the possibility to have it installed on personal servers.

OpenProject misses a few features that I think should be available. For instance, it is now possible to export Cost Reports (for instance, Time Sheet logs).

Overall, the OpenProject experience was excellent. I would recommend it to everyone who does not have a large budget.
