Solid tenant and facility management program! Easy to use, excellent feature set!
Main, most used features on the left sidebar and the right sidebar makes it easy to keep track of the important tasks and communications. And tech support has been great - fast and efficient!
CONSAccess to the db for creating local tenant lists would be nice. Also, I'd like the ability to create customized letters, reports, etc., without having to contact support.

StorEdge is great at being detailed and solving issues as well as open to improvements! I love this Software and would honestly never want to switch!
PROSI transfered to this facility from another location which had a different software program. I had no guidance from (no longer with us) superiors of this software. With that said the best feature is the Customer Service Center! By far they saved my life! I also love the graphics and the layout and how easy it is to find what you are looking for. You can search in the Help Center if you do not want to call the Customer Service Center and gain even more knowledge.
CONSI am not a fan with the process of transferring current tenants. To explain, if you did not know that a tenant is already a current tenant or if they create a lead, and you move them in without knowing then they are stuck with two separate accounts and they can not be combined without moving them out and then back in. So that needs to be an option.

Tech support stinks
Have been very happy with all aspects of the software
PROSI have been happy with the use of the sofware
CONSI have been unable to log in to my software for going on 48 hours. This is not acceptable. I feel as though [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] in tech support has had more than enough time to get me back on line. Last communication with him was 16 hours ago. Perhaps you are closed on Saturday. If this is the case I would have thought someone would have made this priority as we were down all day yesterday. We had the same problem the day before and it was corrected rather quickly by [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]. Does this not show in our record to maybe assist the next technician? In wrapping up I feel like my case was just swept under the rug and the monkey was being put on my back.

Makes my storage life easy!
I absolutely love StorEDGE. From day to day duties, to things I only need to look at a couple times every few months, the software helps me stay organized. The ease of logging in anywhere, being able to assist tenants immediately, is what allows us to provide the best customer service we can.
CONSWhen we first switched over from SiteLink to StorEDGE, we had quite a few issues with tenants information being correctly added. The first couple months I had tenants calling me, asking about their autopay not being withdrawn. I'd notice that some addresses, alternative contacts, basic information, didn't get swapped over. Once I got all the kinks worked out, the software is fabulous.

Very happy with our upgrade
Overall we have been very satisfied with Storedge. It has made it much easier to keep track of delinquent tenants and the amount of automated reminders has increased the amount of our tenants who keep up with their bills.
PROSSwitching from Syrasoft to StorEdge has been like night and day. StorEdge makes our day to day tasks so much simpler and it runs much more efficiently. Just about everything is automated and the software itself is very simple to understand and use. Everything is pretty self explanatory once you get used to where certain settings and tasks are.
CONSThere are a few aspects of Storedge that leave something to be desired. For instance, the tenant portal is not great. For some reason autopay settings are not anywhere in billing information so tenants have no idea when they update their payment methods that they're being taken off of autopay unless they go to a different part of the site to re-enroll.Also, it was initially very convenient that tenants could update their own contact information until we realized that meant they could also change the name on the account without re-signing a lease, which put us as a facility in a very difficult place legally when it comes to auctions and sending accounts to collections. Unfortunately there's no way to choose what info tenants can and can't update themselves- it's all or nothing.Another thing we think could use improvement would be sending emails. There's no way to see a preview of an email you're going to send a tenant to make sure the auto-fill fields populate correctly unless you send the email first and THEN you can see how it turned out. As far as billing goes, a major issue we recently ran into is that if a tenant is pre-paid months ahead and receives a rate increase, the rate increase will not go into effect until their prepaid credit runs out. If that tenant is consistently paid ahead, the rate increase will just never go into effect.

We asked several other storage facilities' managers/owners what software they used and overwhelmingly they recommended StorEdge. After going through the demo and liking the interface, and looking at cost savings with being able to ditch our old 3rd party payment processor it seemed like the obvious choice to make

Software for Dummies
Overall, it's been a very good experience.
PROSI started this business from scratch. I had no prior experience with operating or owning a storage company. I don't think I would have been successful without Storedge. It enables me to easily keep track of each tenant; all of their documentation, payment info, access to the facility, and almost anything else I could possibly need. I love how there is a space for Leads, to keep track of those reserving a space or just interested in possibly leasing from me. I love my Dash that allows me to see all the general info of my business at a glance, such as number of tenants, occupancy, past due tenants, and current activity of the business. I like how I can easily generate reports of almost any kind. I most often use the financial reports to keep apprised of how my business is doing. I like how easy it is to add or remove units from my facility map or change pricing on my units.
CONSIt was a little overwhelming in the beginning, due to my inexperience with technology. Sometimes, it was difficult to get some of my question answered. But I believe that has improved over time.

storEDGE Management Software Review
We thoroughly enjoy using the storEdge software. We decided to swap to this software after many years of keeping up through a different operating system that was not intended to be used for self-storage. The billing features, payment reminders, customer support are some of our favorite assets available through our system. This product is very user friendly on both ends—for the customer and the administration. Once we decided to swap to this product it was not difficult at all to integrate the new system into our existing business.
CONSThere are a few report features that are difficult to find and run for year-end/ tax purposes. The current renters sometimes have an issue with logging in or knowing their username and/or password. Overall storEdge is very user friendly on both ends of the system.

Storage with storEDGE
The benefits of storEDGE make my job easier than I could imagine because it's user-friendly and works well for our business model.
PROSI like the daily task features and billing summary because it makes it easy for me to locate what and who's account I need.
CONSI feel some of the updates that are made with the software don't benefit the users, but that's just my opinion.

Its only getting more advanced and easy to use day by day.
My overall experience with Storedge only gets better by the day and that is because they are very proactive with making the software better by the day. I wasn't to sure about the program when i first started using it but they have made many awesome updates and advances and continue to make things easier managing self storage facilities.
PROSFrom my experience with storedge, is how clean and advanced of a program it is. Its very user friendly and with the universal search bar per facility, it makes life way easier when you have a few hundred tenants to work with. I was skeptical on a few different things when i first started using the program, there were a few things that i think could have been made more up to date. That is what i found over time to be such a great aspect to using Storedge is how proactive the advancement in the software is. They have made and continue to make advancements with integrations that make managing stage facilities much easier. Plus i the customer service is always very friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to navigating the software.
CONSBeing that they seem to have a great deal of knowledge when it comes to the software program, it doesn't however seem they have a great deal of knowledge about self storage facilities. There are a few bugs here and there that get frustrating because of that. They are proactively working those bugs out and are constantly updating either fixes or new updates all the time. They do not have a mobile application that i personally would love to have. Since its based back east being that they are 3 hours ahead, if i have any issues and need to reach customer service after 2 pm pacific time they are closed at 5 pm Eastern. i do wish they could stay open a bit longer.

Makes Storage Facility Management simple.
The best part of StorEDGE is its ease of use. We chose StorEDGE to run our first storage facility and we could not be happier with our choice. The ease with which the program operates makes it extremely simple to onboard new people to use the system. Also, we rarely have billing issues with our tenants as they almost all choose to use the autoplay feature and the ones that do not get email reminders both ahead of all payments that are due and again if they do not pay by the due date. This has been made running a storage facility far less stressful than we were expecting.
CONSThe only CON would be the mobile site. I wish there was an app to use. My cell phone is huge, so I am able to navigate the site easily, but some other employees struggle a bit using their cell phones.

Best Software out there for storage facilities
This software is very well organized. Finding functions is easy. Once you have used the tabs you can find anything. It keeps track off all past and current clients which makes my job much easier. It keeps very good records when dealing with unhappy customers. All Payments are kept track of and easily accessible. Coming into a job with little training this software was so easy to learn on my own. In the off case of needing assistance the support team is very good at helping and always answers your calls. I have nothing but good things to say about it!!!!

StorEDGE is an amazing software. It's easy to use but offers a variety of features!
I love how easy the system is to use. Not only that, but it is aesthetically pleasing as well. It's clearly on trend and looks up to date. I like how simple it is to navigate through the tasks bar and to find tenant information. On top of all of that, customer service is ALWAYS AMAZING. They are knowledgeable and if they do not know that answer right away, they are quick to find someone who does. I have never had a poor experience with customer service. They are kinda, respectful, patient, and overall wonderful people I enjoy asking for help whenever I need it. They made the transition into my current position as smooth as possible. I simply cannot rave about the customer service enough.
CONSI know they are working on it right now, but the biggest lacking I can find is not having the ability to email our tenants mass custom emails. We have to create an email list ( which the system allows us to do) but then use a third party website to send mass emails to update tentants. I hope this features comes soon.

StorEDGE Management Software Review
The StorEDGE software is very easy to use and incredibly reliable. Navigation is intuitive and makes finding what you need, when you need it, a snap.
CONSMy only complaint (and it's a small one) is that there have been times when the UI has been updated and finding specific tabs turns into a hunt.

An outstanding web-based Self-Storage software solution!
We have been using storEDGE for close to eight months now and it's been great. We were looking for a web-based program having been with the standalone version of sitelink for 8 years and did a lot of comparisons between both sitelink and storEDGE's online offerings. We decided to go with storEDGE and it's been great. The set-up was effortless, and they took care of the whole process. Once we were up and running, anytime we have a question we can call and their Customer Service reps are more than happy to help us out and take care of whatever issue we're having or walk us through whatever part of the software we're having trouble with. They always answer the phones ready to help and without any attitude! And lastly, the software itself is very modern and easy to use. Being web-based, we're able to have the program running on both computers at the same time in our office which is great, as well as our office iPad. And one thing I really loved was that the team at storEDGE seems to release updates and tweaks about every couple weeks to keep things running smooth and introduce new features to the software. We chose to have them build our website as well, so our storEDGE management software integrates perfectly with the website they built to allow for even more features! I really can't say enough great things about storEDGE, it really is a great solution for those looking to move to a web-based software platform.
PROSModern interface, and ease of use. Autopay with credit card billing. And with our website integration, their tenant portal is very useful!
CONSOn occasion the storEDGE site may be unavailable for 5-10 minutes, but it's usually fixed very quickly. Thankfully it doesn't happen too often.

The dash board is a great tool. Everything that is needed is at one glance!
CONSThe red exclamation point used to notify us that an overlock needs to be removed, they have taken it away and I am not certain why. Also, not being able to see an individuals access to the property. I wish it could be separated and sorted by individual users.

PROSWhen I was going to open an account, they gave me an application for credit card processing , then they chnaged the processing company, the first company processing was never cancelled , so for almost a year I had nominal fee charged by the first CC Processing Co, which I never remibursed and Storeedge nver follow up on that.
CONSAdditional small charge by one processing company that never got the busisess.

Easy to Work With
Easy to work with, customer service is extremely helpful when needed.
PROSThis is a great software to help manage our facility. It's nice to be able to set it up with email notifications that lets you know if they have been read or not.
CONSThe one thing I don't like is that you can't clear out the communication history when a unit has been moved out.

Easy to use and great customer support!
The software is easy to use, and has a lot of great features. The ability to text the customers straight from our software makes its so easy. I also love all of the different reports that I have access to with the click of a button. Like any new software, it has its quirks and hiccups. The difference though is that this company has their customer support system nailed to a tee!

Clunky and getting better.
The features are great however it seems none are fully implemented to a point where they are dependable and useful. I bought this software a couple of years ago for the Rental Center and it still has not proven dependable enough to use.
