Pros/Cons

  • Pros

  • Easy to learn and easy to work with. Billing is great and the rules based system is so helpful and our errors are less than 1% because of it.

  • Easy, pleasurable interface to navigate. Also easy to train others on it, overall a great product. I loved working on it compared to others I have worked with.

  • Cons

  • It is a great way to view your records and communicate with the provider, but if you are a group that takes care of the elderly it can be difficult for the patient to use.

  • Sometimes it was a little bit laggy and crashed often during the work day. After a phone call to athena they were usually able to fix it quickly though.

  • Pros

  • How easy it is for someone who isn't tech-savvy to use. There are a few steps to follow to finish a consultation, but once I was shown, it's been a breeze.

  • Customer service has been great. With the product itself, we like that ease of sending photos, voice/video calls, the completion and charging out clients.

  • Cons

  • Set up team not very flexible with different software.

  • I had no issues with this software. It was very easy and very convenient for me to communicate with a veterinarian's office.
