LearnCube Virtual Classroom is a cloud-based learning management tool suitable for organizations of all sizes, both corporate and educational. LearnCube offers live video and audio support, various classroom communication tools, class scheduling and media sharing. My LearnCube review

I would recommend to try it out especially with the free trial.

PROS

One of the cheaper options available when it comes to hosting virtual classrooms. It does the job you need it to. Offers a variety of features such as the Whiteboard to help with collaborating with students. Even offers a free trial period for 14 days.

CONS

I would argue that it's not the most used or most popular software out there. You would probably find people using alternatives to Learncube but I still think it's great.

Would be better if all the functions worked.

PROS

Fairly easy to use. Can prepare some of the sessions before hand.

CONS

Often loses the writing I have prepared before hand. When reviewing the class, the work is not there - it just shows what was there at the start of the session. When using the maths tools, the student can see them but I can't. Classes scheduled, total minutes taught, the session Q.O.C and learning analysis would be great but are all inaccurate so are no help at all.

Hi Suzie, thanks for your feedback here. I'm glad you found our virtual classroom software easy to use, and it looks like you've made the most of our content lesson library. Saying that I'm sorry you experienced instances of losing annotations you had prepared before classes. There's clearly more we can/should do here. We have more detailed reporting for our Online School solution because both teachers and students have a login. We'll work on enhancing the information in our past-class review for standalone virtual classroom users. Thanks again and we hope we can continue to serve you :)

Great tool with great features, but not a tool for the long run.

It was generally good but not something I would ever use again probably.

PROS

I tried many MANY many online and LMS tools for online teaching and this one was one of them. I like it, but I would not use it for the long run. In fact I quickly stopped. It is not very user friendly and it was very time consuming.

CONS

Time consuming, not user friendly, trial period and then fee. Not a great tool for a big school with hundreds of students I think.

Outstanding Quality from Learn Cube

Learn cube have allowed me to start my own business for a fraction of the cost I could hope for if I had to do it myself. Also, I don't have the knowledge or expertise to create such a site. They've been patient with me and have produced something I am happy with and proud of. I've already received really favourable comments from colleagues. There are some features I'd like going forward, but I know that Learn Cube are constantly improving and revising their service. Nothing stays still. I look forward to a long and mutually successful business partnership.
