The Event Manager's Event Management Tool

PROS

The title says a lot -- it is an event management tool that feels like it was made by event managers for event managers. The table management features are amazing -- it let us make table guest as self-service as our customers would let us. Having all of the tables and guests in one place made things a lot smoother behind the scenes, moving things around could happen in real-enough-time.When it came to check-in the software showed it's best colors -- we trained a gave a dozen volunteers 10 minutes or so of training before loosing them to manage check-in for a 500 person dinner. It was so seamless we actually got compliments on how smooth it was.

CONS

The table management features would be more wonderful if they were exposed as an API and had some reporting. Would be great to have a few more mass guest-list manipulation options, like assigning seat color in groups.

Great Product with Multiple Features

Oue experience with Zkipster has been great - so much so that we have upgraded, and use it as our go-to platform with as many events as possible. It is easy to use, multi-functional, and customizable. The customer service is great, and the product hasn't given us any trouble.

PROS

We signed on for the table-seating functions, and upgraded and stayed for all of the other event management features!

CONS

Like every system, it has a few nuances you have to get used to (like where to find a menu item); overall though, it is easy to use.

Reason for choosing zkipster

We originally used a lower-level (lower-cost) subscription, and it worked well for that event. Eventually, we explored all of it's uses and upgraded.

Reasons for switching to zkipster

We needed a quality guest seating platform.

Our small office of 6 within a larger operation of many looks professional and modern with invitations that don’t sit in spam folders.

PROS

My invitation for events are received and easy to open and respond. Customizable RSVP’s. Customer service and chats very responsive.

CONS

I like everything about Zkipster! I am a mature worker and required assistance to set up. No problem! Zkipster’s customer care helped me!

Excellent product. Makes my work life easier!

My job would be much harder without Zkipster.

PROS

It is a great product for event managers. It is like it was custom made for my work needs. Invitations are easy to draft, copy and amend. Zkipster thinks about all the different scenarios when planning an event and has an answer for almost each of them. The product team also thinks ahead and every new feature released is in-line with all the modern technology.

CONS

I am missing the database aspect of it, but I know the product team are working on something that will be similar to having a database of contacts within Zkipster. The use of more logos in the invitation would be useful. More fonts and highlight features would be nice.

Thanks to Zkipster the event went well!

The system was very smooth and check-in went without a hitch! The support system was also very good and any questions we had were answered immediately, so overall the system was smooth to use! Thank you very much!

The simple UI allowed even those unfamiliar with the system to use it immediately. Also, the loading speed was very fast.

CONS

・I uploaded the check-in guest lists to skipster, but it was not reflected, once I logged out and logged in, it was reflected, so I want it to be reflected without logging in and logging out.・I want to be able to edit the "type here" of the form.

Constant improvement and add-ons on features. Zkipster simply evolved with the changing event management needs.

Seat management has been a constant problem for us, this may be due to internet connectivity as well but is one of the features that we often use.

Guest Check in a breeze!

PROS

I really appreciate how easy the invite send out & guest check in process is with Zkipster. Being able to whitelist domain names so guests receive it from your company is great. And being easily able to check who's RSVPD, who hasn't open their email can allow for easy follow up. Also adding in guests at an event is really easy to capture their data in case you forgot their details. The customer service is incredible, the live chat function is really easy and they are so responsive! Love working with the [SENSITIVE CONTENT] , [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and the Zkipster crew!

CONS

It would be great if there were a few more design functions but I'm not sure if that's in the next tier up but using our company font would be great. As well as some of the formatting in the invitation, the format sizes are a little tricky and sometimes for aesthetically pleasing formatting it can be hard to do. I also wish that when sending out invitations the jpeg element of the invite was visible, rather than the recipient having to select download image. I'm not sure if that's a Zkipster design or a software (outlook) thing.

You're right that you would be able to use your custom company font & have more opportunities to customize your emails with our Enterprise plan. However we did carefully select our default fonts with the deliverability of clients' emails in mind: non web-safe fonts can cause emails to be marked as Spam by guests' email providers. You're also right about the jpeg images within emails having to be downloaded: it is an issue with Outlook, which is configured to block automatic picture downloads from the internet by default. As such there sadly isn't much we can do about it, but zkipster is optimized to achieve the best possible rendering across all browsers & platforms to minimize it. Hope this helps - please do reach out if you need anything else!

Easy to Use, Expert Level Software with a Stellar Customer Service Team

What our team likes most about Zkipster is our ability to manage thousands of different guests for a single event. The level of tracking provided when sending out invitations and event reminders provides us with great data on exactly who will be at our event, and once the event starts, who really showed up. The ability to customize the invitations to our own branding has been crucial in making sure that our guests have a strong impression of our brand before, during and after the event. Beyond the software itself, the support team is the best I've seen. The online chat function (shoutout to [SENSITIVE CONTENT]!) is highly responsive and always helpful in finding a solution that works best for US. In the very rare case that a solution can't be found via a discussion with the online chat, their [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has always been there to take care of things. Their commitment to customer service is why I will remain a client as long as I'm able and why I'd be happy to recommend it to anyone else looking to plan and execute first-class events.

CONS

The only downside that I can think of is that the software is a little slow to check people in, creating bottlenecks at the busiest parts of our event.

Guestlist Management with Ease

Excellent customer service and support, the support team, especially [SENSITIVE CONTENT] had been very helpful. He also helped us think of using creative way to manage guestlist, a big salute to him!

PROS

Our company hosts gala dinner for a car event annually. The guestlist and invitation was always a headache for the event team. Especially, we still post handwritten invitations to remind elegant, and this added an additional layer of challenge to guestlist management. Since the introduction of Zkipster, the team no longer need to ask IT department to assist them to setup or modify email template, they can customize the invitation email according to the theme of the gala dinner. The form at the invitation list also record guests' dinning preferences, giving the banquet team a huge help. The posting of handwritten invitations is no longer a guessing game, where all guest responses are tracked properly and can be reviewed by user with proper right. We cannot imagine to go back to the old days without Zkipster!

CONS

Great invitation and registration Software

We have used the system for 4 years and it is now integral for all of our events. We manage over 100 a year and use zkipster for all of them. It integrates with our CRM and provides our guests with an easy event registration and checkin experience.

PROS

We use zkipster to invite and manage all of our in person, online and hybrid events from the invitation stage to guest checkin. It is easy to use, user friendly and helps us tailor each event event.

CONS

Language selection...so users that are not fluent in english can still access the platform and have an understanding of all the different settings.

It’s great for small to medium size of event, when you have over 2000 guests it may not be a good fit.

Very handy tool!

Overall this saved us hours in guest list management, with COVID and things changing daily, having the one place to monitor and amend RSVP status was great.

PROS

Zkipster was a very easy tool to manage our event. we had multiple sessions per day over two weeks, and the seemless integration of guestlists made it a lot easier to manage.

CONS

A little tricky for us to check in just one person if there was a plus one against their name, and the ease in editing guests on web wasn't as easy on tablet.

Seamless Events because of Zkipster!

Zkipster makes the event check in experience seamless. Our staff can identify appropriate guests, alert us when VIPS arrive, and diners to their proper tables with the new seating tool. The report feature allows us to provide our clients with attendance information immediately following their events, and let's us track social media impressions in realtime! Zkipster is an essential component to any event that Collective has a part in.

Guest Registration

I rent ipads for events and conferences and over the years zkipster has become the go to guest registration App. I do not usually recommend apps to clients but am happy to suggest they consider Zkipster and they tend to then use it and then request it for future events.

So simple, yet so effective. Hard to believe how we coped without it before.

It made our check-in process much smoother and created a much more professional and calm atmosphere at the event. It also helped us to keep track of changing table numbers for dinner, for which the sincing element was vital.

PROS

It's very simple to use - both uploading the data before an event, and also at the event itself. The fact that all tablets in use sinc together is it's best feature. As the person in charge of the events we've used it at, I'd taken time to really get to know the programme beforehand, but we found it only took about 15 minutes to brief the team registering guests on the night, for them to completely understand it. Every single one of them said it was 100% easily to register guests using Zkipster rather than the usual paper guest lists that they're used to.

CONS

I haven't tried the table planning aspect yet as I still believe in a stressful environment before a big dinner, when guests are cancelling, not showing up, or just turning up, and table plans need to be quickly amended, actually having paper versions in front of me are easier to deal with.

All the basics

Good experience overall! It does what it needs to do.

PROS

This software is very user friendly. I love that multiple users can be on it at once. It's super mobile friendly, works great on laptop or PC, and works on iPads! All in all, it's basic and gets the job done.

CONS

You have to be connected to GOOD WiFi. If not, it will be very slow and bug out on you. I recommend either a personal hotspot or company wifi. I also wish it were integrated with either floor-plan software or event details.

Thank you very much for your kind review! A good WiFi is indeed important, however, you can also use our offline mode and operate your guest lists from your local devices. Use this as backup in case of a weak internet signal. There is a seating plan integration for our professional subscribers/users which can be activated online and/or via our support team.
