A better music maker for music notation in schools

Musink is the best music maker for me to educate my students about music notation. They enjoy making music in it and I have found customer service great. I was very happy to upgrade from the music maker I used before.

PROS

Musink lets you make music really easily which means it is great for students. My kids love making music using Musink. Its price point is fantastic. It is great edtech

CONS

I have not had any trouble using Musink but when I am not sure customer support is very helpful. It is great music making notation software for edtech.

Reasons for switching to Musink

The other product was more expensive and difficult to use

Vendor Response

The Best Music Maker / Notation Software I've Ever Used

I find using Musink to do music notation really fast, easy, and fun. The way it approaches notation means it's particularly helpful when it comes to composing scores for drums and piano. I think it's fair to say I love this software.

PROS

It has a unique notation system that lets me make music very quickly - all I need to do is click once to make a new note. I find it very intuitive. It's probably the best music maker software that I've ever used. I mostly use it to create drum scores and piano music, and it's really sped up my workflow.

CONS

It took me a few minutes of practice to understand how to write music in the fastest possible way using Musink software, but it was well worth the time, and it was definitely better than the other music notation editors I've used. Luckily, I haven't really had to contact customer support, as the help documentation is really thorough and has answered all my questions.

Reasons for switching to Musink

I found Sibelus really clunky. I tried a few other notation editors, but they were pretty much all the same, and I wanted something more intuitive. Musink was the best of everything I tried.

Vendor Response

Very glad to hear you enjoyed using our notation editor for making your piano music, JD.

Great for students, teachers, and after-hours

Musink has made it easier to teach students, and to compose music faster in class. I have also been able to compose high-quality scores that I would be proud to see in a book. I have produced similar scores in Sibelius and I can't imagine switching back now. Sibelius simply seems clunky in comparison.

PROS

The score editor in Musink is incredibly simple to use and a great tool to both compose and teach students how music notation works. The students can also download a free version to use at home, for homework, etc. It simplifies the process of writing music in a way that makes it accessible but still contains powerful features that I use for my own composition after work.

CONS

Like all software, there are some very minor features missing. These have never been a bother, though.

Reason for choosing Musink

Price, and other apps simply seemed like carbon copies of sibelius

Reasons for switching to Musink

Price, curiosity to try something new and modern

Vendor Response

Glad to hear your enjoyed Musink Pro score editor Mark!
