Great Brand Hub product from Adgistics

The Brand Hub delivers the 'one stop shop' to our brand that we need. Working with Adgistics and through the insights and analytics we need to keep pushing the functionality and evolving to continually meet the changes needs of our business.

PROS

Managed to integrate the Adgistics product into our business smoothly and in a timely manner. Product was easily customisable to meet the needs of our brand. Great team at Adgistics and they're constantly striving for improvements through innovative product development.

CONS

The MyShare functionality is well received and a USP for our site. I believe we're the only client that uses this functionality so worry that the functionality may go or be dumbed down over time through lack of development.

Reasons for switching to Adgistics Brand Hub

Previous system was out dated, clunky, expensive and hard to use.

Excellent platform and does the job it needs to do

My overall experience has been excellent and I am very happy with the product that is offered. I believe the account management is top quality and I have excellent rapport with the account manager for us. As detailed above there is one obvious improvement that can be made to the functionality that would make this a near perfect platform for hosting brand content.

PROS

The platform has been built in a way that makes it very responsive and easy to use for anyone with CMS experience. It comes with a lot of expertise from the supplier to ensure that you can set-up and structure the site in the best possible way and the opportunity to see best practices from there own 'mock' site is extremely helpful. The asset library functionality is a stand-out feature, allowing users to use the master files to create their own versions of these assets directly on the platform prior to downloading.

CONS

The biggest downside with the platform is the fact that it requires an upgrade to be on the version of the platform that has continuous improvements, bug fixes and feature enhancements - which are then offered at no extra charge once you pay for the upgrade. In regards to features, the glaringly obvious issue is not having a site wide search function. Currently the search bar only looks at keywords tagged to assets. If you have a platform with a lot of content then the search does not look these up to help aid users find answers to their questions.

Good platform overall but there is room for improvement

PROS

Easy to control and distribute assets. Good options for marketing templates, especially for bigger pieces of collateral. Search bar makes finding assets very easy. Fast and high quality support.

CONS

Could be more dynamic in general. Pages could be more straightforward to build - there are a good selection of functions and widgets, but the overall experience is that they're bit clunky to build with. Metadata tagging option could be easier. Admins should have more control over marketing/graphic templates- this shouldn't require developer time, particularly for smaller updates.

Great platfrom, stable and expanding

I've worked with the Brand Hub for a number of years and seen continuous improvement and improved consistency and longevity with the site. We had many custom features in the past, but the core product has evolved so much that its now the best option in terms of what it currently does, and the additions that are in the pipeline which will take our Brand Hub to the next level of support for our content creators.

PROS

The ability to align the Brand Hub to our brand visual identity gives this a bespoke feel which which is important when the site is owned by the brand team. Ease of use throughout - from uploading, page building, user management, keyword management and the end user asset download and sharing process. Search weighting is configurable which has been really helpful in promoting content in the results that which is aligned with our business and the users search terms We see excellent stability with the hub too in terms up uptime and the content. Support from the helpdesk team is excellent who also take on some of our content management

CONS

Access to useful data has improved massively over the years, but would still like to have some asset reporting which shows the visual, meta data and download/views together for reviewing content lifecycles. This isn't automated just yet, but the helpdesk are able to pull the information we need.
