180 Shift to our Business
It's been great. We've been able to uncover a ton of insights into our customer and help us market, segment, and speak to them to ultimately grow acquisition and retention and just generally our topline revenue.
PROSThe access to data that took us SO much time to get to ourselves previously. The access to this data has been a critical component to our growth and will continue to be critical . Secondly, the team. The team at Decile is epic and their ability to work with what we need, provide new reports, also help push our thinking is amazing. My team and I have learned so much from them and love having weekly meetings.
CONSI would love to see more connection points to utilize the software across the business more -- i.e. I briefed in our Business Report that tracks daily performance, but that requires the ability to have goal inputs, pull in traffic, inventory levels, as well as all channel metrics like amount of email sends, SMS sends, store traffic, etc. Having this system be more robust across our business would help us stay focused on driving the business versus pulling information.

Integral Analytics Tool
Decile has been an integral analytics partner. Their data has helped drive more conversions on ad platforms, identify best selling products by demo and customer, what products customers are buying and when they are buying them. Decile has impacted all areas of our company, beyond just ecommerce to marketing and product development. In addition to helping us drive more revenue, Decile has made us a smarter company overall.
PROSInsight into 1st party data and who are customers are, what products they are buying first, second and so on, as well as demographic profile by product to understand which products we can use to reach additional target demos.
CONSDecile has very useful data. Would love to see them further simplify for further ease of use for even the most novice analytic customer.

Quick and easy insights into your most valuable customers
Decile changed the game for how we viewed our customers. As a later stage start up, we were early in out segmentation journey and were hesitant to spend a lot of money and time on a complicated segmentation study. Leveraging Decile's simple analytics and dashboard tools, alongside their excellent CS team, we were able to enact a "segmentation lite" that quickly allowed us to hone in on demographic and psychographic characteristics of our core target consumer. We have since put this core target at the heart of all company activities even beyond marketing targeting to include things like product development and creative approach. It has allowed us to be much more differentiated and focused in an increasingly competitive world.
PROSThe ability to marry internal behavioral attributes and segments with external data to dimentionalise your customers is incredibly valuable. Their dashboards are easy to use. The set up process linked into Shopify made onboarding a breeze.
CONSWe currently rely heavily on the CS team so there isn't anything at this time I can comment on.

Decile for Marketing Analytics
One of the best things about Decile is its flexibility. We've been able to leverage our internal data in quicker and easier ways using things like product and LTV dashboards, as well as utilizing the platform's external data to help us across all of our different business functions (e.g. running a clustering algorithm to help us find our customer personas). Our customer success manager has also been incredibly helpful in finding answers and solutions to any questions or problems we may have, whether that's creating dashboards for us in the platform or helping us run larger analyses for the business. Overall our experience with Decile has been great and we're incredibly pleased with both the platform and the partnership.
CONSOnly thing I can think of is a direct integration with Google Analytics, which we've already been told is in the works!

Powerful tool, with a 5-star support team that helps clients realize its value
Fairly straightforward setup and integration, fast load times on dashboards, accurate and reliable data, intuitive visualizations, and constantly adding new standardized reports to their offerings, which keep up with industry evolutions. The team behind the product is incredible––good listeners, problem solvers, and strategists. Willing to engineer solutions to business needs, and work through the data to ensure it's accessible, insightful, and actionable.
CONSOpportunities for improvement: • Some formatting with the data visualization is shoddy, meaning you can't always export the visualizations to reports––requires some aesthetic modification on the backend. • Introduce educational modules to facilitate self-guided learning; customer use cases to inspire the application of the tool, or some specific features.

Great tool, amazing partner
Decile truly feels like an extension of our team, we meet with our account manager on a weekly basis and he serves up useful and actionable insights about our customer behavior which has allowed us to scale our business, drive repeat purchasers and decrease our CAC.
PROSDecile has allowed us to unlock information about our customer in an easy to set-up and digest way. The tool caters really nicely to all of the questions we have about our retail Ecommerce customer and the team continues to roll out relevant dashboards (or can build something ad hoc if not). We are also using the software to build audiences to serve our digital marketing ads to and are excited about the continued opportunity in this space.
CONSThere isn't an easy integration with Magento, but we manage manually and it's ok!

Exceptional and Affordable BI Tool for E-Commerce Brands
Easy Shopify integration and fast to stand up with insightful default dashboards. Decile provides more insights on customer buying trends than is available in Shopify analytics. Pushing customer segments to growth channels like Facebook and Google is also an extremely valuable feature and is where near-term ROI in the platform manifests.
CONSWhile Decile fairly user-friendly, smaller organizations that don't have an in-house data analyst may need a dedicated account manager to get the most value from the platform.

Loved using Decile!
The weekly meetings were AMAZING and really helped us dive into who our consumers really were!
PROSSuper easy to view all of our demographic information thanks to the various charts.
CONSUnderstanding what a cohort was was the only part I had to get a hold of!
