Tackling higher order volume for a growing business

PROS

Web EDI has helped automate our order processing system with QuickBooks integrations. It is not as QuickBooks friendly as other services I have seen but it meets our needs for a lower cost. I worked with several members of the Web EDI team and they all have been responsive and helpful. As a growing business, Web EDI has allowed us to handle the growing volume of orders and trading partners we are working towards.

CONS

Some processes of the QuickBooks integration require redundant data entry. Imported invoices cannot close or link to sales orders at this time.

Turnkey EDI with no optimization Functions

PROS

Easy to add a partner. Easy to train users

CONS

No functions for export of data for reporting or integration with order processing software (ERP). Orders and invoices had to be hand types in/out of system. A basic CSV function would help. They were not ready for Flash phase out in 2021 and function suffered.

Cheapest. Quickest to implement but we quickly outgrew and switched out.

When others decide for you

This is the least user friendly of the several we use but it does get the job done and is reasonable priced.

PROS

The new layout is better than the old layout. Also the new layout walks you through the step's of invoicing better than the old. Reasonably priced and very responsive customer support.

CONS

Use several different EDI's for our business and this one is the least user friendly. Have to re-key in several key items that never change (ie. business address, phone number) that are auto populated with others.

Testing Service OK but all else is mediocre

PROS

This is more of a service and we have used them in conjunction with Trading partners to onboard with them.

CONS

Not very responsive when there are questions
