I will continue to recommend the HCSS safety to my contractors

HCSS Safety has helped a number of our contractors improve their overall safety culture by creating a platform that includes real-time education as well as data collection that is utilized by the field as well as the corporate office. HCSS safety has helped break down tradtional communication silos/barriers between safety and the field. I look forward to seeing more of our contractors embrace HCSS Safety

Great Program for Effectively and Easily Managing Safety

Overall experience has been positive, the product has tremendously improved my day to day safety management. It allows me to focus on more than I was before and can spend time developing and analyzing data. The customer service department is always helpful and ensures that I will get my questions answered and problems solved.

PROS

The features that are most impactful is having a central location for all our safety paperwork to be stored. This takes a lot of time and button pushing and allows for their to be some management, trend analysis, etc. With the ability to run reports and track trends that helps tremendously as well. The software is easy to use and there is a lot it can do so I am constantly learning about new features that come and am invested in to knowing as much as I can to better serve my department and company with this program.

CONS

The features that I feel like are missing is just some of the customization abilities within incidents, inspections and document management. Having the same freedom that I do in JHA and meetings would be nice. Also the reporting and analytics features having more and more comprehensive styles of reports would help.

Why I only gave you a 3

Overall, its not bad, but performance issues are causing me stress and annoyance throughout the day..

PROS

I like how easy it is to move through the different screens and pull reports

CONS

The performance of this cloud based program is horrible. I constantly get time outs, or errors loading database. I feel like we need to archive some of our incidents so that it loads properly.. I am constanlty having to close out of the browser and go back in bc it times out. doesn't matter what browser

Jennifer Carter's thought on HCCS Safety Management

Over all, they software is great. There are a few simple things, listed above, that could make it work a little easier.

PROS

I like that we have all of our skills, incidents, observations, etc in one place.

CONS

1. In Incidents, Case Contacts, I hate that I have to type the names and phone numbers in every time. Why can't I choose a person and have it auto-fill their contact information? 2. I would like there to be a way for Forms to show up in Safety.
